I Dig Chicks - Jonah Jones

I Dig Chicks - Jonah JonesI Dig Chicks - Jonah JonesIs he telling the truth when Johan Jones says to the world the I Dig Chicks? If we examine the original single front cover artwork then perhaps we might agree with him, as it shows four chicks of Mr Jones's era being hoisted into the air by a digger. On the remix, little has really changed other than that the babes have been updated and the digger has been replaced by a monster truck. The babes are all wearing cowboy boots which is odd attire for a jazz record, but who are we to argue. Hard hat!

The Purple People Eater - Sheb Wooley

The Purple People Eater - Sheb WooleyThe Purple People Eater - Sheb WooleyThe Purple People Eater is now a largely forgotten song by Sheb Wooley. Perhaps this is because the original front cover artwork for the single shows a weird creature with a musical pipe coming from his head. On the remix is a babe wearing largely purple colored clothes. Whether she eats people or not is uncertain, perhaps she does this in a shed, with the singer Sheb, and a dog called Shep. She doesn't seem shey, oops, we mean shy. Woolen!

Walkin' After Midnight - Patsy Cline

Walkin' After Midnight - Patsy ClineWalkin' After Midnight - Patsy ClineWhat do you find if you're Walkin' After Midnight? According to the original single cover artwork by Patsy Cline, her smiling face is what you will find. The remix seems more up-to-date as now, as we wander around after the midnight hour, we find a babe with very long stocking-clad legs, very high heels with red soles, a very short skirt which doesn't quite meet her stockings, and drag-queen make up. Bewitching!

Sea Of Love - Phil Phillips

Sea Of Love - Phil PhillipsSea Of Love - Phil PhillipsYou have to wonder about the sanity of a parent who decide to call their son Philip, when their family name is Phillips. But here we have Phil Phillips and his lazy love song Sea Of Love. On the original cover artwork we find Mr Phillips (Philly to his friends) filling out a space where the backdrop is of a strange combination of an underwater scene and a smiling face. The remix is filled with a babe who is also smiling, and who it might be hoped would find a sea of love of her own. Philtration!

Betty Lou Got A New Pair Of Shoes - Bobby Freeman

Betty Lou Got A New Pair Of Shoes - Bobby FreemanBetty Lou Got A New Pair Of Shoes - Bobby FreemanWhat did you get for Christmas? That's nice. But did you know that, according to Bobby Freeman, Betty Lou Got A New Pair Of Shoes. On the original single front cover artwork, there is no sign of Betty Lou, or her new shoes. On the remix, there she is. I pair of slingback stiletto heels, if we are not mistaken. And that seems to be almost all she is wearing. Bangles!

It Is Such A Good Night - Charlie Steinmann Orchestra

It Is Such A Good Night - Charlie Steinmann OrchestraIt Is Such A Good Night - Charlie Steinmann OrchestraIt Is Such A Good Night to scooba-di-doo, that's not in question from this song apparently by Charlie Steinmann Orchestra, though some sources give the song as being by Heisenberg and the Alberquerque Kingpins. Either way, fans of Breaking Bad will no doubt recognize the song and may wish to replace the original cover artwork which shows a fifties pinup with the remix which shows a more modern pinup, holding a glass of wine. It would be a good night to scooba-di-doo that is to be, or not to be. Question!

My Special Angel - Malcolm Vaughan

My Special Angel - Malcolm VaughanMy Special Angel - Malcolm VaughanNothing beats a good angel remix, and My Special Angel by Malcolm Vaughan is no exception. On the original single cover artwork we find Mr Vaughan looking casually over his shoulder at something but no sign of any angels. On the remix we find a special angel. We know she is special as her wings are black and as everyone knows, only fallen angels have black wings, the rest are white or thereabouts. Soar!

Kisses Sweeter Than Wine - Frankie Vaughan

Another triple-play from us good folk at AllBum.Art, and this time for Frankie Vaughan and his single Kisses Sweeter Than Wine. On the original single front cover artwork we find Mr Vaughan standing holding what appears to be some fishing rope. Where are the kisses, or the wine, you are no doubt asking yourself? On the remixes of course. On the first remix we find a babe whose lush red lips are as tempting as any wine. On the second remix we find a babe drinking white wine. Oh, and most of her clothes seem to have fallen off - maybe she is drunk. Intoxicating!

Wintertime - The Belmonts

[img=images/belmonts-wintertime-1.jpg popup=true width=150 height=150][img=images/belmonts-wintertime-2.jpg popup=true width=150 height=150][img=images/belmonts-wintertime-remix.jpg popup=true width=150 height=150]
OK, so it's not yet Wintertime, neither in the northern nor southern hemispheres, but here in the northern part, it's beginning to get quite cold and so this remix of The Belmonts seems appropriate enough. On the original single cover artwork we find the band members looking quite dapper in their bow ties, but not very wintery. On the first of our triple-play remix, we find a babe who is wearing highly inappropriate attire for the wintertime scene she finds herself in. On the second remix we find a babe who at least tried to dress warm but who seems to have had her furry coat come unbuttoned. Attempting!

Splish Splash - Bobby Darin

Splish Splash - Bobby DarinSplish Splash - Bobby DarinSplish Splash, I was takin' a bath. That is how Bobby Darin opens this classic 50s rock 'n' roll song. On the original single cover artwork, on the other hand, it seems very unlikely that Mr Darin is taking the aforementioned bath, as he is wearing a thick jumper. Unless that is how he likes to bathe. On the remix we find a babe who seems to be wearing nothing more than a bath full of water and a pair of high heels. Spray!
