Karma Police - Radiohead

Karma Police - RadioheadKarma Police - RadioheadWhat could better illustrate Karma Police, than a family queuing up to enter a red circular portal of some kind in which, it would appear, they are likely to fade to red and rotated 90 degrees clockwise? There can be no doubt that this was the thinking behind the original single front cover artwork by Radiohead. The remix is far more straightforward and just shows a busty police officer in her everyday uniform. Well perhaps not every day, just at the weekend. Aroma pickle!

Ride Wid Us - So Solid Crew

Ride Wid Us - So Solid CrewRide Wid Us - So Solid CrewThe So Solid Crew have got an invitation, they are asking that we should Ride Wid Us. Sadly, we have no idea what a Wid is and the original single front cover artwork does not help, as it shows a series of frames from what looks like a B-movie horror film (or maybe it was the song's pop video). On the remix is a babe who is sitting on a bicycle of some kind. So is that what a Wid is? Now it all makes sense, though it might be better if the song had been called Ride A Wid With Us. Patois!

Fell In Love With A Girl - The White Stripes

Fell In Love With A Girl - The White StripesFell In Love With A Girl - The White StripesOur previous White Stripes remix was one of the most popular on the web-site with a rating of over 4 (click on the stars below to join the fun rating the remixes). The original front cover artwork for Fell In Love With A Girl seems to illustrate the different parts of the brain, maybe trying to tell a story about how falling in love works from a cerebral perspective. On the remix is a babe who it would be easy to fall in love with, as she lounges in nothing but her high heels by a swimming pool, and who is also lying underneath a palm branch casting shadows and leaving white stripes all over her body. 4.5 out of 5 for this one? Score!

Close Cover - Minimalistix

Close Cover - MinimalistixClose Cover - MinimalistixMinimalistix were obviously having a bit of an 'off day' when they put together the original front cover artwork for their single Close Cover, as they just adopted some odd picture of piano keys and some blue blobs that their record company no doubt forced upon them. The remix might have been more appropriate (or maybe less so), as it shows a babe who is covering her chest with her blue latex colored hands. The way the picture has been cut, it is close to showing whether or not she has blue latex panties on. It is definitely a combination of close and cover. Platforms!

She's So Unusual - Cyndi Lauper

She's So Unusual - Cyndi LauperShe's So Unusual - Cyndi LauperShe's So Unusual, Cyndi Lauper, that is. Of that there could be little doubt. As if to illustrate her unusualness, on the original album cover artwork we can see Ms Lauper kicking off her heels and dancing in one of her crazy dresses. On the remix is a babe who is, potentially, more unusual than that. She is wearing blue scales, is carrying a ray gun and has two antennae on her head. From this angle, we can only hope that she is a she, but we know that she is so unusual. Cadet!

Get On Your Boots - U2

Get On Your Boots - U2Get On Your Boots - U2It's time for another remix for Irish idols U2 and today we look at their 2009 single Get On Your Boots. On the original cover artwork you will see the band members sitting on what appear to be red leather airport waiting room chairs. Maybe they have an odd definition of boots. On the remix is a babe who is wearing a very fetching pair of boots but nothing else. When someone instructed her to get her boots on, they must have left out any additional information on what else she was meant to wear. Buckle!

Angel - Jon Secada

Angel - Jon SecadaAngel - Jon SecadaIf there's one thing we've learnt, here at AllBum.Art it's that people seem to really like remixes that involve an angel, as it is the most searched-for term on the whole web-site. Today, Jon Secada brings us his take on an Angel by standing in a check jacket against a white background, at least that is what the original front cover of his single shows. On the remix we find a true angel, which we know on account of her having large white wings and matching lingerie (only true angels match their lingerie to their wing color). She seems to be standing in a dirty alleyway with insufficient room to spread her wings. Maybe she needs Mr Secada's help to get free. Resurrection!

So Fresh, So Clean - Outkast

So Fresh, So Clean - OutkastSo Fresh, So Clean - OutkastOutkast are probably best known for singing Hey Ya. Today, though, it is the turn of their single So Fresh, So Clean to get remixed. On the original front cover artwork you can see the band members looking, well, looking, there's not much more to it than that. On the remix is a babe who wants to be so fresh and so clean. So much so that she has decided to take a bath in an old tin tub, by the side of a lake. If she wasn't so dirty, she could have waited to wash until she got home. Soap!

Inside - Stiltskin

Inside - StiltskinInside - StiltskinWhat is Inside? According to the original single front cover artwork by Stiltskin it is an eye set in the middle of what looks like the rings of a cut-down tree. Not very environmentally friendly of them. On the remix is a babe who is tempting you to go inside her hotel room. The tempting is being done by her wearing nothing other than her white high heel shoes. Be careful though, because she isn't actually showing you what is inside. It might be her, but there might be a trap there too, that you can't see behind the door. Attention!

Case Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do) - Mya

Case Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do) - MyaCase Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do) - MyaAlthough the front cover artwork for Mya's single says the title of the song is Case Of The Ex, the full title is Case Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do), got that? And how's about that trendy dash above the letter 'y', to just make the picture of the singer zing with ex-case sparkle? On the remix is a babe kneeling down by a case. Is it her ex's case? Possibly, as she seems to be wearing what's left of a bride's outfit. Maybe the dress is in the case, which is what the ex is all about. Gloves!
