Turn Me On - Kevin Lyttle

Turn Me On - Kevin LyttleTurn Me On - Kevin LyttleLet us briefly examine the original front cover artwork for Turn Me On my Kevin Lyttle. Is there any sign of anything that is, or could be, a turn on? For example, is there a switch or electrical actuator of any type. Seems not. On the remix this is solved as we find a babe whose profession is as an electrician. How do we know this? Look at the electrical board in the top left that she has obviously been working on. How do we know she has been working on this? She is all dirty and is holding some electrical cable. Shocking!

This Summer - Squeeze

This Summer - SqueezeThis Summer - SqueezeWhat shall we do This Summer? Why don't we sit on some deck chairs fully dressed and get a tan only on our faces? That is what Squeeze are suggesting we do, if the original front cover artwork of their single is to be believed. On the remix we find a different view of this summer, which largely consists of five busty babes standing on a beach in their skimpy bikinis. Maybe that is that summer, not this? There!

Dummy - Portishead

Dummy - PortisheadDummy - PortisheadIs that a Dummy pictured on the original front cover artwork of this album from Portishead? It looks more like a zombie than a dummy, and the blurry nature of the shot doesn't help clarify the truth. On the remix the truth is much clearer, as we find a naked babe who is real, and another who is a dummy. Of course we have no idea if the real babe is also a dummy, or whether she is smart, but as she seems to be making out with a mannequin, we can only assume she isn't that bright. Stupid!

The Weekend - Michael Gray

The Weekend - Michael GrayThe Weekend - Michael GrayAnother remix for Michael Gray. We are not sure what goes on at The Weekend where Mr Gray lives, but it seems to involve going into the office to watch a sexy secretary dance around the Xerox machine. On the remix we have taken this one step further and gone into the stationery cupboard and instead of dancing around the photocopier, we have let our babe sit on the copy machine. She decided to do this wearing nothing but red high heels. Now that's more like the weekend. Saturday!

Rainforest - Paul Hardcastle

Rainforest - Paul HardcastleRainforest - Paul HardcastleDear Paul Hardcastle,

The next time you release an album and want someone to help with putting the artwork together, please get in touch.

The original cover for your album Rainforest fails on so many fronts, it isn't worth thinking about. Where is the rain, and where is the forest? Unless you class that fuzz of a hairstyle as a forest.

Instead take our remix and think of how cool it would have been if you had thought of putting a babe standing under a big leave in a rainforest on your original artwork.

Yours sincerely,

The AllBum.Art team.

Me And You And A Dog Named Boo - Lobo

Me And You And A Dog Named Boo - LoboMe And You And A Dog Named Boo - LoboNow think about this… Me (OK, got that) And You (with you so far) And A Dog Named Boo (and your point)? Well the first point is that on the original cover artwork for Me And You And A Dog Named Boo there is no me, and no you. Also isn't it a bit of a coincidence that the dog's name rhymes with you. It wouldn't have worked so well if the dog was named Rover for example. On the remix we find a babe out walking her dog and to be real, who cares what the dog is called. Canine!

Nothing - A

Nothing - ANothing - AYes, believe it or not, there is (or was) and band called A who sang a song whose title was Nothing. You can't make this stuff up. On the original single cover artwork we find the letter A, the word nothing and some band members in black and white, which is almost nothing. On the remix we find a babe who is so incredibly flat-chested that to all intents and purposes, she has nothing, A? Maybe the band were Canadian or something. Maybe the babe is Canadian. Hell, let's all be Canadian for the day. A!

Wet Dream - Max Romeo

Wet Dream - Max RomeoWet Dream - Max RomeoWe are not completely sure what Max Romeo was thinking of with the original single cover artwork for his song Wet Dream, but we think we may get the idea. Why, however, he would resort to a picture of some 1800s era titillation consisting of a babe and her bike for his wet dreams we are not sure. On the remix we find a babe who is standing in a fountain and who has gotten completely soaked in the process. She is wet. And it seems beneath her t-shirt she neglected to wear any bikini. She is a dream. So there you have it, a wet dream of a babe. Drench!

Walking Away - Craig David

Walking Away - Craig DavidWalking Away - Craig DavidIt might just be us, but we fail to see how the original front cover single artwork for Walking Away by Craig David could picture Mr David in a pose where he is in any position to walk. Not least he has his eyes closed which can make walking very hazardous, but he also appears to be leaning back slightly which would throw him off balance. Thankfully on the remix we find a babe who was so disgruntled with Mr David's pose that she decided to walk away. She seems to have needed to squeeze her own ass in the process. Maybe it was a bit itchy. Handsome!

Don't Do It Baby - Mac & Katie Kissoon

Don't Do It Baby - Mac & Katie KissoonDon't Do It Baby - Mac & Katie KissoonMac & Katie Kissoon sing us a song titled Don't Do It Baby. That's OK, we like a good song. But the original single front cover artwork does not give us any indication whatsoever as to what it is that the baby shouldn't do. The remix helps with this as we find a babe trying to climb a wire fence that seems to be stopping her from being run over by cars on the freeway. That's clearly not a sensible thing to be doing and so we echo the Kissoons cry of don't do it baby. Halt!
