Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) - Lostprophets

Cover Artwork Remix of Lostprophets Rooftops Original Cover Artwork of Lostprophets Rooftops The Lostprophets thought that a good way to illustrate the name of their song, Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) would be to show what looks like a zoomed-in view of some kind of grey-scale heraldic shield. Where are the rooftops and what about the broadcasting? On the remix an angel of a babe is standing on a rooftop, with red wings which is odd, as the picture is in black and white. She had better hope it doesn't get too windy, as she might be blown off. Then again, if she is a real angel, she would just flap her wings and fly. Scarlet!

Close Cover - Minimalistix

Cover Artwork Remix of Minimalistix Close Cover Original Cover Artwork of Minimalistix Close Cover Minimalistix were obviously having a bit of an 'off day' when they put together the original front cover artwork for their single Close Cover, as they just adopted some odd picture of piano keys and some blue blobs that their record company no doubt forced upon them. The remix might have been more appropriate (or maybe less so), as it shows a babe who is covering her chest with her blue latex colored hands. The way the picture has been cut, it is close to showing whether or not she has blue latex panties on. It is definitely a combination of close and cover. Platforms!

She's So Unusual - Cyndi Lauper

Cover Artwork Remix of Cyndi Lauper Shes So Unusual Original Cover Artwork of Cyndi Lauper Shes So Unusual She's So Unusual, Cyndi Lauper, that is. Of that there could be little doubt. As if to illustrate her unusualness, on the original album cover artwork we can see Ms Lauper kicking off her heels and dancing in one of her crazy dresses. On the remix is a babe who is, potentially, more unusual than that. She is wearing blue scales, is carrying a ray gun and has two antennae on her head. From this angle, we can only hope that she is a she, but we know that she is so unusual. Cadet!

Get On Your Boots - U2

Cover Artwork Remix of U Get On Your Boots Original Cover Artwork of U2 Get On Your Boots It's time for another remix for Irish idols U2 and today we look at their 2009 single Get On Your Boots. On the original cover artwork you will see the band members sitting on what appear to be red leather airport waiting room chairs. Maybe they have an odd definition of boots. On the remix is a babe who is wearing a very fetching pair of boots but nothing else. When someone instructed her to get her boots on, they must have left out any additional information on what else she was meant to wear. Buckle!

Angel - Jon Secada

Cover Artwork Remix of Jon Secada Angel Original Cover Artwork of Jon Secada Angel If there's one thing we've learnt, here at AllBum.Art it's that people seem to really like remixes that involve an angel, as it is the most searched-for term on the whole web-site. Today, Jon Secada brings us his take on an Angel by standing in a check jacket against a white background, at least that is what the original front cover of his single shows. On the remix we find a true angel, which we know on account of her having large white wings and matching lingerie (only true angels match their lingerie to their wing color). She seems to be standing in a dirty alleyway with insufficient room to spread her wings. Maybe she needs Mr Secada's help to get free. Resurrection!

So Fresh, So Clean - Outkast

Cover Artwork Remix of Outkast So Fresh So Clean Original Cover Artwork of Outkast So Fresh So Clean Outkast are probably best known for singing Hey Ya. Today, though, it is the turn of their single So Fresh, So Clean to get remixed. On the original front cover artwork you can see the band members looking, well, looking, there's not much more to it than that. On the remix is a babe who wants to be so fresh and so clean. So much so that she has decided to take a bath in an old tin tub, by the side of a lake. If she wasn't so dirty, she could have waited to wash until she got home. Soap!

Inside - Stiltskin

Cover Artwork Remix of Stiltskin Inside Original Cover Artwork of Stiltskin Inside What is Inside? According to the original single front cover artwork by Stiltskin it is an eye set in the middle of what looks like the rings of a cut-down tree. Not very environmentally friendly of them. On the remix is a babe who is tempting you to go inside her hotel room. The tempting is being done by her wearing nothing other than her white high heel shoes. Be careful though, because she isn't actually showing you what is inside. It might be her, but there might be a trap there too, that you can't see behind the door. Attention!

A Watcher's Point Of View - PM Dawn

Cover Artwork Remix of Pm Dawn A Watchers Point Of View Original Cover Artwork of Pm Dawn A Watchers Point Of View It's a Watcher's Point Of View (Don't Cha Think)? That is what PM Dawn are asking. To illustrate this, their original single front cover artwork they show us the sea at sunset (or is it sunrise) with the band's name engraved showing outer space. On the remix we see a babe walking down the street and over her left shoulder a guy has the watcher's point of view, with the name of the band suitably engraved over the whole scene. It seems that her dress is very see-through, and although our view shows this, you have to wonder what he is staring at. Pink!

Mind Blowin' - Smooth

Cover Artwork Remix of Smooth Mind Blowin Original Cover Artwork of Smooth Mind Blowin Smooth claim to be Mind Blowin'. On the original single front cover artwork, we can see the singer lying on a couch. The most mind blowin' thing about it is her slightly hypnotic gaze. On the remix a babe seems to be blowin' something that's not there. She is using her mind to simulate some kind of blow, and thus, by definition, is mind blowin'. She has, it has to be added, an almost equally mindful gaze. Now that's tongue-in-cheek smooth. Necklace!

I Need Your Lovin' - Teena Marie

Cover Artwork Remix of Teena Marie I Need Your Lovin Original Cover Artwork of Teena Marie I Need Your Lovin Another remix for Teena Marie and this time she is telling us that I Need Your Lovin' (which we translate as meaning that she needs our lovin'). To give credit where it's due, Ms Marie does look a little needy on the original single front cover artwork. On the remix, the level of neediness has been wound up a notch, as the babe shown standing by a window (and a radiator) looks as if she was ready for lovin' but has been let down and is wondering when her lover will arrive. Better luck next time, eh? No-show!
