wet wet wet wishing i was lucky 2wet wet wet wishing i was lucky 1According to Wet Wet Wet, when they were Wishing I Was Lucky, the first thing that sprung to their mind when putting together the original single front cover artwork was a dark city street, with pictures of the band members strewn on a dirty wall in a haphazard fashion. On the remixed artwork, we find that wishing you are lucky brings you a naked babe showering in a waterfall. Presumably she is wet, though whether she is triply wet is difficult to determine from a distance. Soaking!

atfc onephatdeeva bad habit 2atfc onephatdeeva bad habit 1We are not sure what springs to your mind when a song has the title of Bad Habit, but for ATFC Presents OnePhatDeeva Featuring Lisa Millet, it is a bunch of babes dancing in the vicinity of a number of Dukes Of Hazzard era cars. Just some good old boys, never did any wrong. As opposed to the nun on the remixed cover whose habits seem very bad indeed. Wrong!

My Perfect Cousin - The Undertones

undertones my perfect cousin 2undertones my perfect cousin 1If the original single front cover artwork is to be believed, My Perfect Cousin, according to The Undertones reaches perfection through playing Subbuteo soccer. Maybe that is what counts for perfection where they are from, but at AllBum.Art we seek a little more from our perfection. On the remix we find a babe of near perfection. Of course perfection is an individual decision, but if she was our cousin, we would be happy. Sublime!

Dancing Girls - Nik Kershaw

nik kershaw dancing girls 2nik kershaw dancing girls 1Bring on the Dancing Girls, sings Nik Kershaw. He may sing that, but on the original single front cover artwork we find nothing but Mr Kershaw. Maybe he is waiting for the dancing girls to arrive? On the remix we find that the girls have arrived and appear to have begun dancing around a gold colored pole that they have brought with them. But where are they? It looks from the nature of the iron gates behind them that this may be the doorway to some dreary dungeon. No wonder they took so long to get here. Arrival!

Walking In The Rain - Modern Romance

modern romance walking in the rain 2modern romance walking in the rain 1You may have noticed that the guys here at AllBum.Art have a number of favorite topics when it comes to remixing single and album artwork, in particular angels, and people caught in the rain. So they jumped at the chance to remix Walking In The Rain by Modern Romance (and not because it had an angel in it!) On the original cover, there is no evidence of any walking, but they have tipped their hat at the rain with an umbrella in the background. On the remix we find a babe walking in the rain. Could it be any more straightforward than that? Splash!

In For The Kill - La Roux

la roux in for the kill 2la roux in for the kill 1It is feasible, we suppose, that when La Roux put together the original single cover artwork for In For The Kill, they thought that some dry ice and an aging sports car would suffice to give the impression of menace. On the remix we find a babe who is far less subtle in her murderous intentions as she is pointing a great big gun at someone or something, thankfully not at us. Why it is raining purple raindrops is not clear, perhaps this is on another planet. Alien!

Eton Rifles - The Jam

the jam the eton rifles 2the jam the eton rifles 1Another remix for British mod band, The Jam that has been submitted by Mr Confiture of England (not his real name we suspect) who has sent us his versions of Eton Rifles. Mr C tells us that:
Eton is a posh place where toffs go to school, so if it has rifles they would be held by posh women drinking wine in the countryside.

Thanks for the geography lesson Mr C and thanks for the remix too, we like your style. Double-barreled!

Good Enough - Dodgy

dodgy good enough 2dodgy good enough 1What is Good Enough for Dodgy? According to their original single cover artwork, a sunflower is good enough for them. Fair enough. On the remix we find a babe who appears to have made an attempt to trim her bush and is showing it to someone in a way that begs the question, is it good enough. The question then becomes, good enough for what? Without knowing what the aim of her trimming exercise was, it's difficult to answer the question as to whether it is good enough or not. Fuzz!

Size Isn't Everything - Bee Gees

bee gees size isnt everything 2bee gees size isnt everything 1We are not quite sure what the Bee Gees were thinking with their original cover artwork, unless they were thinking that showing a fish-eye distorted picture of the band members standing around by a palm tree in front of a white building somehow reflected the title of the album. On the remix we find that a man is measuring the size of a babe's boobs (which seem to be 44 inches) and, to be fair, in this picture, it is the size which draws your eyes and so maybe size is everything after all. Whoppers!

The Morning After - 8 Wonders

8 wonders the morning after 28 wonders the morning after 1It seems that a lot of dance music (EDM) acts including 8 Wonders who, for their original single cover artwork, came up with nothing more inventive than showing the title of the song, the name of the band, and the logo of the record company. On the remix, we find a babe who has clearly had a bit of a heavy night, and on the morning after, is taking a bath to soothe her weary bones. In full make-up. Relaxing!
