alexander o neal my t to you remixalexander o neal my t to you 1Alexander O'Neal sends us My Gift To You, which is very kind of him. On the original album cover artwork we find Mr O'Neal standing outdoors on a snowy street with olde worlde lights shining on the dark, arctic scene. All very good, but where's the gift. It seems that the gift has already been given as on the remix we find a babe opening a present and she seems quite pleased with what is in the box. Perhaps it is some new clothes as all of her old ones appear to have dissolved. Acid!

belmonts wintertime 1belmonts wintertime 2belmonts wintertime remix
OK, so it's not yet Wintertime, neither in the northern nor southern hemispheres, but here in the northern part, it's beginning to get quite cold and so this remix of The Belmonts seems appropriate enough. On the original single cover artwork we find the band members looking quite dapper in their bow ties, but not very wintery. On the first of our triple-play remix, we find a babe who is wearing highly inappropriate attire for the wintertime scene she finds herself in. On the second remix we find a babe who at least tried to dress warm but who seems to have had her furry coat come unbuttoned. Attempting!

Broken Down Angel - Nazareth

nazareth broken down angel remixnazareth broken down angel 1Back to the wintery remixes as we consider Broken Down Angel by Nazareth. Not only does the name of the band have biblical connotations, but the title does too, because it mentions angels which is one of our favorite topics. On the original single cover artwork we find nothing more than the band members. On the remix we find a babe whose car appears to have broken down. We know this as she is attempting a push start. If we may offer her some advice, it may have been more sensible to do this wearing clothes and more sensible shoes than high heels (especially in the snow). Just sayin' is all.

Fantasy Island - M People

We're on a bit of a roll at the moment with remixes of artwork from M People and today we bring you one of our legendary triple-plays. On the original single cover we find the lead singer of the band lying down among some clearly fake grass and plants. Could this be on a Fantasy Island, as the title suggests? Maybe. Then again the first remix shows a different babe against a backdrop that is clearly a tropical island and put the two together and maybe there are fantasies to be lived. Finally, on the second remix we find a babe who has been sitting in the sand and is off to wash it off in the sea. She must have removed her bikini for safe keeping. Rinse!

Don't Look Any Further - M People

m people dont look any further 2m people dont look any further 1So when M People were singing Don't Look Any Further, what they seemed to have in mind was the notion that you would stop looking for whatever it was you were searching for, when you found a pink sofa. For some people that may be true, but let's make it more compelling and add a babe to the sofa and see if that has more of a desired effect when it comes to helping you to find what it was you were looking further for in the first place. Seek!

One Night In Heaven - M People

m people one night in heaven 2m people one night in heaven 1Would you like to spend One Night In Heaven with M People? Perhaps you need some information about what it would be like? Well, according to the original single cover artwork, it would be like a distorted version of the German flag, with some badly drawn squiggles on it. Or there is the remix, which looks far more like the kind of night in heaven that we would prefer, an angel in lingerie. Serene!

Bizarre Fruit - M People

m people bizarre fruit 2m people bizarre fruit 1While we are with M People, here's another remix. This time it is of the artwork for their album Bizarre Fruit. On the original cover we find the band members walking around an art gallery, some of whom are inspecting paintings of fruit done in an artistic style. That seems reasonably bizarre. On the remix we find a babe who has some pieces of fruit nestling between her butt cheeks. The fruit itself isn't that bizarre but we can imagine that if you speared it with a fork, it would cause some consternation. Slurp!

Dreaming - M People

m people dreaming remixm people dreaming 1M People are Dreaming, or at least that is what the title of their single would lead us to believe. Strangely, the cover artwork tells us a different story as all of the band members appear to be awake, so unless they are day dreaming, then none of this makes any sense (nor incidentally does gwackmoopigpog). On the remix we find four babes asleep and quite likely dreaming. Or if they aren't dreaming of something, then someone else is dreaming of them. Reciprocal!

Take 5 - Northside

northside take 5 2northside take 5 1Exactly where we find artwork to remix is a bit of an unknown, especially when we remix songs like Take 5 by Northside which achieved the dizzy heights of number 40 in the British charts. Why have we remixed this obscure song, simply because we had a great photo of five babes and needed a song with the number five in its title. On the original single cover artwork we find what appears to be an elementary grade student's paper-mache version of a man on a motorcycle. On the remix are the five babes we mentioned, who are ripe for the taking, hence 'Take 5'. You see how that works?

(In The) Cold Light Of Day - Gene Pitney

gene pitney cold light of day 2gene pitney cold light of day 1Gene Pitney sings to us in his melodious fashion about what happens (In The) Cold Light Of Day. But all we learn from the original single cover artwork is that Mr Pitney owns a brown suede jacket and green slacks (isn't that what they were called in the 60s?) On the remix we find a babe standing in the cold light of day. We can see that is it light as there isn't a cloud in the sky and we know it is cold because of all the snow there and abouts. Shiver!
