darlene love christmas 2darlene love christmas 1It's Christmas Eve and what better song to get us into the festive spirit than Baby (Please Come Home) by Darlene Love? On the original artwork we find Ms Love in a fetching shade of violet but with very little of the season's festivities about her. On the remix we find a babe in a Santa hat and who's only other clothing seems to be some fairy lights. At least she is keeping warm in front of a blazing fire. Bobble!

Your Christmas Wish - The Smurfs

smurfs your christmas wish 2smurfs your christmas wish 1As Christmas approaches, we bring you another festive remix, this time from The Smurfs and their Christmas Wish. It seems that what the Smurfs wish for at this time of year is to float around underneath a mushroom with a bag of presents. That might be OK, but it's not what we wish for. Instead on the remix of the original single cover artwork we find a babe wearing a Santa hat and who is biting on the panties that she seems to have removed along with the rest of her festive outfit. Wishful!

fat les naughty christmas remixfat les naughty christmas 1It's the last working day before Christmas this year, and probably the last day in the office for many. It therefore seems appropriate that today's remixed artwork is for Naughty Christmas (Goblin In The Office) by Fat Les. The original single cover shows a babe holding some mistletoe though what she is holding it over is not revealed to us. On the remix we find a babe who has revealed almost everything to us, other than her festive hat and seasonal red heels. Naughty!

gary walker santas got a brand new bag 2gary walker santas got a brand new bag 1Santa's Got A Brand New Bag, at least that is what Gary Walker tells us. On the original single front cover artwork we find Santa going about his festive business. It looks like he could do with a new bag as the one he has seems to have a patch stitched on it. On the remix we find a bunch of babes who have made some nice new pink velvet bags to give to Santa, which they seem to have made from their tops, as they appear to have lost these. How kind of them to help poor Santa out. Sewing!

Sleighbell Rock - Chuck Blevins

chuck blevins sleighbell rock remixchuck blevins sleighbell rock 1On the original single cover artwork for Sleighbell Rock by Chuck Blevins we find some bells, and the silhouette of Santa's sleigh being pulled along by the reindeer - very seasonal! On the remix we find a babe sitting on a sleigh with her bells on show. The sleigh seems a little too small to carry many presents, then again with her sitting on it, perhaps you don't need anything else to unwrap? Holiday!

john lee hooker chill out 2john lee hooker chill out 1We give full marks to John Lee Hooker for the original album front cover artwork of Chill Out as we find on it a scene in which Mr Hooker is relaxing on a comfortable chair by what appears to be a tropical beach. On the remix we find a babe who seems equally relaxed but who is taking a dip in a frozen lake. She is definitely out and will no doubt get a chill if she isn't too careful. Maybe next time a wet-suit might be useful. Redness!

Winter - Cord

cord winter remixcord winter 1When Cord sing about Winter on their single (and album of the same name) we expect more on the cover than a girl holding a bear standing around in front of a newsagent, but that is what is found on the original cover artwork. On the remix we find three babes who are also standing around and one of them is bare and this time it's definitely winter as there's lots of snow on the ground. Why they are in this predicament is anyone's guess. Melting!

Winter Song - Chris Rea

chris rea winter song 2chris rea winter song 1On the original single cover artwork for Winter Song, we find Chris Rea apparently getting soaked by water pouring over him from a tuba floating above his head. What exactly this has gotten to do with winter remains as mysterious as the Bowler Hat being held by Mr Rea. On the remix we find a babe who is singing a song whilst in a very snowy and wintery setting. She has a nice warm scarf but seems to have forgotten most of the rest of her winter clothes. Icicles!

Red Hot - Vanessa-Mae

vanessa mae red hot remixvanessa mae red hot 1You might wonder why we are remixing Red Hot by Vanessa-Mae in December? Let's begin by examining the original single cover artwork where we find Ms Mae posing provocatively in red whilst some flames lick at her body. Not that Decembery you might think. On the remix we find a bane who is also posing provocatively in red. The thing is that she is so hot, that in order to cool down she is throwing snow at her ass. And now you can see why this remix works in the context of the winter months. Defrost!

Storm Front - Billy Joel

billy joel storm front remixbilly joel storm front 1When we first saw the original album cover artwork for Storm Front by Billy Joel, we had to investigate whether it had any connection with storms. It turns out that the red flag with a black square in it is a nautical flag meaning that storms are on the way. So thumbs up for that. On the remix, though, we find a babe standing outside whilst a snow storm is going on. She is showing us her chilly front, and so we guess this would be an alternative representation of the album's title. Peaky!
