alvin stardust so near to xmas remixalvin stardust so near to xmas 1Twas the night before Christmas and therefore So Near To Christmas, which is what Alvin Stardust sings about in the single of the same name. On the original cover, the odd thing, is that the only reference to the holidays is a piece of holly stuck in the bottom right hand corner. Otherwise it could be any Gothic evening of the year. On the remix it's definitely near to Christmas as a babe prepares for the special day by putting her shoes on. She might have remember to put her other clothes on first though. Hat!

White Christmas - Darts

darts white christmas 2darts white christmas 1In a way, cover versions (or versions of a cover) is what AllBum.Art is all about, so it is particularly prescient that today's remix is of a cover version of White Christmas by Darts. Of course we all know it's originally by Bong Crispy which is why, on the original cover of the cover version, the band are looking a little sad. Probably. On the remix we just find a babe who is wearing white at Christmas time, at least it's probably Christmas as it's cold and snowy. What random and pointless logic. Flagpole!

Stone Cold - Rainbow

rainbow stone cold remixrainbow stone cold 1There are, as anyone knows, varying degrees of coldness from 'a bit chilly' to 'brass monkeys'. Rainbow have decided to go with Stone Cold which is nearer to the monkey end of the scale than the chilly end. Sadly the cover of their single doesn't portray this which is why we have remixed it to show a babe who is attempting to turn herself to stone by freezing herself with snow. Sub-zero!

Push In The Bush - Clair Hicks And Love Exchange

A triple-play of remixes and ones that fall within our 'X-rated remixes' category. The original cover for Clair Hicks And Love Exchange is nothing more than the title of the song and the name of the band against a marbled backdrop. The two remixxes follow an identical theme, that of one babe pushing in the bush (see definition number 11 in case this whole thing doesn't make sense) of another girl. On the first the pushing has already been quite successful. On the second (where it oddly appears that the babes concerned are dressed as schoolgirls) the pushing has a little further to go, though the pained look on the girl who is being pushed into's face suggests it might be time to stop. Fist!

Fools Gold - The Stone Roses

stone roses fools gold 2stone roses fools gold 1Having seen yesterday's remix of a track by The Stone Roses, we received a user submitted remix of Fools Gold from Maark Aardman (not sure why there are so many extra 'a's in his name) from Bolton, England. Maark says:
Our lad needs some gold that would make a fool of you, get in!
We don't quite know what he means but we get the idea. The babe in the remix wouldn't fool anyone with that gold get-up. Shiny!

I Hear Music In The Streets - Unlimited Touch

unlimited touch i hear music in the streets remixunlimited touch i hear music in the streets 1What do you hear? I Hear Music In The Streets, and so, it seems, do Unlimited Touch. That may be the case, but the cover of their single has no indication that they are hearing music, nor of where the street is. On the remix we find a babe dancing in the street, so clearly there must be music around. Why she is doing this wearing nothing but high heels is another question, but one that isn't searching for an immediate answer. Boogie!

denise lasalle my toot toot remixdenise lasalle my toot toot 1Don't play with My Toot Toot, is what Denise Lasalle told us not to do. But given the smile she is exuding on the cover of her single, you are left wondering whether someone hasn't already tweaked her toot toot to her satisfaction (which is why she wishes no further interaction with it). On the remix we find four babes wearing tutus (see what we did there) and they don't look like the kind of babes you would want to mess with. Ballet!

Halloween - Misfits

misfits halloween 2misfits halloween 1Halloween is finally upon us, as fiendish ghouls and ghastly fiends take to the streets. The Misfits provide us with today's appropriately titled remix. On the original cover we find the band members looking suitably monochrome and blurred. On the remix we find a Halloween misfit, in the shape of a busty babe in a devil's outfit. Actually, she's not really that much of a misfit as she would not really stand out among all the other outfits that other misfits are likely to wear for parties on this dastardly day. Whooo!

Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) - David Bowie

david bowie scary monsters remixdavid bowie scary monsters 1Another in this week's series of Halloween remixes by none other than David Bowie. His album Scary Monsters and his single Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) makes ideal material for a remix, not least because the original cover isn't particularly scary or creepy at all. On the remix, though, we find a babe being chased by all manner of scary creeps and super monsters and as they have been coming for her, it seems she has found that the best way to fend them off is to pull her panties down. Now in most cases, people use garlic and crosses to fend of monsters but if this works, who are we to intervene. Experiment!

Road To Hell - Chris Rea

chris rea road to hell remixchris rea road to hell 1When Chris Rea sings about the Road To Hell you would expect him to give some kind of direction so that it's clear where to avoid (or where to go) if you wanted to find Hades. On the original single cover artwork, though, all we can see is an odd cube floating in space. Thankfully on the remix we find a babe who is showing us exactly what the road to hell is. It turns out it's the A4139 which goes to Dinbych-y-pysgod (a devilish place if ever there was one) and also to Hell. Looks as if the babe concerned is already full of devilment. Lucifer!
