Cover Artwork Remix of Dolly Parton Hard Candy Christmas Original Cover Artwork of Dolly Parton Hard Candy Christmas What exactly is a Hard Candy Christmas, as sung to us by Dolly Parton? If the original cover of this festive track tells us anything related to this question, it is that Ms Parton thinks that wearing a Santa outfit and standing in snow-filled scenery is meant to answer it. The remix shows what a real hard candy xmas might be like, with a babe whose chilly bits are only covered by candy that, in the cold, would be very hard indeed... and the candy. Brittle!

Garage Days Part II - Metallica

Cover Artwork Remix of Metallica Garage Days Original Cover Artwork of Metallica Garage Days Today's AllBum.Art remix is for Metallica's album Garage Days Part II (or Garage Days Re-Revisited Part II to give it its full mane). The original cover shows... well not much at all, just the Metallica logo, a stylized skull and cross-bones, and the title of the album. The remix shows a babe standing around in a garage during the day. No-one seems to be parked in the garage but that's maybe a good thing, as the babe concerned does not appear to be wearing any clothes. Park!

Off The Wall - Michael Jackson

Cover Artwork Remix of Michael Jackson Off The Wall Original Cover Artwork of Michael Jackson Off The Wall If we had saved up all of the remixes of covers of songs or albums by Michael Jackson that we here at AllBum.Art have produced, we'd have enough for a week-long special or thereabouts. Today it's the turn of his popular 1980s album Off The Wall. The original cover would score very highly featuring, as it does, both Mr Jackson and a wall. The remix therefore would score slightly lower as gone is Mr Jackson and in his place is a hot babe. The wall is still there. And when you think about it, you'd probably rather score the remix after all. We would. Brick!

Street Songs - Rick James

Cover Artwork Remix of Rick James Street Songs Original Cover Artwork of Rick James Street Songs If there's one thing we particularly enjoy remixing here at AllBum.Art, it's albums or singles with the word 'street' in their title. Why? Because it gives us the opportunity to use a picture from one of our favorite topics, naked babes walking down streets. Don't ask why this is such a fixation with us, just enjoy this remix of Street Songs by Rick James in which the original cover has been replaced by a nearly naked babe on a street. Obvious!

Private Dancer - Tina Turner

Cover Artwork Remix of Tina Turner Private Dancer Original Cover Artwork of Tina Turner Private Dancer Who could forget the song, Private Dancer, by Tina Turner. It includes the line, "I'm your private dancer, dancer for money, do what you want me to to". In today's parlance, this would inevitably refer to the ladies of the pole, the dancers of the mast, the groovers of the stick. On the original cover we see Ms Turner sitting in a chair but, and here's the amazing bit, she is not dancing! In the remix we see a lady of the pole, dancing for money. And doing pretty much what you would expect her to do for the price. Ching!

Surfer Rosa - Pixies

Cover Artwork Remix of Pixies Surfer Rosa Original Cover Artwork of Pixies Surfer Rosa We did laugh when the original cover of the Pixies' album Surfer Rosa was brought to our attention. It seems they were trying to pre-empt any remix by having a Spanish looking flamenco dancer stand topless amidst some religious symbolism. Nice try, but when we translated Surfer Rosa from Spanish into Japanese, and then from Japanese to Russian, then to Italian, back to Spanish, then to German, and eventually English, we found that it actually meant 'woman red clothes naked pose mountain'. So that's what the remix is. Spike!

Cover Artwork Remix of Arrow Hot Hot Hot Original Cover Artwork of Arrow Hot Hot Hot So here we are, on our way to the beach flying on a Groovejet when the pilot comes on the tannoy to announce the weather at the destination. Is it warm and sunny? No. Is it hot and sticky? No. According to the captain it's Hot Hot Hot, which is exactly the forecast that Arrow gave in his 1980s song and album of the same name. How fortuitous that the remix shows the weather at the destination and even better that it shows three hot hot hot babes waiting there. Sizzle!

Cover Artwork Remix of Phantom Of The Opera Original Cover Artwork of Phantom Of The Opera We had an email from Timothy Blenkinsop-Smithe of Olde England who said:
Your web-site is replete with alternative artwork for very low-brow songs that should be in the gutter. You need to add some high-brow content to your site through classical music and opera.

Timothy sent us this remix for the soundtrack album of The Phantom Of The Opera as an illustration of what he called 'a more aesthetically blended visualization'. Whatever floats your boat Timothy!

Three Of A Perfect Pair - King Crimson

Cover Artwork Remix of King Crimson 3 Perfect Pair Original Cover Artwork of King Crimson 3 Perfect Pair There is an obvious remix for any cover artwork for an album called Three Of A Perfect Pair, focusing, as would be expected, on the perfect pair analogy. But for this remix of the 1980s album by King Crimson, we have chosen a less beaten path and simply replaced the odd symbol with three babes, all of who have a perfect pair. Now that's what we call a remix. Sextuplet!

Vienna - Ultravox

Cover Artwork Remix of Ultravox Vienna Original Cover Artwork of Ultravox Vienna The song Vienna by Ultravox was, apparently, the breakthrough song of the 1980s new romantic synth-pop era. This remix of the album cover of the same name comes from Simon Lampeter of Britain who says:
The new romantic era was all about romance and newness. The original album cover has neither. My remix has both. Hope you like it.

Nice one Simon. Always nice to receive a user submitted entry.
