trashmen surfin bird remixtrashmen surfin bird 1If you never saw it, then before even thinking about reading any further, go and watch the piece from Family Guy concerning 'mass awareness of a certain avian variety', go watch it now. Then come back and think about what a Surfin' Bird is. To us it's simple. It's a cute surfin' bird. Simple really. Everybody knows that bird is the word. Tweet!

the move night of fear 2the move night of fear 1Woooo.... It's Halloween, which means it's time for another remid from our collection of Halloween Hits, and this time it's the turn of Night Of Fear by The Move. On the original single cover artwork we find the band members who, to be fair to them, do look quite scary. On the remix we find a babe who is being tapped on the shoulder by a skeleton and is surely going to be in fear for the rest of the night. Fearsome!

Season Of The Witch - The Vanilla Fudge

vanilla fudge season of the witch remixvanilla fudge season of the witch 1Odd combination don't you think? A band called Vanilla Fudge which sounds all gooey and sweet, singing a song called Season Of The Witch which sounds anything but gooey and sweet. The original single cover artwork showcases the gooey and sweet faces of the band members. The remix goes in a different direction as we find a witch who has been reading up on her spells and practicing flying on her broom whilst, oddly, forgetting to put a top on. Maybe she is in season? Autumn!

Hats Off To Larry - Del Shannon

del shannon hats off to larry remixdel shannon hats off to larry 1Whilst we're doing hats, here's a cheeky remix of Hats Off To Larry by Del Shannon. On the original single cover artwork we find Mr Shannon in a very tessellated state, smiling at us in a 60s style. On the remix we find a babe who would be in trouble if Mr Shannon found her because she has not followed his instructions and taken her hat off, but is wearing it. He might be inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt though, as it seems that her hat is in fact the only thing she is wearing. Slope!

Wet Dream - Max Romeo

max romeo wet dream 2max romeo wet dream 1We are not completely sure what Max Romeo was thinking of with the original single cover artwork for his song Wet Dream, but we think we may get the idea. Why, however, he would resort to a picture of some 1800s era titillation consisting of a babe and her bike for his wet dreams we are not sure. On the remix we find a babe who is standing in a fountain and who has gotten completely soaked in the process. She is wet. And it seems beneath her t-shirt she neglected to wear any bikini. She is a dream. So there you have it, a wet dream of a babe. Drench!

Barefootin' - Robert Parker

robert parker barefootin remixrobert parker barefootin 1We get the idea of the original single cover artwork for Barefootin' by Robert Parker, which is that some three footed person has painted their feet a different color then walked across the cover. A nice try for sure, and it must have been difficult to have found someone with three feet. On the remix, an alternative view of the song's title, as we find a cute young babe waking barefoot across a sandy beach. And it's not just her feet that are bare. Dunes!

petula clark my friend the sea 2petula clark my friend the sea 1My Friend The Sea is who Petula Clark sings about. Good for her! But on the original single cover artwork, if Ms Clark is standing near the sea, this is not clear as the beach is totally out of the shot. On the remix we find a babe who is definitely good friends with the sea and we know this because she is enjoying a stroll along the beach at sunset (or it is sunrise) and looks most chummy with the waves. Splash!

Sittin' On A Fence - Twice As Much

twice as much sittin on a fence 2twice as much sittin on a fence 1As we often say at AllBum.Art, sometimes our remix of original single or album cover artwork is inspired by the name of a track, and sometimes by a picture. This one was inspired by a picture of a bootisome babe Sittin' On A Fence, and luckily there was a single by Twice As Much that did the honors. The original cover needs a remix too, as it just shows the band members looking sad. Cheer up and go join the babe sittin' on the fence. Windbreak!

Just One Look - The Hollies

hollies just one look 2hollies just one look 1It seems that The Hollies are fond of single cover artwork in which the band members appear in front of a red wall. On Just One Look, the banality of their cover is probably the reason why you wouldn't bother taking a second or third look. On the remix we find a babe who is offering you just one look. One look at what is underneath her bra. So you only have that one look to make your decision as to whether this remix is better than the original. Decide!

stevie wonder up tight 2stevie wonder up tight 1Another remix for Stevie Wonder, this time for his 1966 hit Up-Tight (Everything's Alright). On the original single cover artwork we find Mr Wonder playing harmonica, drums and piano (and presumably also singing), but what is tight about this? On the remix we find a babe who is very tightly strung being, as she is, laced up an a tight fitting corset and a matching skirt. Everything's alright!
