Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Ol Rag Blues Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Ol Rag Blues Our Status Quo week, brought to you courtesy of Mark Hodson of England moves into the 1980s with this remix of their song Ol' Rag Blues. Mr Hodson says that although it has always been fashionable to wear ripped denim, he feels that the original cover is now too 80s and that a modern version was needed. In the remixed cover we see a girl in her ripped denim who is, according to Mr Hodson, 'getting into the vibe of the music of the Quo'. If that's what their music does to babes wearing blue jeans, perhaps we should go to England to see them on tour.

Rain - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Rain Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Rain And another in this week's remixes of Status Quo songs sent in by Mark Hodson of England. In this one, Rain, Mr Hodson says:
In the song, the Quo sing that they can't live without the rain. Now we all know plants need rain, but for a rock band, there must be a different reason why rain is so attractive and in my remix I have shown why.

Ah, so the reason they can't live without the rain is because there's a naked chick lying on the floor being soaked by it. That makes complete sense.

Down Down - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Down Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Down Yet another in this week's series of remixes of single covers by Status Quo sent in by Mark Hodson of England. Apparently Down Down was one of their biggest hits but Mr Hodson feels that what they are singing about is the lowering of knickers and that the cover does not reflect this. So he has provided us with this remix where calling out 'Down Down' whilst the scene is unfolding would no doubt enhance the cover even further.

Living On An Island - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Living On Island Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Living On Island Another in the series of remixes of Status Quo covers sent to us by Mark Hodson of England. Mark says:
I don't know which island the Quo were thinking of, but the kind of island I would like to live on is one where there are loads of fit birds with their kit off.

We're not exactly sure what a fit bird is, but the remixed cover of Living On An Island gives a good idea!

Paper Plane - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Paper Plane Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Paper Plane We got a long letter from Mark Hodson of England who said he had been 'inspired' by the AllBum.Art web-site to remix a number of covers for one of his favourite British bands, Status Quo. Attached to Mr Hodson's e-mail were no fewer than 6 sets of remixed covers for songs by the band and so this week we present the Status Quo series starting with a 1972 song called Paper Plane. The remix speaks for itself - a topless (and nicely busty) babe surrounded by paper planes. More to follow...

Skiing In The Snow - Wigan's Ovation

Cover Artwork Remix of Wigan Skiing Snow Original Cover Artwork of Wigan Skiing Snow What were we on? Planet snowski? The fact is that faced with a cool picture of a chick in a ski scene who is about to get very cold due to her less then skimpy ski suit then a remix of a cover was essential. Sadly the only song we could find that covered both snow and skiing was a completely obscure piece of 1970s crap from an unheard of band from England. Still, a salope in a salopette has a certain resonance even in the 1970s.

God Is A DJ - Faithless

Cover Artwork Remix of Faithless God Is A Dj Original Cover Artwork of Faithless God Is A Dj If God Is A DJ, as British band Faithless would have us believe, what would the cover of a single proclaiming this look like? Would it have a picture of a bald-headed black guy with his arms by his side and his arms closed? Maybe it would, after all: God moves in mysterious ways. However we prefer to think that God would want the cover of the single to show his finest creation - naked babes. Amen to that brother!

Stupid Girl - Garbage

Cover Artwork Remix of Garbage Stupid Girl Original Cover Artwork of Garbage Stupid Girl The original cover for the 1990s single Stupid Girl by Garbage deserves to go where the band's name suggests, in the trash can. Has there ever been a less interesting cover for a single whose title holds out so much promise? Probably not. So the AllBum.Art team has remixed it to show what the song is talking about - a stupid girl. Why is she stupid? She is naked except for some snake-skin boots and she has a snake around her neck. It it just us, or is that not a recipe designed to make the snake angry? How stupid can you be?

Monster Mash - Bobby (Boris) Pickett And The Crypt Kickers

Cover Artwork Remix of Boris Pickett Monster Mash Original Cover Artwork of Boris Pickett Monster Mash As it's Halloween, we're dishing up a double daily dose of dastardly deeds. In this case, a remix of the 1962 single from Bobby (Boris) Pickett And The Crypt Kickers. This song is forever on the radio at this time of the year, despite being over 50 years old. The Monster Mash is about a party for ghouls. The cover seems to show one guy on his way to the party. The remix shows the ghastly goings-on at the party itself!

Somebody's Watching Me - Rockwell

Cover Artwork Remix of Rockwell Watching Me Original Cover Artwork of Rockwell Watching Me As it's Halloween, time for something appropriate to the date (or inappropriate as the case may be). The cover for the 1984 single Somebody's Watching Me from Rockwell has as couple of eyes peering out of the corner but no indication of what it is that they are watching. Spooky as it may seem, it looks like what Rockwell was looking at was some naked chick in a Halloween outfit!
