Cover Artwork Remix of Sammy Hagar Standing Hampton Original Cover Artwork of Sammy Hagar Standing Hampton What, pray tell, is a Standing Hampton? According to Sammy Hagar, it seems to be represented by having a near naked babe sitting in the corner of a room, whilst a man in a suit and a bowler hat takes a good look at her. Alternatively, peer through the window and a different babe wearing only a red skirt is also being stared at by a man in a suit. On the remix, a different babe is standing in the corner of a room, and is being watched by a man in a hat. Is this what Mr Hagar really had in mind? Hampton!

Hijacker - Irina Allegrova

Cover Artwork Remix of Irina Allegrova Ugonshica Hijacker Original Cover Artwork of Irina Allegrova Ugonshica Hijacker The first time that AllBum.Art has remixed cover artwork for a song whose title is in a completely foreign language. On the original cover of Угонщица (Hijacker) by Ирина Аллегрова (Irina Allegrova) we find Ms Allegrova wearing a golden corset and black tights. If that is what hijackers look like in Russia then that explains a lot. On the remix is a different female hijacker with a machine gun and her face covered. Apart from her boots, though, that's the only part of her that is covered. Oбнаженный!

Short Skirt/Long Jacket - Cake

Cover Artwork Remix of Cake Short Skirt Long Jacket Original Cover Artwork of Cake Short Skirt Long Jacket If ever a cover did nothing to reflect the name of a single, this has to be up there with the worst. The original cover of Short Skirt/Long Jacket by California alternative rock band Cake depicts a girl playing an accordion. The accordion is so large that it is impossible to see how long her skirt is or even whether she is wearing a coat. In the remix, this answer is made clear. Her coat is long, but her skirt is so short, that to the naked eye, it is invisible, rendering her naked, under her coat. A naked eyeful!

Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor

Cover Artwork Remix of Survivor Eye Of Tiger Original Cover Artwork of Survivor Eye Of Tiger When looking for pictures for yesterday's remix of Roar by Katy Perry, we came across lots of pictures of tiger related babes and felt the need to do a remix of the all-time tiger classic, Eye Of The Tiger. The original cover of this Survivor song, has a tiger in it, whose eyes (note the plurality of that) are highlighted in yellow (though of course it should only be one eye to be true to the song's title). The remix has replaced the tiger with another, and very different, member of the Panthera species - a naked chick painted as a tiger - what else!

The fourth AllBum.Art for Katy Perry is partly in response to an e-mail we received from Kaydn of Jacksonville, FL. In her e-mail, Kaydn (no surname given) said:
y is u always remixing old shit like disco and that - do some chartz LOL

Although Kaydn's use of the language is a bit shit itself, we got the gist of her message and so here is a remix of the 2013 of Ms Perry's single Roar. Instead of Ms Perry on the cover, we have instead two alternative 'tigers'. One of them a nice example of the art of Hentai, and the other, a nice example of a naked chick painted in tiger colors. That OK for you Kaydn, LOL.

Another triple track whammy for you by the AllBum.Art. In order to get all that rock music out of our heads following last week's Status Quo week, we've been listening to some 70s disco. This track by Machine did a great job of washing all those nasty distorted guitars from our speakers and funking them back up again. The original cover for There But For The Grace Of God Go I has a sexy leg in hose and heels on a motorcycle (for some reason). The first remix pulls back from the view so we can see more of the babe on the bike. In the second a whole host of gorgeous girls have got on the bike. Time to ride...

In The Army Now - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo In Army Now Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo In Army Now Concluding our week of Status Quo cover remixes sent in by Mark Hodson of England is this for their 1980s album (and single of the same name) In The Army Now. The original cover shows, what presumably is meant to be the members of the band, in their ol' rag blues (denim jeans to you and me) raising the Union flag on a pole. As covers go, this scores highly as it includes both the band and some representation of what the song is about. Mr Hodson's remix shows a more intimate view of life in the army - presumably in this case the People's Liberation Army!

Thank you to Mr Hodson for all his work on the remixes of Status Quo covers he has sent us this week.

Don't Drive My Car - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Dont Drive Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Dont Drive In case you're wondering why we have had so many cover remixes of the English rock band Status Quo, it's because we received an e-mail from Mark Hodson who supplied us with enough album artwork to have a whole week of covers by the band. The original cover for Don't Drive My Car shows a leggy babe in stockings and a fur coat getting out of a car - not at all bad for a 1980s cover. Mr Hodson has updated this with what the cover would look like today. Gone are the stockings and fur coat!

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Ol Rag Blues Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Ol Rag Blues Our Status Quo week, brought to you courtesy of Mark Hodson of England moves into the 1980s with this remix of their song Ol' Rag Blues. Mr Hodson says that although it has always been fashionable to wear ripped denim, he feels that the original cover is now too 80s and that a modern version was needed. In the remixed cover we see a girl in her ripped denim who is, according to Mr Hodson, 'getting into the vibe of the music of the Quo'. If that's what their music does to babes wearing blue jeans, perhaps we should go to England to see them on tour.

Rain - Status Quo

Cover Artwork Remix of Status Quo Rain Original Cover Artwork of Status Quo Rain And another in this week's remixes of Status Quo songs sent in by Mark Hodson of England. In this one, Rain, Mr Hodson says:
In the song, the Quo sing that they can't live without the rain. Now we all know plants need rain, but for a rock band, there must be a different reason why rain is so attractive and in my remix I have shown why.

Ah, so the reason they can't live without the rain is because there's a naked chick lying on the floor being soaked by it. That makes complete sense.
