We always like to bring you something special for Halloween. This year it is the turn of Whodini and his spooky song, Freaks Come Out At Night. The original single cover artwork is lackluster, with the only indication of anything spooky being the fact that the words Whodini appears to have been written in blood, perhaps. On the remix we find a babe who is very freaky, and who has come out at night, out of her dress that is. Dark!

Bob Geldof deserves some points for the original front cover artwork of his album Sex, Age & Death, as it seems to depict someone potentially in the throes of sex. At it is a person, they must have an age, so two out of three. On the remix we find a babe who is in a graveyard and so fulfills the death part. As a person she also has an age, so that's also two out of three. She is sexy, so maybe that makes two and a half out of three. Match AllBum.Art!

You might not immediately associate Undercover Of The Night by The Rolling Stones to be a Halloween Hit but then if you think about it, being undercover of the night is exactly where ghouls and spooks hang out. On the original single front cover there is not much more than the famed logo of the tongue and lips. On the remix we find two vampire babes using the cover of the night to eat each other while resting in a coffin. Obviously!

The term Drop Dead Gorgeous, as sung for us here by Republica could mean many things. It could mean that a girl is so good looking that one look at her beauty would make you drop dead, such as the supposed beauty of Helen of Troy. Alternatively it could be a babe who is gorgeous, but has dropped dead - a kind of hot, sexy vampire if you like. Then again, vampires were meant to be attractive so as to lure their victims to their blood-curdling fate. And the drop dead gorgeous babe on the cover meets these requirements so you better be careful. Suck!

A Touch Of Grey, that is what Grateful Dead are singing about. To illustrate this, the original single front cover artwork has 6 skulls on it, though, oddly, not all of them are grey (some are a shade of brown). On the remix we have a mature lady whose hair has turned grey. She is covering up an area of her body which in many cases is renowned for being hairy, and if this was also grey, she would be touching grey. A touch of grey. You see how that works? Gray!

The 1970s were funny days. Hilarious in fact. The cover from (Don't Fear) The Reaper by the Blue Öyster Cult demonstrates this perfectly. What the hell is going on there then? Don't even begin to try and analyze it. Instead, use the remixed version in which we see two helpless girls who are sat in front of a grave with the reaper in the background. Do they fear him. It does not appear so. How do we know this? They are smiling (even perhaps giggling), are topless, are wearing silly outfits and one girl appears to be pulling the other's panties down. Fear. Nada.

Bow Wow Wow are back once again with their pseudo-Halloween hit, I Want Candy (with their begging bowls out). The rather scary looking lead singer and her spooky head-dress would definitely fit in at this time of year as, at least the way she has chosen to be depicted on the original front cover artwork. On the remix we find a babe who also likes candy, but who seems to want to wear it rather than collect it door-to-door to eat later. Bikini!

Another remix for The Jam with their song Absolute Beginners. On the original single front cover artwork, the absolute beginningness of the song is illustrated by smoky roof-tops. On the remix, we find five beginners. How can you tell they are beginners? It's it obvious? They have gone to a gym class and not one of them has remember to bring their full gym outfit with them. Some have tried harder than others. Fail!

What is A Question Of Lust? Well, it's obviously a single by Depeche Mode, but can the original cover artwork for the single help us to answer the question? Maybe it can, and the answer seems to be about kissing in a sensuous way but without allowing your lips to touch. The remix really doesn't do anything else to help with answering the question of lust, but does have a very lusty babe on it. Ditto!

The Herd have not found Paradise Lost, but seem, as far as the original front cover artwork goes, to have lost it. That is unless you consider red and pink clothing, leather jackets and flouncy shirts to count as paradise. On the remix we find a babe who is sitting on a tropical beach (or at least a mock-up of one) and who has had her paradise stolen by a cheeky sea bird of some kind. Maybe this is more paradise found than lost, depending on your perspective. Dunes!
