puressence walking dead remixpuressence walking dead 1As Halloween is just a week away, we thought we would bring you a whole week of Halloween remixes. Kicking off the week is Walking Dead by Puressence. The original cover for their single shows the back of a stone warthog (isn't that the one from Hogwarts?). But it's not walking and although it's made of stone, it is meant to represent a live warthog, not a dead one. On the remix we find a babe who has awoken from the dead and is walking out of the coffin where she normally resides. Spooky!

Moonlight Shadow - Mike Oldfield

mike oldfield moonlight shadow 2mike oldfield moonlight shadow 1Moonlight Shadow is what Mike Oldfield (occasionally shown as featuring Maggie Reilly) tells us about in his single. On the original cover, it is not clear whether the sea is being lit up by the moonlight or not. But on the remix, it is very clear that it is, indeed, the moon that is causing shadows to be cast over the rippling ocean, as a naked babe makes her way out to see what might well be a pirate ship. Ahoy!

A satanic triple-play from us good folk at AllBum.Art from none other than Neil Sedaka. On the original single cover artwork for Little Devil we find Mr Sedaka looking at something. He may be a little frightened, but with that sweater on, he might just be a bit hot. On the first remix we find a babe who is holding a very small devilish rubber duck in her hand but you can tell although he is little he is a devil, as he is pecking at her nipple ring. On the second remix we find a babe who has clearly been taken over by Beelzibub himself and is a devil in female form. She's not that little though. Size!

Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Junior

ray parker jr ghostbusters 1We think this is a first for us at AllBum.Art, three separate remixes of the same cover artwork. The simple fact is that it is Halloween and we wanted to mark the occasion with something special. Also, we found so many great spooky pictures that it seemed a shame to waste them, or to wait for another suitable occasion. Similarly, there are so many songs to choose from. We found a great list of Halloween Hits and decided to go for that 80s party classic, Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Junior. On the original cover we rightly see the logo for the movie of the same name. On the first remix we find two ghostly babes hanging about it the annals of a graveyard, or thereabouts. On the second remix we find a ghostly babe who, being semi-transparent, is clearly ethereal in her make-up. On the final remix we find a babe who would make a good addition to the ghostbusting team being, as she is, both busty and clearly capable of hanging around spooky green places with mystical smoke. Perdition!

So Cold The Night - The Communards

communards so cold the night remixcommunards so cold the night 1Can you sense the cold, wintery theme that is pervading AllBum.Art this January? Well you should! We continue this theme with a remix of So Cold The Night by The Communards. The original cover of the single shows what can only be assumed to be a cold night sky, though given the pink tinge to the clouds it is more a cold sunrise/sunset sky. The remix shows just how cold the night is. Not only is there snow falling, but it is so cold that body warmth must be conserved by staying close. Especially if you have no clothes on. Fahrenheit!

Better The Devil You Know - Sonia

sonia better the devil remixsonia better the devil 1And so to Halloween itself, October 31. And what have we chosen to remix today? An obscure song called Better The Devil You Know by British babe Sonia. The song is about as cheery and bubblegum as it gets, which is what makes it such a good target for a remix. In the original cover we see Sonia standing in front of the British flag. Why? Because apparently this was an entry for a European song contest. In the remix we see a babe, but we don't see the devil she knows who is off to the left of the shot and is trying to poke her ass with his trident. She seems happy enough about it which is why she is willing to stick with the devil she knows. Lucifer!

I'm Not Scared - Eighth Wonder Featuring Patsy Kensit

eighth wonder im not scared remixeighth wonder im not scared 1Only one more day until Halloween but Eighth Wonder Featuring Patsy Kensit are not the least bit concerned. At least Ms Kensit isn't as she sings I'm Not Scared. She does look a little scared on the cover of the single though so in the remix she has been replaced by a woman who is evidently not scared at all. She is carrying a cross to ward off evil spirits. It looks like the evil spirits may have gotten to her first though as most of her clothes seem to have fallen off. Invisible!

jethro tull witchs promise remixjethro tull witchs promise 1What is it that the Witch's Promised Jethro Tull? To look really stupid wearing cowboy outfits in a field? They obviously upset her somehow. In the remix we see the witches convening a coven to decide what to do next. If only they had allowed Jethro to use a picture of their coven it might have improved the cover. A witches coven convening cover. Oh, wait, they have in the remix. Dolly!

Devil Woman - Cliff Richard

cliff richard devil woman 2cliff richard devil woman 1Another remix for Cliff Richard but this time with a Halloween theme. Mr Richard sings about a Devil Woman, but the cover of his single shows only Mr Richard singing about a devil woman. There's no indication of who the woman might be or what about her it is that makes her so devilish. In the remix we see the devil woman. She is clearly a woman and has horns, which must be why Mr Richard thought she was Ms Satan. Sadly for Mr Richard, it's just a dressing up outfit and Ms Satan is probably an angel in disguise. Presley!

Evil Woman - Electric Light Orchestra

elo evil woman remixelo evil woman 1Ooh, an Evil Woman. That's what the Electric Light Orchestra are singing about. Sadly, the cover of their single shows a load of hirsute 1970s style men. Oh, you mean that's the band themselves - should have guessed. The remix shows a very evil woman. So evil in fact that she only needs to wear a hat and some black lipstick to show the extent of her evilness. Don't get too close as you might end up in a great deal of trouble. Warning!
