Cover Artwork Remix of Timelords Doctorin The Tardis Original Cover Artwork of Timelords Doctorin The Tardis Continuing the outer space theme from yesterday a bit, here's a remix of Doctorin' The Tardis by The Timelords. The original cover has a car that claims to be a Ford Timelord, and also claims to have made a record. On the remix we find the tardis (a British police box for the uninitiated) with a guy and a busy babe standing in front of it. Is the doctor in the tardis? Isn't he not always never on the outer inside? Mystery!

Some Girls - Racey

Cover Artwork Remix of Racey Some Girls Original Cover Artwork of Racey Some Girls Oh dear. Where do we begin with the cover artwork for Some Girls by Racey? It is another of those 'let's showcase the good looking band members' types of cover (we really should coin a term for such covers) and is lacking in two very important respects:
  1. It's not in any way racey. And,
  2. There isn't even one girl, let alone some girls on the cover.
The remix solves both these problems as there are now some girls on the cover, and being the racey type, they appear to be bare. Vroom!

Class/Style (I've Got It) - Linda Lewis

Cover Artwork Remix of Linda Lewis Class Style Original Cover Artwork of Linda Lewis Class Style Linda Lewis tells us that Class/Style (I've Got It). Probably, for the 1980s, her denim jacket and pearl necklace and earrings were the height of style and class, but we aren't so sure. On the remix we find a babe in a hat, lacy panties and high heels which we think looks far more classy and stylish, in a minimalist kind of way. Even if it's not class or style, she's certainly got it! Ravishing!

Cover Artwork Remix of Philip Lynott Yellow Pearl Original Cover Artwork of Philip Lynott Yellow Pearl Famously the lead singer with Thin Lizzy, Yellow Pearl is a solo outing for Philip Lynott. On the original single cover artwork we find Mr Lynott looking all rock and roll with his electric guitar, his cowboy boots and his fuzzy mop of a haircut. On the remix we find a babe who is a pearl of a girl, wearing yellow boots. A yellow pearl, as the contraction goes. Recline!

Stop This Crazy Thing - Coldcut

Cover Artwork Remix of Coldcut Stop This Crazy Thing Original Cover Artwork of Coldcut Stop This Crazy Thing Our instructions from Coldcut (Featuring Junior Reid & The Ahead Of Our Time Orchestra) is to Stop This Crazy Thing. The original single front cover artwork suggests that the crazy thing that needs stopping is some kind of wooden Godzilla intent on crushing the planet in its teeth. On the remix we find an even crazier thing, in the form of a babe who has clearly gone stark raving mad (and almost stark raving naked too). Help!

Warm Wet Circles - Marillion

Cover Artwork Remix of Marillion Warm Wet Circles Original Cover Artwork of Marillion Warm Wet Circles Two of our X-Rated remixes on two consecutive days. It must be the time of year for it. Today is is the turn of Marillion and their song Warm Wet Circles. Now we are not sure what you think of when you consider the notion of warm wet circles, but on the original single cover artwork it seems that the band thought that glass with a bullet through it, someone crying blood and a man with a lipstick kiss on his head would do it. Not so on the remix where we find a babe peeing and creating warm wet semi-circles. Well it's half way there. Diameter!

Orange Crush - R.E.M.

Cover Artwork Remix of Rem Orange Crush Original Cover Artwork of Rem Orange Crush R.E.M. are regaling us again with their melancholy tones. However, the original single cover artwork for Orange Crush does not provide us with any clue as to what is orange and what is being crushed, whatsoever. On the remix we find a babe dress in orange stockings holding a fierce looking whip. We sense that she could crush anyone quite easily by whacking them, or maybe just walking all over them in her high heels. Mandarin!

Dreaming - Glen Goldsmith

Cover Artwork Remix of Glen Goldsmith Dreaming Original Cover Artwork of Glen Goldsmith Dreaming It may well be the case that Glen Goldsmith is (or was) in a dreamy mood when he posed for the picture on the original single cover artwork of Dreaming, but it's not that apparent from his gaze. On the remix we find a babe lounging on a chair, eyes closed, feet in the air, and as far as we can tell she is dreamy, or dreaming, or even day-dreaming. In the end it probably doesn't matter as she could be the subject of many dreams, dry or wet. Sleepy!

Can You Handle It - Sharon Redd

Cover Artwork Remix of Sharon Redd Can You Handle It Original Cover Artwork of Sharon Redd Can You Handle It Some songs beg a good remix purely for asking questions that are then not fully answered by the cover of the single, and this is one of those. The cover for Can You Handle It by Sharon Redd shows Ms Redd, but fails to address the question of what it is that we have to determine can, or can not, be handled. The remix shows a brunette asking (you can tell she is puzzled through the look in her eyes), a blonde, whether she can handle it. It seems the blonde herself has a lot to handle but the brunette has even more. Question!

Love Is A Stranger - Eurythmics

Cover Artwork Remix of Eurythmics Love Is A Stranger Original Cover Artwork of Eurythmics Love Is A Stranger We have taken a little poetic license in producing the remix of Love Is A Stranger by the Eurythmics. In replacing the two weird looking singers of the band, we have used an image that would more accurately fit if the title was 'love is stranger', as we find a babe whose boobs appear constricted, wearing shoes with such a high heel that she couldn't possibly walk any distance in them, having her leg examined by a guy in a black mask. Stranger!
