thin lizzy whisky in the jar remixxthin lizzy whisky in the jar 1Yesterday we remixed a single by Philip Lynott the guitarist and lead singer of Thin Lizzy and today it is the turn of the band themselves and their song Whisky In The Jar (note there is no 'e' in Whisky as they are obviously drinking Scotch, not Irish Whiskey, which is odd given the heritage of the band). Anyway, on the original cover we find the band members staring out at us from under their 70's mustaches and frizzy hair cuts. On the remix (one of our rare 'XXX-Rated Remixes') we find a babe who has put a bottle of whiskey in her jar (well that's one name for it anyway). Slurp!

Have You Seen Her - Chi-Lites

chi lites have you seen her remixchi lites have you seen her 1Today The Chi-Lites ask us the question Have You Seen Her? Equally we could as the question, has she seen you? How do we know we could ask this question. Because on the remixed single cover artwork we find a babe who is clearly looking for something or someone and could well be the lost babe that the band are searching for. Maybe if they had gone looking rather than standing for a picture of themselves with their instruments they may have had more luck locating her. Discovery!

suzi quatro tear me apart remixxsuzi quatro tear me apart 1One in our rare and occasional series of X-rated remixes that we call remi-XXX-es. On the original single cover artwork for Tear Me Apart by Suzi Quatro, we find her screeching into a microphone whilst holding an electric guitar. Why this would tear anyone apart is unclear. On the remix we find a babe who is literally tearing herself apart by spreading herself so widely that a few more inches and she would break into two distinct yet symmetric pieces. Probably!

awb queen of my soul remixawb queen of my soul 1Another remix for the Average White Band, this time for their single Queen Of My Soul. On the original single cover artwork, we can see the band members looking at something, but what it is that they are smiling at. On the remix we see the object of their attention, it is, of course, the queen of their souls who has a fancy tiara and necklace but other than those and her gloves, has forgotten her other regal regalia. Ballgown!

Dr Love - Tina Charles

tina charles dr love remixtina charles dr love 1Feeling unwell in the love department? At a loss how to cure a broken heart? You need the services of Dr Love (or at least that is what Tina Charles should have sung). The question is whether Ms Charles appears in one of these predicaments on the cover of her single. Perhaps she does as she is looking a little forlorn. On the remix we find Dr Love in action, using his advanced medical skills to try and cure a babe of her illness. That, or he's just an old lech. Cure!

Get Down - Gene Chandler

gene chandler get down 2gene chandler get down 1Yeah, baby, Get Down on that funk-jive master-beat. At least that's how radio DJs of the 1970s introduced Gene Chandler's single. The original cover has the heel of a high heel shoe and what might be a pair of glasses, or a bra (it's difficult to tell) silhouetted against a deep red and pink background. All we, at AllBum.Art have done is added in a bunny girl getting down, or at least bending down to remove her panties. How's that for 1970s funk-jive? Down-pop!

A Glass Of Champagne - Sailor

sailor a glass of champagne 2sailor a glass of champagne 1Not the first remix for Sailor as it turns out, but this time it's for A Glass Of Champagne. On the original cover we find the band looking somewhat like sailors but with no apparent connection to any kind of Champagne. On the remix the band are gone, as are any nautical connotations, but instead we find a babe drinking a glass of the fizzy stuff from France. Bubbly!

10cc im mandy fly me 210cc im mandy fly me 1How better to continue our series of remixes to do with flying than with this classic song from 10cc entitled I'm Mandy Fly Me. On the original cover we find the band strumming their instruments and strutting their stuff. On the remix we find a babe, presumably the aforementioned Mandy, who is clearly a woman that enjoys aircraft as we find her lounging seductively in the engine housing. We think she should probably move before the pilot gets in the plane, maybe it's him that's flying her. Cowling!

Jet Airliner - Steve Miller Band

steve miller band jet airliner 2steve miller band jet airliner 1Yes, we're still remixing songs connected with flying, and today it's Jet Airliner by the Steve Miller Band. The original cover shows Mr Miller singing with his guitar. But where is the jet airliner? Obviously it's in the remix! It's a DC9 and wouldn't you know it but there's a stewardess climbing the stairs to the door. It's breezy and the wind has blown her skirt up to reveal her ass, or is that the pilot stepping on the gas for the engine to the same end. Accelerate!

Flying High - Commodores

commodores flying high 2commodores flying high 1Flying High is what the Commodores are doing. Or more accurately, if the cover artwork is to be believed, it is the band's logo that is actually soaring above the ground. The remix is simple yet effective, it shows a hot babe flying high over a city, sitting in a helicopter. She needs to be careful as she does not appear to be wearing the correct protective gear, and worse still, in the heels she is wearing she could easily trip and fall - which is particularly dangerous at 10,000 ft. Parachute!
