tlc waterfalls remixtlc waterfalls 1What would you expect to see on the cover of a single called Waterfalls? Would it be three dudettes dressed in baggy clothes presented in a cartoon stylee? Well the three dudettes on the original cover are meant to be the members of the band TLC whose song it is. But where's the wet? The water? The falling? The remixed artwork answers these questions as we see three babettes standing underneath what looks for all the world like a waterfall. And it looks like a chilly one too. Splosh!

Laughter In The Rain - Neil Sedaka

neil sedaka laughter in the rain remixneil sedaka laughter in the rain 1Another in our ongoing 'rain' series... In the song Laughter In The Rain, Neil Sedaka tells us that he is walking hand-in-hand with the one he loves. On the cover, though, he is just sitting around in a very fetching 1970s shirt that has clearly been nowhere near any rain, nor is there any sign of him having fun or holding hands. In the remix, these errors are corrected and though Mr Sedaka is no longer visible, there are two babes hand-in-hand walking through the rain and they seem to be having a good time, or at least they have had a good time as evident from the wine they are drinking and the fact that all their clothes have fallen off. Drenched!

I Wish It Would Rain Down - Phil Collins

phil collins wish it would rain down 2phil collins wish it would rain down 1Continuing in the 'rain' series, here's a remix of I Wish It Would Rain Down by Phil Collins. On the original single cover we see Mr Collins looking like he was hoping to go on a picnic but that the rain stopped him and he's irked. Now the shame of it is that on the remix we can see what awaited him at the picnic had he bothered to get a plastic mac and head out into the storm. Anyone got a picnic basket they don't mind getting wet? Yogi!

travis love will come through 2travis love will come through 1Here we are again with another dreary song by Travis. And accompanying their melancholy, downbeat performance is the cover of a single that could have been made by a 10 year old with no idea of art. Thankfully the remix shows something more akin to the ethos of the song. A sexy babe in a see through dress. Does her love come through? It certainly looks like it does. Opaque!

travis why does it always rain on me remixtravis why does it always rain on me 1Yes, summer is well and truly over. The sun has gone and the dreary rainy days are settling in. And what better way to not enjoy a dreary rainy day than to listen to a dreary song about rainy days. To the rescue is Scottish band Travis and their dreary song Why Does It Always Rain On Me. Perhaps it's because the covers of your singles are so dreary? The remix - well that's dreary too but at least you get to see a drawing of a babe in stockings. Torrential!

Sunrise - Ashiva

ashiva sunrise remixashiva sunrise 1Well it's nearly over. 'What is?', you ask. The summer of course. Yes, today is the last day of summer and we've brought you many a summer sizzler over the season. We conclude the summer with Sunrise by Ashiva. The original cover is just awful, truly awful. Who thought that some words and a logo on a red background would be a good look? Right! So we at AllBum.Art got our remixing head on and produced, well, the remix. A babe, on a beach, at sunrise. Ain't that the best way to end the summer? Ebb!

My Favourite Waste Of Time - Owen Paul

owen paul waste of time remixowen paul waste of time 1Your my Favorite Waste Of Time, sang Owen Paul back in the 1980s when songs didn't need to make sense. From the cover of the single, what can we surmise? It seems like the waste of time that Mr Paul is singing about is going down to the cineplex and watching a movie about two people holding hands in the sunset on a beach. Fine with us, but how's about if those two people are a bit sexier, would that be OK with your 80s sensibilities Mr Paul? Pointless!

dj encore engelina i see right through to you remixdj encore engelina i see right through to you 1A reader submitted entry from Hemming Feddersen of Denmark. Apparently I See Right Through To You was the theme tune to the Danish version of Big Brother. No doubt DJ Encore Featuring Engelina made some capital from that old chestnut. Hemming tells us:
It's all very smart. The song has some good picture, so nice picture of seeing through to girl of clothes is best. Seeing-through to you!

Yeah, not quite right there Hemming but we get what you mean. Hoogly!

The Goombay Dance Band, who could possibly forget them? Except everyone, la? This remix is a special request for someone we will just call JQ - he knows who he is. Initially we thought Seven Tears, perhaps we could do a large wedding cake and claim we thought the title was seven tiers? But that wouldn't involve lots of hot babes. So there are two remixes for you, one features seven babes in sexy lingerie that would bring a tear to anyone. The second includes seven naked girls, one of who is being held up by the other, in a kind of a tiered fashion. Or no fashion. Alright for you JQ? Garble!

boney m rivers of babylon remixboney m rivers of babylon brown girl in the ring 1By the Rivers Of Babylon is where you will find Boney M. Hey, just hang on a cotton-picking minute, isn't this the same single cover that you remixed yesterday? Well, yes it surely is. But the cover was a double A-side and so today we are remixing the other side of the single, that OK for you? Certainly is Stanley. Back to business and on the remix we see a cute baby by a river. A river with a baby on? It's near enough for poetic license. Ode!
