ambrose the sun has got his hat on 2ambrose the sun has got his hat on 1As if yesterday's remix wasn't going far enough back in time, we delve even deeper into the depths for today's. The Sun Has Got His Hat on was performed by Ambrose And His Orchestra in, wait for it, 1932! The original cover shows a pin-up girl of the era on a beach holding her sun hat so as to cover her particulars. The remix shows much the same thing, just zazzed up to be more 21st century. Hip hip hip hooray!

Lollipop - The Chordettes

chordettes lollipop 2chordettes lollipop 1Lollipop, lollipop, ooh lolly-lolly-lolly... For this song we are going way back in time to the 1950s, but it's a song that makes as much sense now as it did then. The Chordettes sang lollipop, and from the looks of the cover artwork of their single, they did so whilst sitting in the rear of an open-top Ford. Such a classic song deserves a classic remix and so the remixed cover features a babe doing guess what... sucking a lollipop. In a skimpy top. Slurp!

Summertime Blues - Eddie Cochran

eddie cochran summertime blues 2eddie cochran summertime blues 1There ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues, at least according to Eddie Cochran there ain't. But that might be because Mr Cochran chooses to ignore what is going on behind him. As he stares forlornly into the distance, guitar in his hand, it seems he has completely neglected to notice that in the setting sun purple haze behind him appears to be a naked babe standing on a beach. Crazy!

jerry keller here comes summer 2jerry keller here comes summer 1Though this song was in the charts before any of us here at AllBum.Art were born, it still does a great job of instilling a summery vibe. Here Comes Summer by Jerry Keller is just the kind of song you need on the radio on a sunny day at the beginning of the summer to get you in the mood for the days ahead. The remix sets the mood even better with a babe, in a bikini, in the sun. Now that's the kind of summer we're hoping for this year! Sizzling!

Summertime - Ella Fitzgerald And Louis Armstrong

ellla louis summertime remixellla louis summertime 1What would summer be without Summertime appearing on the radio at some point or other? Depending on whether you listen to Hot [insert number] or Easy [insert different number] will determine which version you hear but this classic from 1957 by Ella Fitzgerald And Louis Armstrong transcends radio formats (well mostly). Although it's nice to see a picture of Ella and Louis together, what makes summertime really great are beach babes. So the remix transcends all beach babe boundaries. Stretchy!

Hey, Good Lookin' - Hank Williams

hank williams hey good lookin 2hank williams hey good lookin 1Hey, Good Lookin' may be a single released by Hank Williams in 1951 but can still be heard on many a mid-west radio station and in karaoke bars across the nation to this day. This is because the title produces images of a good lookin' woman, and such images are timeless. Sadly the original cover doesn't produce such an image. The remix does though and answers the question on the second line of the song, 'what you got cookin'? To which the answer seems to be a raspberry tart...

elvis presley jailhouse rock 2elvis presley jailhouse rock 1Well it's a one for the money, a two for the show, a three to get ready but hey just a cotton picking minute that's not the Elvis Presley song that's being remixed here. No, this is a remix of Jailhouse Rock, the original cover of which sees Mr Presley rocking nothing in particular. The remix shows two sexy babes who bring a new meaning to jailbirds, one that includes short skirts, stockings and a ball on an ankle chain. Keep it locked!

Blue Moon - Elvis Presley

elvis presley blue moon remixelvis presley blue moon 1Following the theme of songs with 'moon' in their title is the 1956 classic Blue Moon by none other than Elvis Presley. The original cover shows a handsome Mr Presley but no indication of what the song has got to do with the moon, though the style of the record could be said to be based on the blues. The remix shows a sexy woman mooning at us and why, if it ain't a pair of blue bloomers she's a-wearin'!

Reet Petite - Jackie Wilson

jackie wilson reet petite remixjackie wilson reet petite 1Reet Petite is a 1957 song (re-released in the mid 1980s) by Jackie Wilson, known the world over for the rolling-R's of Mr Wilson's p-r-r-r-onunciation. The original cover shows Mr Wilson in various different dancing positions but shows no sign of the petite person of whom he sings. The remix shows is none other than Reet herself (assuming that is her name) who is very petite, indeed some might say flat-chested. Others might not bother and just enjoy the view!

Short Shorts - The Royal Teens

royal teens short shorts remixroyal teens short shorts 1Who wears Short Shorts? That's the question that The Royal Teens were asking back in 1957 (that's officially a long time ago). Although the song is obviously meant to describe the wearing of particularly skimpy shorts, the cover, which features the band, does not help visualize the shorts in question. The remixed cover, on the other hand, does. The shorts being worn by the two hot babes in the remix are made even shorter by the fact that they are compressed in the hands as they are being pulled down. Who wears short shorts? Not them for much longer...
