steve miller band jet airliner 2steve miller band jet airliner 1Yes, we're still remixing songs connected with flying, and today it's Jet Airliner by the Steve Miller Band. The original cover shows Mr Miller singing with his guitar. But where is the jet airliner? Obviously it's in the remix! It's a DC9 and wouldn't you know it but there's a stewardess climbing the stairs to the door. It's breezy and the wind has blown her skirt up to reveal her ass, or is that the pilot stepping on the gas for the engine to the same end. Accelerate!

Flying High - Commodores

commodores flying high 2commodores flying high 1Flying High is what the Commodores are doing. Or more accurately, if the cover artwork is to be believed, it is the band's logo that is actually soaring above the ground. The remix is simple yet effective, it shows a hot babe flying high over a city, sitting in a helicopter. She needs to be careful as she does not appear to be wearing the correct protective gear, and worse still, in the heels she is wearing she could easily trip and fall - which is particularly dangerous at 10,000 ft. Parachute!

Jet - Paul McCartney And Wings

paul mccartney and wings jet remixpaul mccartney and wings jet 1Is there any more obvious a song to remix the cover artwork for when delving into songs about flying than Jet by Paul McCartney And Wings. Not only is the title of the song all aerospatial, but the name of the band is associated with being in the air too. On the original cover we see the clouds over which the jet may be flying. On the remix we come back down to Earth to take a look at the jet before it takes off, and this one, it seems, comes replete with a rather sexy air stewardess. Hostess!

Benny And The Jets - Elton John

elton john benny and the jets 2elton john benny and the jets 1There seems to be a little confusion concerning whether this song is entitled Benny And The Jets, or Bennie And The Jets (the Wikipedia entry for the song has both as being correct). Anyhow, Elton John kicked up another storm with the original cover of this single because where is Benny (or Bennie)? And what are the jets? Our remix remedies these two issues as we find that Benny (or Bennie) is in fact a busty babe and the jets, well what would you expect in our series of flying based remixes, but that it was a private jet of some kind. Buckle up!

Pool Hall Richard - The Faces

faces pool hall richard remixfaces pool hall richard 1Who is Pool Hall Richard? Sadly, we may never know as The Faces chose to display a silhouette of the band members on the cover of their single instead of aiding us by answering the question. In the remix, the answer is still no clearer, but what we do learn is that there seems to be a hot babe sitting on the pool table with her panties around her ankles and naught more than her high heels on. What we therefore learn, is that Richard has great taste in babes. Eight ball!

Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band

starland vocal band afternoon delight 2starland vocal band afternoon delight 1Looking for a little Afternoon Delight, that is what the Starland Vocal Band were trying to do but sadly the cover of their single fails to do this in any satisfactory way. A yellow lion hardly portrays a time of day, let alone an associated emotion. The remix fixed this with a group of ladies sitting around drinking afternoon tea. Why they are largely naked is unknown, but those Brits can be very weird at times, don't you know? Spiffing!

In The Bush - Musique

musique in the bush remixmusique in the bush 1It's nice, sometimes, to be able to bring you remixes of tracks where even the original artwork is rare. Today it's the turn of Musique and their single In The Bush. It appears there are several meanings of the word 'bush' and on the original cover it seems to mean 'piece of land in the middle of nowhere' (as in the Australian bush). On the remix the meaning has been changed to 'hairy female parts' and we find a babe who has, for some reason, let her bush grow and then put her clothes over it, in her bush so to speak. Outback!

Smokin' In The Boy's Room - Brownsville Station

brownsville station smoking in the boys room remixbrownsville station smoking in the boys room 1Brownsville Station don't tell us anything of value with the picture on the cover of their single Smokin' In The Boy's Room (which, we note from a pedantic perspective, with the apostrophe so positioned refers to a room that belongs to just one boy - had it been a room belonging to multiple boys, the apostrophe should have been at the end of the word, e.g. Boys'). Anyhow in the remix we find out who it was that was doing the smoking in the room belonging to one boy: it was a babe, and a topless one at that (no surprises there then). Exhale!

Hello This Is Joanie - Paul Evans

paul evans hello this is joanie remixpaul evans hello this is joanie 1Hello This Is Joanie (subtitled The Telephone Answering Machine Song) deserves to get Paul Evans a vote for one of the most tantalizingly dull single covers ever. Instead of showing us who Joanie is, he insists on just showing us the other end of the phone line. We, however, have managed to find a picture of Joanie making the call, and wouldn't you know it, she's a hot babe standing around naked in a phone box. Now it becomes clear why he is so intent on leaving a message on her voicemail. Hello indeed!

Making Up Again - Goldie

goldie making up again remixgoldie making up again 1Will you look at that now? Goldie are telling us that they are Making Up Again. Does that mean that they have fallen out with each other? If their sullen faces on the original single cover artwork are anything to go by, that may well be the truth. On the remix we find a babe who is having her make-up done again, or at least touched up. Oddly both her and the girl applying the make-up are topless. Maybe the shipment of fashion from Milan is running late. Cambio!
