On the remix is roughly the same scene, rotated through 90 degrees, with Mr Jackson replaced by another babe, and with the lights turned up. Could it be any clearer?

When receiving a request such as that from Norah Jones, which is to say that she has given the instruction to Turn Me On, we immediately think of light-bulbs, don't you? It seems, however, that on the original single cover artwork, Ms Jones has only thought of the title of the song, and her signature. That is why we remix these things you know. And on the remix we find a whole load of light-bulbs and a babe who we would also turn on if the bulbs failed. Switch!

What marks an Up-Town Up-Tempo Woman? According to the original single cover artwork, Randy Edelman thinks it is the wearing of yellow stiletto shoes whilst standing on a California license plate. We think differently and on the remix you find a babe who is up-town (or down-town, it's difficult to tell) and whose dancing is as up-tempo as it could ever need to be, when you are just wearing a see-through bikini. Cityscape!

A chilled out remix of the George Benson classic Give Me The Night is the subject of today's remix from Randy Crawford, which is a single from her album Naked And True. So on the artwork you would expect something maybe a little more naked and nightly than a smiling Ms Crawford, not matter how nice that might be. On the remix, therefore, we find a babe who is enjoying the night and is also naked, so this remix not only reflects the single, but it's parent album too. Inherited!

We like The Headquarters take on what constitutes being a Sweetie. On their original cover artwork they have a sweet babe and have cleverly used the text on the cover to conceal her sweetest parts. The remix does little to improve upon this, it just modernizes the single with a more up-to-date sweetie whose sweet bits are covered by her hair, her hands and the text of the record. Could it be any more modern? Seventies!

Another remix for Stevie Wonder, this time for his 1966 hit Up-Tight (Everything's Alright). On the original single cover artwork we find Mr Wonder playing harmonica, drums and piano (and presumably also singing), but what is tight about this? On the remix we find a babe who is very tightly strung being, as she is, laced up an a tight fitting corset and a matching skirt. Everything's alright!

We don't know whether or not we agree with Ze Popes about what constitutes Sexy Pyjamas. On the original cover artwork of their single, their notion of what sexy pyjamas entails consists of a curvy lady bending over in a clingy night dress. On the one hand this is quite sexy, on the other it's a bit pedestrian. On the remix, therefore, we find a babe in alternative nightwear which we know is destined to be worn in bed because she is lying on one, ready to fall asleep. Sexier?

Another remix for those Scottish heartthrobs Wet Wet Wet. On the original single cover artwork for their single Angel Eyes, the only indication that there have been any eyes is the mask which may have been covering them. Maybe an angel called into a party and didn't want to be recognized so she put a mask over her eyes. But surely her wings would have been a dead giveaway? On the remix we find we are staring into the eyes of an angel. No mask required. Iris!

Cheri is Star Struck. So much so that on the original cover artwork of her single she has forgotten to provide any information or details of what this might look like. On the remix we find a babe wearing a silver dress and looking star struck against a background of stars, could it be any more striking in a star-related kind of way. Yes! The weird silver wig adds another layer of starry strikedness. Cadet!

Could there be a better song name for a remix of the cover artwork than Bra by Cymande? It's just asking to be re-made, especially as the original cover shows a guy wearing a winter hat with a dove sat on his head. The remix shows what the name of the song says it should show, a bra, and one that is being amply filled by a babe. A babe who is sat by a roaring fire which is probably important, otherwise she might be a little chilly in only her bra. Brassière!
