Up-Town Up-Tempo Woman - Randy Edelman

Cover Artwork Remix of Randy Edelman Uptown Uptempo Woman Original Cover Artwork of Randy Edelman Uptown Uptempo Woman What marks an Up-Town Up-Tempo Woman? According to the original single cover artwork, Randy Edelman thinks it is the wearing of yellow stiletto shoes whilst standing on a California license plate. We think differently and on the remix you find a babe who is up-town (or down-town, it's difficult to tell) and whose dancing is as up-tempo as it could ever need to be, when you are just wearing a see-through bikini. Cityscape!

Give Me The Night - Randy Crawford

Cover Artwork Remix of Randy Crawford Give Me The Night Original Cover Artwork of Randy Crawford Give Me The Night A chilled out remix of the George Benson classic Give Me The Night is the subject of today's remix from Randy Crawford, which is a single from her album Naked And True. So on the artwork you would expect something maybe a little more naked and nightly than a smiling Ms Crawford, not matter how nice that might be. On the remix, therefore, we find a babe who is enjoying the night and is also naked, so this remix not only reflects the single, but it's parent album too. Inherited!

Sweetie - The Headquarters

Cover Artwork Remix of The Headquarters Sweetie Original Cover Artwork of The Headquarters Sweetie We like The Headquarters take on what constitutes being a Sweetie. On their original cover artwork they have a sweet babe and have cleverly used the text on the cover to conceal her sweetest parts. The remix does little to improve upon this, it just modernizes the single with a more up-to-date sweetie whose sweet bits are covered by her hair, her hands and the text of the record. Could it be any more modern? Seventies!

Up-Tight - Stevie Wonder

Cover Artwork Remix of Stevie Wonder Up Tight Original Cover Artwork of Stevie Wonder Up Tight Another remix for Stevie Wonder, this time for his 1966 hit Up-Tight (Everything's Alright). On the original single cover artwork we find Mr Wonder playing harmonica, drums and piano (and presumably also singing), but what is tight about this? On the remix we find a babe who is very tightly strung being, as she is, laced up an a tight fitting corset and a matching skirt. Everything's alright!

Sexy Pyjamas - Ze Popes

Cover Artwork Remix of Ze Popes Sexy Pyjamas Original Cover Artwork of Ze Popes Sexy Pyjamas We don't know whether or not we agree with Ze Popes about what constitutes Sexy Pyjamas. On the original cover artwork of their single, their notion of what sexy pyjamas entails consists of a curvy lady bending over in a clingy night dress. On the one hand this is quite sexy, on the other it's a bit pedestrian. On the remix, therefore, we find a babe in alternative nightwear which we know is destined to be worn in bed because she is lying on one, ready to fall asleep. Sexier?

Angel Eyes - Wet Wet Wet

Cover Artwork Remix of Wet Wet Wet Angel Eyes Original Cover Artwork of Wet Wet Wet Angel Eyes Another remix for those Scottish heartthrobs Wet Wet Wet. On the original single cover artwork for their single Angel Eyes, the only indication that there have been any eyes is the mask which may have been covering them. Maybe an angel called into a party and didn't want to be recognized so she put a mask over her eyes. But surely her wings would have been a dead giveaway? On the remix we find we are staring into the eyes of an angel. No mask required. Iris!

Star Struck - Cheri

Cover Artwork Remix of Cheri Star Struck Original Cover Artwork of Cheri Star Struck Cheri is Star Struck. So much so that on the original cover artwork of her single she has forgotten to provide any information or details of what this might look like. On the remix we find a babe wearing a silver dress and looking star struck against a background of stars, could it be any more striking in a star-related kind of way. Yes! The weird silver wig adds another layer of starry strikedness. Cadet!

Bra - Cymande

Cover Artwork Remix of Cymande Bra Original Cover Artwork of Cymande Bra Could there be a better song name for a remix of the cover artwork than Bra by Cymande? It's just asking to be re-made, especially as the original cover shows a guy wearing a winter hat with a dove sat on his head. The remix shows what the name of the song says it should show, a bra, and one that is being amply filled by a babe. A babe who is sat by a roaring fire which is probably important, otherwise she might be a little chilly in only her bra. Brassière!

Rockin' For Myself - Motiv8

Cover Artwork Remix of Motiv 8 Rockin For Myself Original Cover Artwork of Motiv 8 Rockin For Myself Motiv8 (clever use of a number to replace the end of a word, but note that it only works in English - Motiv-Huit or Motive-Acht just don't cut it) and their single Rockin' For Myself are the subject of today's remix. But what, who and lots of other questions relating to the rocking and the myself are missing on the original cover artwork which tells us precisely nothing (other than the artists that prepared it had little imagination). On the remix we find a babe who is rocking by herself with no help from anyone else. Touche!

Dancing Shoes - September

Cover Artwork Remix of September Dancing Shoes Original Cover Artwork of September Dancing Shoes Would you know it, September has an album with the same name as a single we remixed back in March by Dev, called Dancing Shoes. And once again, the original cover artwork lacks one essential detail. That is that the picture of Ms Marklund (for that is her real name) has been cropped above her ankles and we are at a loss to know what her dancing shoes look like. On the remix we find a babe who appears to be twerking in her dancing shoes which are black high-heel stiletto shoes. That is all she is dancing in though, as she has neglected the rest of her outfit. Silly girl!
