Cover Artwork Remix of Phil Collins Something Happened On The Way To Heaven Original Cover Artwork of Phil Collins Something Happened On The Way To Heaven Another angelic remix from AllBum.Art as we find out that Something Happened On The Way To Heaven. According to the original cover artwork, what seems to have happened is that some old codger got grumpy. Perhaps that could happen on the way to heaven, but in the remix, a more plausible story is told. It seems that an angel has lost her way and has fallen from the realms and become more demonic. Mixed!

Lay Your Hands On Me - Bon Jovi

Cover Artwork Remix of Bon Jovi Lay Your Hands On Me Original Cover Artwork of Bon Jovi Lay Your Hands On Me Not the first remix of a piece of cover artwork for Bon Jovi. This time it is his 1989 single Lay Your Hands On Me. Quite how the picture of Mr Jovi on the original cover of the single is meant either to represent the laying on of hands, or enticing you in to wanting to lay your hands on him is unclear. In the remix we see a practical example of laying on of hands which is equally representational and enticing in equal measure. Grab!

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida - Iron Butterfly

Cover Artwork Remix of Iron Butterfly Garden Of Eden Original Cover Artwork of Iron Butterfly Garden Of Eden In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is, as every Iron Butterfly fan knows, just a corruption of the phrase, 'in the garden of Eden'. The original cover of the album (and single) do nothing to portray the biblical scene that you would normally associate with the garden of Eden. Thankfully, this has been corrected in the remix as we see a girl wearing what most people would agree was what Eve wore, and doing what most people believe Eve did, a.k.a. taking an apple from a tree. Biblical!

Cover Artwork Remix of Vengaboys Skinny Dippin Original Cover Artwork of Vengaboys Skinny Dippin A user submitted entry from Pim Weermuizje from the Netherlands. Pim has sent us his remix of Skinny Dippin' by Vengaboys. Pim tells us that this was actually a B-side, but was very popular nonetheless. The original cover sees the Vengaboys (of which at least 2 appear to be girls) posing by a swimming pool. The remix shows a guy in the sea and a girl getting undressed, both about to go dippin in a skinny fashion. Thank Pim. Hydration!

Girl From Mars - Ash

Cover Artwork Remix of Ash Girl From Mars Original Cover Artwork of Ash Girl From Mars What does a Girl From Mars look like? According to Ash, on the cover of their single, she is green with red lipstick. Other than that, she seems quite normal. That is, if you count green as normal. On the remixed artwork not that much has been changed. The girl is still green, and normal, but without the red lipstick. Oh, and it now seems that girls from Mars don't wear clothes. Verdant!

June Is Bustin' Out All Over - Joanie Sommers

Cover Artwork Remix of June Is Bustin Out All Over Joanie Sommers Original Cover Artwork of June Is Bustin Out All Over Joanie Sommers June Is Bustin' Out All Over - yes - it's finally June and there's a hint of summer in the air. Joanie Sommers sang this heliocentric song from the musical Carousel but the single never had a cover, so the original artwork here is just the cover of the actual 7" vinyl label, modified to be square instead of circular, because that's the way we like to roll. The remix adds in a babe who is definitely bustin' out in many different ways. Pop!

My White Bicycle - Tomorrow

Cover Artwork Remix of Tomorrow My White Bicycle Original Cover Artwork of Tomorrow My White Bicycle We will give Tomorrow some credit for the cover of their single My White Bicycle. Why would we do this? Well for the simple reason that it has a picture of a bicycle on it, and although the cover is in black and white, thereby obscuring the actual color of the aforementioned bike, it could well be white. The remix also has a white bicycle and all we have added as a naked babe riding it. Well, not entirely naked, she has socks and boots on. Ding!

Jesus Use Me - The Faith Tones

Cover Artwork Remix of Faith Tones Jesus Use Me Original Cover Artwork of Faith Tones Jesus Use Me We were alerted to the cover of the album Jesus Use Me by The Faith Tones, by Colin Fetting of Montgomery, AL. Apparently, it is regarded as one of the worst album covers of all time and so Colin thought we ought to have a go a remixing it. The original cover is, well, just awful. The remix shows a religious looking babe, and the look in her eyes suggests that she would happily be used by Jesus, if he were around. We're not sure that Jesus would want to use her in the way she is offering though. Sacrilege!

Rosie - Don Partridge

Cover Artwork Remix of Don Partridge Rosie Original Cover Artwork of Don Partridge Rosie It's always nice to welcome a new guest contributor. Phil Darnall of England sent us this remix of Rosie by Don Partridge. Phil tells us that the ‘bird’ (partridge pun there) in the remix is a woman called Rosemarie that he used to date and who was into many kinks so being
shackled between two trees in a church style pose whilst being flayed with sprigs of rosemary in a paddock is right up her lane.

Phil tells us that his friend Martin rose to the occasion of helping with the remix. We aren’t sure if Martin was the photographer, the unseen herb flayer, the pose consultant, the shackler or just rose in some other undefined way, but thanks for the remix all the same Phil. Spicy!

Road To Nowhere - Talking Heads

Cover Artwork Remix of Talking Heads Road To Nowhere Original Cover Artwork of Talking Heads Road To Nowhere We're on a Road To Nowhere, or at least we were according to New York songstrels Talking Heads. The difficult is, that, according to the original cover, the road, buildings and anything else in the neighborhood have been ripped up by some kind of tornado and thrown randomly into the air. The remix, on the other hand, shows a babe standing on a road. Whether it goes anywhere, or nowhere, is not clear, but that is perhaps less of a worry. Cyclone!
