rocket from the crypt remixrocket from the crypt 1On A Rope, right, that's what this obscure 1996 punk song from Rocket From The Crypt is supposed to be about. If that's the case, then why does the cover of the single show some kind of freaky Indonesian dog puppet silhouette? Know? Us neither. So we remixed it and put, guess what? A hot chick on a rope. Would you have expected anything different? You're right, there should be a rocket too but that can be the one in your pocket!

train hey soul sister remixtrain hey soul sister 1The cover for Train's 2009 hit Hey, Soul Sister is one of the most dull covers that we at AllBum.Art have ever zzz..... Sorry, dropped off there. Good job the cover has had a remix which both awakens the senses and shows us the soul sister that Train are singing about. Apparently it's one of the babes show, though exactly which one isn't clear. Perhaps they're both soul sisters - that would make sense wouldn't it?

Light My Fire - The Doors

doors light my fire remixdoors light my fire 1Come On Baby, Light My Fire is what The Doors told us to do in 1966. Due to today's health and safety legislation such a call to action would no longer be permitted and the song would have had to have been called Put My Fire Out. The cover needs to reflect these changes in society and so instead of showing the Doors standing in a flame, it shows a fire-fighter ready to douse them.

Throw Your Set In The Air - Cypress Hill

cypress hill throw set remixcypress hill throw set 1Throw Your Set In The Air is a 1995 single from Cypress Hill. Nothing ground-breaking there. But what does it actually mean? What is a 'set' and why is it being thrown into the air? Who is throwing the 'set'? Nothing on the original cover of the single answers these questions. The remix, however, puts these questions to bed. A 'set' is obviously a 'bra and pantie set'. The person throwing it is some hot teen. And why? Why not! Now let's get to that bed you want to put the questions in and see what else we can throw in the air.

Fallen Angel - Elbow

elbow fallen angel remixelbow fallen angel 1Are we gettin' a bit obscure on you? There's good reason though. Fallen Angel is a song by obscure British band Elbow. It charted at number 844 and rose stratospherically to reach number 841 in the English Hot 100. Yeah! Why is it here, just because the remix couldn't have a better title than Fallen Angel, that fact is in no way obscure, though oddly, the location of the title has obscured certain parts of the angel. Perhaps there is still a short way to fall. This way please...

Sitting Down Here - Lene Marlin

lene marlin sitting remixlene marlin sitting 1I'm Sitting Down Here so hey you can't see me. That's what Lene Marlin tells us is the case in her 1999 single. If that's the case, then no need to wear any clothes because no one is going to see you. But not Lene, no, she is (apparently) Norwegian where wearing no clothes is likely to make any loose items freeze and drop off and you wouldn't want that. The remix shows what the cover would look like if Lene was American and lived in a land where the weather made frivolities such as clothes completely unnecessary.

The Day We Caught The Train - Ocean Colour Scene

ocs caught the train remixocs caught the train 1What would you expect to see on the cover of a single called The Day We Caught The Train. Well according to the artist Ocean Color Scene, you would expect to see the back of some Italian scooter. WTF! Where's the train that was caught and what was special about that day in particular? The remixed cover answers all these questions. The train is there, and quite clearly, so is the reason why it was a particularly noteworthy day... the train had aqua and mustard stripes - how cool is that?

Picking Up The Pieces - Paloma Faith

paloma faith picking up the pieces remixpaloma faith picking up the pieces 1Did Paloma Faith really sing Picking Up The Pieces. If that's the case then D'Oh as a certain yellow bald-headed cartoon character would say. We here at AllBum.Art could have sworn she said Picking Up The Panties. That's why the remix of this 2012 single has had Ms Faith replaced by a girl who has somehow ended up with her panties on the floor and the need to pick them up. It seemed so obvious at the time, now we just look silly.

What's In The Box (See Whatcha Got) - The Boo Radleys

the boo radleys in the box remixthe boo radleys in the box 1When you find a picture of a totally hot naked babe posing on a box there's only one thing to do... find a single cover that needs a good remix. Why? What were you thinking? The problem is that there aren't too many songs that fit and so this very obscure 1990s single from The Boo Radleys has had to suffice. Suffice it to say that What's In The Box (See Whatcha Got) is a very apt title for the remixed cover.

Kiss The Bride - Elton John

elton john kiss the bride remixelton john kiss the bride 1Like we often say, sometimes a photo is just too good to waste. The bride in the remixed cover is soooo hot that there had to be a single cover that needed her. And that cover is this 1983 song by Elton John called Kiss The Bride. That has no f**king bride on it. What is Mr John up to? Oh, hang on, he doesn't do the bride thing does he? It would be more 'I Want To Kiss The Groom' which wouldn't make for nearly so good a remix now would it?
