ocs caught the train remixocs caught the train 1What would you expect to see on the cover of a single called The Day We Caught The Train. Well according to the artist Ocean Color Scene, you would expect to see the back of some Italian scooter. WTF! Where's the train that was caught and what was special about that day in particular? The remixed cover answers all these questions. The train is there, and quite clearly, so is the reason why it was a particularly noteworthy day... the train had aqua and mustard stripes - how cool is that?

Picking Up The Pieces - Paloma Faith

paloma faith picking up the pieces remixpaloma faith picking up the pieces 1Did Paloma Faith really sing Picking Up The Pieces. If that's the case then D'Oh as a certain yellow bald-headed cartoon character would say. We here at AllBum.Art could have sworn she said Picking Up The Panties. That's why the remix of this 2012 single has had Ms Faith replaced by a girl who has somehow ended up with her panties on the floor and the need to pick them up. It seemed so obvious at the time, now we just look silly.

What's In The Box (See Whatcha Got) - The Boo Radleys

the boo radleys in the box remixthe boo radleys in the box 1When you find a picture of a totally hot naked babe posing on a box there's only one thing to do... find a single cover that needs a good remix. Why? What were you thinking? The problem is that there aren't too many songs that fit and so this very obscure 1990s single from The Boo Radleys has had to suffice. Suffice it to say that What's In The Box (See Whatcha Got) is a very apt title for the remixed cover.

Kiss The Bride - Elton John

elton john kiss the bride remixelton john kiss the bride 1Like we often say, sometimes a photo is just too good to waste. The bride in the remixed cover is soooo hot that there had to be a single cover that needed her. And that cover is this 1983 song by Elton John called Kiss The Bride. That has no f**king bride on it. What is Mr John up to? Oh, hang on, he doesn't do the bride thing does he? It would be more 'I Want To Kiss The Groom' which wouldn't make for nearly so good a remix now would it?

Car Wash - Rose Royce

car wash rose royce remixcar wash rose royce 1The original cover of Rose Royce's 1976 disco classic Car Wash is, to put it simply, garbage. It shows what? The word 'car wash' that's been extended into 3D by some fourth grade design student and the words 'Rose Royce'. Time for a remix to show what it's really all about. And what it's really all about is simple - babes hanging out at a car wash. Like the babe pictured who's so busy soaping up her engine that she's not noticed that her boobs have fallen out of her top. Never mind, she'll no doubt get plenty of tips.

Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel - Tavares

tavares heaven angel remixtavares heaven angel 1Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel. Is that so? If it is, then why isn't the cover of this 1970s disco classic from Tavares providing any indication of who, what or where she might be. Thankfully, we have found her and restored the cover of the single to its full glory. And glory, glory, hallelujah. If that's what angels in heaven look like, then if one of them is missing, better get looking, 'cos you can bet that if she gets found by anyone she'll be missing for all eternity.

I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles

beatles hold your hand remixbeatles hold your hand 1And please say to me, you'll let me hold your hand - I Want To Hold Your Hand, this 1963 single from The Beatles proclaims. But the cover leaves many questions unanswered. Who is it that wants to do the hand holding, the whole band or just one of them? And whose hand is it they want to hold? The remixed cover solves these issues and shows that the holder and holdee are both hot babes and look (as if you needed telling), one of them appears to be buck naked. No wonder they wanted to hold her hand.

Just Mozian Along - Roger King Mozian And His Orchestra

just mozian along remixjust mozian along 1An album so obscure that even the artist Roger King Mozian doesn't have an entry on Wikipedia, Just Mozian Along caught the attention of the AllBum.Art team because of the hapless Mr Mozian sitting on a horse. Why was this of interest? Simply because of the picture of the naked babe on a horse that replaces Mr Mozian himself. A fair replacement and a good use of a picture of a nude model on a pony. We can think of a better use.

Rip It Up - Bill Hailey

bill haley rip it up remixbill haley rip it up 1Steppin' back in time, jive bunnies, to the rolling, rocking 1950s and this single from Bill Haley and his Comets. The original cover of Rip It Up shows the head of Big Bad Bill, but no evidence of any kind of rippin' going on. The remix remedies this with a hot chic whose clothes have been ripped up. Who exactly has done the rippin' is unknown, but it looks like she did it herself. Why? Who cares!

Itsy Witsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - Ron Smith

ron smith teenie bikini remixron smith teenie bikini 1Perhaps not the most well-known version of the song Itsy Witsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, but this one from Ron Smith has a cover that desperately needs a remix. And what a remix. The bikini on the babe on the new cover is so itsy bitsy and teenie weenie that all the polka dots have become invisible. The bikini itself is only just visible in this dimension. Surely the modern version of what Mr Smith (and others like him) thought about when they sang the song?
