Smooth claim to be Mind Blowin'. On the original single front cover artwork, we can see the singer lying on a couch. The most mind blowin' thing about it is her slightly hypnotic gaze. On the remix a babe seems to be blowin' something that's not there. She is using her mind to simulate some kind of blow, and thus, by definition, is mind blowin'. She has, it has to be added, an almost equally mindful gaze. Now that's tongue-in-cheek smooth. Necklace!

The question being asked today by Sultans Of Ping FC is Where's Me Jumper? On the original single front cover artwork, this question is answered by a young boy sitting in bed with his hands over his ears. It's clearly a metaphor, as there is no jumper to be seen. On the remix we find a jumper that is being partly worn by a babe who seems to be a little too hot, as she is considering taking it off. That is where my jumper is. Sweater!

Another remix for The Wedding Present, and to day it is the turn of their single Silver Shorts. On the original front cover artwork is the number 4 and what looks like the background to some bad pixelated 1980s video game but nothing silver, and no shorts. What is it that they were thinking about when they put that one together? On the remix is a babe wearing, guess what... silver shorts. Could it have been any easier to remix this cover? No!

Another remix for Everything But The Girl and this time it is their hit Wrong. And there is plenty that is wrong with the original single front cover artwork. Especially the camera work which is so badly blurred that it is impossible to see what it is meant to be. On the remix we find a busty babe who is not blurred. What is wrong with that? We could tell you what is wrong but maybe you would like to work it out for yourself. Boy, oh boy!

Hitch-hiking always makes a good topic for a remix here at AllBum.It. Green Day sing on this topic on their single Hitchin' A Ride. On the original cover artwork the three members are standing on a pebble strewn road. On the remix, four babes are standing on a similarly pebbly road, but with their thumbs out trying to hitch a ride. They seem to have decided that being topless might increase their chances of being picked up. They probably have that right. Denim!

Terence Trent D'Arby (or Sananda Maitreya as he is known today, even though his real name is the far less glamorous Terry Howard) is Holding On To You. He does this by wearing an orange fur, or at least wearing a fur that is then sprayed orange (which is probably more politically correct) on the the original single front cover artwork. On the remix we see two babes who are holding on to each other. This may be a sensible thing to do as they are only wearing high heel sandals, and seem to be standing in a slippery shower cubicle. Clean!

What is it that Maxwell is singing about? It seems that even he himself doesn't really know, as it's just Sumthin' Sumthin'. The original single front cover artwork doesn't help much either as all we see is the singer in a bar or some such place. On the remix we find two babes bending over on a bed and showing sumthin' to us. Two sumthin's as it happens. Now if only we could remember the name of what those sumthin's are called. Then again, Maxwell couldn't remember either. Forgetful!

Sometimes it's lovely to be Down By The Water, and so, it seems, does PJ Harvey. It seems that her take on being by the water is to smoke a cigarillo, because that is all which can be seen on the original single front cover artwork. On the remix we find a babe who is not just down by the water, but is already partially in the water. Maybe she is getting down by the water, as her stance is that of a dance. Maybe she is in France (only because it rhymes with dance and stance). Glance!

Swing low. Swing out. Swing over. And while your at it, Swing My Way. That is the preferred direction of swing for K.P. And Envyi. To help you swing their way, the original single front cover artwork shows the back of two loudspeakers. Yes, that makes sense. On the remix is a babe, swinging, on a swing. Far less sensible? Only because she is doing so while topless. It is to be strongly hoped that she will not fall off as that could be very damaging. Oscillate!

Unfortunately for The Verve, The Drugs Don't Work. Also unfortunately, the original single front cover artwork gives no indication at all of the nature of the ailment they are trying to remedy, or the type of drugs that they were intending to use to do so. On the remix is a babe puffing away on what looks like something that could contain certain types of drugs. The ailment she is trying to remedy seems to be an over-reliance on fishnet tops. Reef!
