It seems that James's idea of a Gold Mother, is some kind of blurred, watery image of what could possibly be Mary, but could just about be anyone if the original album front cover artwork is a reflection of their opinion. The AllBum.Art opinion on what constitutes a gold mother, is a mature golden-haired babe, wearing a gold basque, and gold high heel shoes. A sexy gold mother [insert your own word to complete the sentence here]. Flim?
Release Me, or release you, or release someone (or something). Whichever of these are correct, the original single cover artwork by Englebert Humperdinck does not indicate who or what needs releasing. Instead we find Mr Dorsey (for that is his real name) looking at something. Perhaps the thing he is looking at is the babe on the remix whose ankles seem to have been tied up with a whip. And maybe it is her who needs releasing and Mr Dorsey is singing on her behalf. Untied!
Another remix for Everything But The Girl and this time it is their hit Wrong. And there is plenty that is wrong with the original single front cover artwork. Especially the camera work which is so badly blurred that it is impossible to see what it is meant to be. On the remix we find a busty babe who is not blurred. What is wrong with that? We could tell you what is wrong but maybe you would like to work it out for yourself. Boy, oh boy!
Curved Air sang about Back Street Luv. To illustrate this, on the original single front cover artwork, they put pictures of themselves. Maybe they are on a back street, and maybe they luv each other. On the remix, a far simpler picture is presented. What looks like a babe in heels and a dude in a suit who seem to be in luv are making out under a bush. Maybe they are on a back street. It would seem unlikely that they are on a busy boulevard. Avenue!
Love On A Mountain Top, as long as the altitude isn't too high to inhibit breathing, might be quite chilly as most mountain tops are snow-covered. It seems that Robert Knight didn't really think about the practicalities of his proposed mountain-top love-making. The original single front cover artwork shows a picture of Mr Knight, but no sign of any mountain. Perhaps he has never actually visited one. On the remix is a babe lying naked on what appears to be the top of some kind of hillock (whether it would classify as a mountain is difficult to know). Lovely!
We have to give credit where it's due to Altered Images. The original album front cover artwork for Pinky Blue, other than the small picture of the band in the bottom right hand corner (having pink and blue confetti dropped on them), is very pink, and blue. This color scheme has been carried over to the remix where we see a babe wearing a mask with ears, who is nothing if not very pink and very blue, with a little purple here and there for good measure. She may also have her bra on back to front. Crimson!
What would you expect to see on the cover of an album called A Life Of Surprises? According to Prefab Sprout it would be a tiny picture of three people standing next to, or sitting on, a motorbike. Which may be surprising, but not as surprising as the picture on the remixed front cover. The remix shows a guy who is clearly very surprised that the busty woman standing next to him has slipped off her clothes and is showing him her ample bosom. If he has a life of surprises like that, his life must be very interesting. Expert!
Oooh, ooh, take me in your arms and Rock Yo Hips baby. That's not quite what the Crime Mob sing as they sit or stand against a brick wall on the original single front cover artwork. They seem quite stationary which doesn't help understand how yo hips should be rocking. On the remix, two big babes are rocking their bikinis and maybe their hips too, though as this is a picture and not a video, it's difficult to know for sure what amount of rock is being applied. Sticky!
Where The Hood At? That is the question which DMX is asking. The original single front cover artwork shows Mr Simmons (for that is his name) leaning out of a window, looking for hood. The remix is maybe what he was looking for, as it's none other than Red Riding Hood, who is better known to her friends as hood. And what is it that she is wearing? Why, a hood of course, but very little else. It must have been a hot day in the forest. What big eyes you have...
Hitch-hiking always makes a good topic for a remix here at AllBum.It. Green Day sing on this topic on their single Hitchin' A Ride. On the original cover artwork the three members are standing on a pebble strewn road. On the remix, four babes are standing on a similarly pebbly road, but with their thumbs out trying to hitch a ride. They seem to have decided that being topless might increase their chances of being picked up. They probably have that right. Denim!
