motorhead ace of spades remixmotorhead ace of spades 1The Ace Of Spades - is this simply a playing card, or is it someone who is expert at digging? If we use the original album (and single of the same name) cover artwork to try and answer this question we find no more information, other than that the band members could probably use someone to help with their gardening. On the remix we find a babe who appears to be losing at cards, presumably strip poker as she is on her way to nakedness. Does she have an ace of spades? No. But she does have the four of spades in her hand. Handy!

Any Way You Want It - Journey

journey any way you want it remixjourney any way you want it 1Journey suggest that you can have it Any Way You Want It if, that is, you want a rainbow colored scarab flying towards a blue-black planet with a slightly twisted ring system. Obviously this is what the band wanted at the time, suggesting they may have been on some kind of hallucinogenic drugs. On the remix we find a babe lying on a hotel bed and by the look on her face, you really can have it any way you want it. Accept!

Don't Push It Don't Force It - Leon Haywood

leon haywood dont push it dont force it remixxleon haywood dont push it dont force it 1Leon Haywood is not wrong when he says Don't Push It Don't Force It, because doing something like that could do serious damage. In his case the damage is to the original single cover artwork where the only thing that is being forced is Mr Haywood's face upon us. On the remix (and this falls into our XXX-rated remixes category) we find a man who is pushing it and forcing it, and a babe who is not very happy about that it appears that he may be pushing in the wrong hole for that kind of thing. Realignment!

Moonlight Shadow - Mike Oldfield

mike oldfield moonlight shadow 2mike oldfield moonlight shadow 1Moonlight Shadow is what Mike Oldfield (occasionally shown as featuring Maggie Reilly) tells us about in his single. On the original cover, it is not clear whether the sea is being lit up by the moonlight or not. But on the remix, it is very clear that it is, indeed, the moon that is causing shadows to be cast over the rippling ocean, as a naked babe makes her way out to see what might well be a pirate ship. Ahoy!

Bedsitter - Soft Cell

soft cell bedsitter 1soft cell bedsitter 2soft cell bedsitter remix
Ah, yes. Soft Cell and Bedsitter. What could possibly say 'bedsitter' more than standing in front of a blue wall covered in knives, spoons and various other kitchen accoutrements. Obviously nothing, if you're the band members. But for us, two alternatives spring to mind. Firstly, a babe sitting on a bed (that's the really obvious choice). In the first instance a cute one, and in the second, representing the generally lower quality of accommodation that bedsits usually represent, a somewhat lower quality babe. Floppy!

Rain - The Cult

the cult rain 2the cult rain 1We like a good rain-based remix here at AllBum.Art as a sexy babe soaking wet is always a sight to behold. Today it is the turn of The Cult and their single Rain to hit the remix table. The original cover shows a cloud, which may, or may not, be a rain cloud. The remix shows a babe who has gotten so wet in the rain that she obviously thinks that removing her t-shirt which is soaking wet, is a good move. We agree. Concur!

sister sledge we are family remixsister sledge we are family 1Whilst we are in a family mood, here's another sibling related remix. We Are Family was a hit for Sister Sledge in the 70s and again in the 80s and 90s as a remix, so it is only fitting that the cover of their single (and album of the same name) receives the AllBum.Art treatment. On the original cover we see the sisters, sitting around looking less than familial. On the remix we find a mother and her daughter looking equally familial but much happier than the sisters appear. Then again letting the wind blow through your hair on a sunny day is always a winner. Smile!

Never Never - The Assembly

the assembly never never remixthe assembly never never 1Nothing screams 'never never' better than a half-finished letter A (or is is actually meant to be the Greek capital lambda Λ) in red with some of it in grey. At least that's what we are to believe if the original cover artwork for the single Never Never by The Assembly is to be believed. For us, never never should be represented by something that you would tend not to want to ever do and we have represented this by a woman who we think you would definitely want to steer clear of. Then again, there is no accounting for taste. Flavor!

Chains Of Love - Erasure

erasure chains of love 2erasure chains of love 1Today is the turn of Chains Of Love by Erasure for a remix. A question that immediately springs to mind when viewing the original cover is this... are there any chains depicted on the artwork? The answer is not clear. Is there, for example, a chain of pearls? To help clarify this, the remix presents a babe who is very clearly connected up with chains of love, or passion, or lust maybe. It looks as if she could do with some assistance to unchain her - maybe a job for the Righteous Brothers? Padlock!

Going Down Town Tonight - Status Quo

status quo going down town tonight remixstatus quo going down town tonight 1Anyone would think we had planned this. First a connection from one song to the next by way of dreaming, and then a connection because it's the same band, Status Quo who are Going Down Town Tonight. But what do they expect to find there, themselves in concert? Because that's what the original cover artwork suggests. The remix shows three babes waiting downtown on a seedy back-street somewhere. Seedy or not, that's the kind of downtown we like. City!
