motorhead ace of spades remixmotorhead ace of spades 1The Ace Of Spades - is this simply a playing card, or is it someone who is expert at digging? If we use the original album (and single of the same name) cover artwork to try and answer this question we find no more information, other than that the band members could probably use someone to help with their gardening. On the remix we find a babe who appears to be losing at cards, presumably strip poker as she is on her way to nakedness. Does she have an ace of spades? No. But she does have the four of spades in her hand. Handy!

Reflections - Carly Simon

carly simon reflections remixcarly simon reflections 1Reflections is Carly Simon's greatest hits album. On the original cover artwork we find Ms Simon grinning inanely at us. On the remix we find a couple of differences. Firstly the babe in the picture has a very clear reflection in the mirror behind her. Secondly, we thing she has some of the greatest tits that you could find on an album cover or two. So there you have it, two changes that quite literally matter not one bit, but make a big small difference to the quality of the resulting result.

Point Of View - Matumbi

matumbi point of view remixmatumbi point of view 1What is Matumbi's Point Of View? A red jacket, yellow tie and black shirt on a hanger in front of a green curtain, that's what. Yes, some very obscure metaphorical analogies going on here because we assume that they have taken the point of view of someone who has no idea about how to produce covers for music. Then again, the remixed point of view may not be to everyone's taste, in fact it might be to very few people's taste unless those people happen to like looking up at hairy old women. Vertigo!

sister sledge we are family remixsister sledge we are family 1Whilst we are in a family mood, here's another sibling related remix. We Are Family was a hit for Sister Sledge in the 70s and again in the 80s and 90s as a remix, so it is only fitting that the cover of their single (and album of the same name) receives the AllBum.Art treatment. On the original cover we see the sisters, sitting around looking less than familial. On the remix we find a mother and her daughter looking equally familial but much happier than the sisters appear. Then again letting the wind blow through your hair on a sunny day is always a winner. Smile!

Books - Belle And Sebastian

belle and sebastian books remixbelle and sebastian books 1Time for a rare album (as opposed to a single) remix from us here at AllBum.Art. The original cover of Books by Belle And Sebastian fails in so many ways that it really isn't of any value to count them. Instead, let's focus on the remix where we find a room full of books. Oh, and just to lighten the picture a little, there's a babe sat in the room reading a book. And she seems very smitten with the book, in several shades of grey. Dictionary!

Juicy Fruit - Mtume

mtume juicy fruit 2mtume juicy fruit 1The original cover of Juicy Fruit by Mtume shows the band looking less than fruity, and certainly not particularly juicy. Thank goodness then for the remix in which we find a juicy looking babe bending over towards a bowl of fruit, which are most certainly fruity. Thinking about it, the babe is quite fruity too, making the whole thing far more appropriate, or not, depending on your view on bananas and all that. Apple!

puddle of mud come clean remixpuddle of mud come clean 1We really have absolutely no idea what Puddle Of Mudd were trying to depict on the original album cover artwork for Come Clean. A little boy peeing against a bush says nothing to us. On the remix, though, one thing is obvious - the babe is clean, having just gotten out of her bath. Why she wore pantyhose and heels in the bath is not clear but you can be assured that if you want to come clean, you need a clean babe to begin with. Shiny!

aerosmith big ones remixaerosmith big ones 1Ermm... Is it just us, or does the fact that Aerosmith have an album called Big Ones, mean that a remix is so inevitable, to not do it would be worse than letting your ice cream melt on a sunny day without even licking it? Let's put this plainly... On the original album cover artwork we find nothing, other than the name of the band and the title of the album. On the remix we find a babe, with big ones. Easy!

A triple-play remix for Susan Cadogan and her single (and album of the same name) Hurt So Good. On the original cover we find Ms Cadogan looking glum. Is she hurt? It's difficult to say. Was the hurt good? Well given that we don't really know if she is hurt, that is a question too far. On the first remix, though, we find a babe who appears to be connected to a machine that is causing her some pain, but equally she seems to be enjoying it, so it's reasonable to state that it hurts so good. On the second remix we find a babe chained up and lying on a bed. Maybe this hurts, or is about to hurt, or has hurt in the past. Is it good? You would have to ask her. Pleasure-Pain-Principle!

a ha analogue remixxa ha analogue 1This marks the last in our short, XXX-rated remix run of artwork around the topic of anal. Today it is the turn of A-Ha and their album Analogue. The original cover shows the band members looking very coy at the back of an odd painted backdrop. In the remix we find a babe who is taking a log in her ass, an 'anal-log' you might say, if you were the kind of sick person that produces these remixes, like us. Woody!
