sister sledge we are family remixsister sledge we are family 1Whilst we are in a family mood, here's another sibling related remix. We Are Family was a hit for Sister Sledge in the 70s and again in the 80s and 90s as a remix, so it is only fitting that the cover of their single (and album of the same name) receives the AllBum.Art treatment. On the original cover we see the sisters, sitting around looking less than familial. On the remix we find a mother and her daughter looking equally familial but much happier than the sisters appear. Then again letting the wind blow through your hair on a sunny day is always a winner. Smile!

Never Never - The Assembly

the assembly never never remixthe assembly never never 1Nothing screams 'never never' better than a half-finished letter A (or is is actually meant to be the Greek capital lambda Λ) in red with some of it in grey. At least that's what we are to believe if the original cover artwork for the single Never Never by The Assembly is to be believed. For us, never never should be represented by something that you would tend not to want to ever do and we have represented this by a woman who we think you would definitely want to steer clear of. Then again, there is no accounting for taste. Flavor!

Chains Of Love - Erasure

erasure chains of love 2erasure chains of love 1Today is the turn of Chains Of Love by Erasure for a remix. A question that immediately springs to mind when viewing the original cover is this... are there any chains depicted on the artwork? The answer is not clear. Is there, for example, a chain of pearls? To help clarify this, the remix presents a babe who is very clearly connected up with chains of love, or passion, or lust maybe. It looks as if she could do with some assistance to unchain her - maybe a job for the Righteous Brothers? Padlock!

Going Down Town Tonight - Status Quo

status quo going down town tonight remixstatus quo going down town tonight 1Anyone would think we had planned this. First a connection from one song to the next by way of dreaming, and then a connection because it's the same band, Status Quo who are Going Down Town Tonight. But what do they expect to find there, themselves in concert? Because that's what the original cover artwork suggests. The remix shows three babes waiting downtown on a seedy back-street somewhere. Seedy or not, that's the kind of downtown we like. City!

Dreamin' - Status Quo

status quo dreamin 2status quo dreamin 1Whilst we are on the subject of dreaming, here's another remix by British rockers Status Quo called Dreamin'. On the original cover we see two of the band members, but they look more puzzled than dreamy. On the remix we find a dreamy girl who would be welcome in our dreams any day. In fact, wasn't she the one who, you know, in that dream you had the other day? Snooze!

Master And Servant - Depeche Mode

depeche mode master and servant remixdepeche mode master and servant 1As if you hadn't guessed already, it's Depeche Mode week, and although we've gotten to the week-end, the remixes just keep on coming. The original cover of Master And Servant has the merest suggestion that in a master/servant relationship, some kind of chains may be necessary. The remix shows far more clearly how these chains might be used, which is to say that they are used to tie up a naked babe who is, presumably, the servant. Masterful!

Stripped - Depeche Mode

depeche mode stripped remixdepeche mode stripped 1The second in our week-long Depeche Mode remix special is a remix for Stripped. The original artwork suggests that the stripping that is going in is removing layers of old wallpaper and paint and thus revealing the many unfashionable colors that lie underneath. The remix tells a different story as one babe is stripping another. At least someone repainted the walls first. Decorate!

depeche mode see you 2depeche mode see you 1Today marks the start of a whole week of remixes of cover artwork for Depeche Mode. Our first remix of the week is for the single See You. On the original cover we find a smoking Joe leaning on a lamppost, looking longingly towards a girl who is looking back at him through the window of her house. On the remix we focus more on the girl herself and find that when you look closely, she is wearing far fewer clothes than on the original cover. How did that happen? Lingerie!

She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby

thomas dolby she blinded me with science 2thomas dolby she blinded me with science 1It's interesting, in an uninteresting kind of way, to wonder how Thomas Dolby managed to write and record this song if, indeed, as he states in the title, She Blinded Me With Science. Surely if he had been blinded, as he states that he was, he would no longer be able to find the right keys on the keyboard, nor strings on a guitar. Maybe that explains the terrible music. Anyhow, for your enjoyment, we have a remix that shows one babe still in the process of trying to blind a second babe and we know this has something to do with science as the first babe is wearing a lab coat. Physical!

shalamar a night to remember remixshalamar a night to remember 1Get ready, tonight, we're gonna make this A Night To Remember. But what do Shalamar mean by that? The simple fact is that we don't know, as the cover of the single shows nothing more than the band members smiling. The remix shows why this will definitely be a noteworthy night, as a totally hot babe is being undressed by a guy who will not forget the experience in a long time, if ever. Memorize!
