Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel

Cover Artwork Remix of Peter Gabriel Sledgehammer Original Cover Artwork of Peter Gabriel Sledgehammer Who could forget Peter Gabriel's iconic video for Sledgehammer. One of the first plasticine based cartoons of our era. So it is odd that the original single artwork does not reflect this icon-o-plastic theme. To be fair, neither does the remix. Instead we see one chick about to hit another babe with a sledgehammer. Why she would do this is not certain but given her PVC clad body, it may be that she is familiar with the use of heavy tools in a less than engineering environment. Banging!

Family Affair - Sly And The Family Stone

Cover Artwork Remix of Sly Family Stone Affair Original Cover Artwork of Sly Family Stone Affair A Family Affair - dangerous thing - brothers and sisters, mothers and sons, all very incestuous and nepotistic. None of these issues is truly reflected on the original cover of the single. In the remix we see two sisters who are clearly interested in each other in a way that extends to wanting to see what's in each other's bikini bottoms. We shall leave it there at the risk of stoking the fuel of an inter-familial feud.

Sailing - Rod Stewart

Cover Artwork Remix of Rod Stewart Sailing Original Cover Artwork of Rod Stewart Sailing Sailing. Conjures up images of long lazy days in the sun with hot babes dancing around the decks, doesn't it. Well apparently in 1975 for Rod Stewart it did not. Instead it conjured up images of Mr Stewart leaning against a brown paper bag. Good job for remixes so that we can correct the image to what it should have been. And wouldn't you know it, in the remix we see a hot babe on a boat, playing with the fox horns. Horny!

Sunshine On A Rainy Day - Zoë

Cover Artwork Remix of Zoe Sunshine On A Rainy Day Original Cover Artwork of Zoe Sunshine On A Rainy Day Sunshine On A Rainy Day. What would that look like. In most likelihood, there would be a rainbow involved, but that's not how we roll at AllBum.Art. Instead we prefer to be cheered up on a rainy day not by a picture of Zoe, or of a rainbow, but of a hot naked chick getting soaked to the skin. Now that really would bring sunshine to any rainy day, or even to days when it's not raining. Blazing!

Everybody Everybody - Black Box

Cover Artwork Remix of Black Box Everybody Original Cover Artwork of Black Box Everybody Wasn't it some children's TV program that began with the poem, 'Everybody, Verybody, Erybody, Rybody, Ybody, Body, Ody, Dy, Y'? Whoever wrote that poem might have been listening to Everybody Everybody by Black Box. But what they wouldn't have done is learned who everybody is, because on the cover there is just the one, not the many. Of course the remixed album artwork fixes this and now we see not jusy anybodies but manybodies. Touche!

Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain - Willie Nelson

Cover Artwork Remix of Willie Nelson Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain Original Cover Artwork of Willie Nelson Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain What would you expect to see on the cover of a single if its title is Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain. For one, blue eyes, and Willie Nelson does not disappoint in this respect. What about some rain? No, none of that. And crying? That neither. But moving from Tennessee to Tokyo can fix all that, as on the remixed cover we find a soaked Japanese babe who is all of the above. Rain, blue eyes, crying and oops, her blouse has gone all see-through. Prudent!

Rain On Me - Ashanti

Cover Artwork Remix of Ashanti Rain On Me Original Cover Artwork of Ashanti Rain On Me The original cover of Ashanti's 2003 single Rain On Me is what we at AllBum.Art would refer to as a 'denizen of deleted dealies', meaning, in particular, that it misses one totally critical dealy, that being any suggestion of rain. Thankfully such omissions are easily dealt with and in the remix we see a poor bedraggled and soaked babe who has been thoroughly rained on. Soggy!

Summer Night City - ABBA

Cover Artwork Remix of Abba Summer Night City Original Cover Artwork of Abba Summer Night City Not the first remix for Swedish songsters ABBA, Summer Night City follows the story of four 1970s pop stars who smile a lot and have problems closing their lips when they have their pictures taken, have too much facial hair, long hairstyles and some of whom wear red hoods in the daytime. What? That can't be right. No, it's not! The correct story, now told in the remixed single cover art, is of four drunken babes in skin-tight purple latex tankinis. Slippy!

Original Cover Artwork of Chris De Burgh Lady In Red Cover Artwork Remix of Chris De Burgh Lady In Red Cover Artwork Remix of Chris De Burgh Lady In Red
It's been a while since we brought you a triple-whammy remix, but this overplayed 1980s song by Chris De Burgh both deserved, and badly needed it. The premise for our remixes of the cover artwork for The Lady In Red is simple. Replace the badly drawn splodge of a picture on the original cover for... wait for it... a lady, in red. There's two for you to choose from. In one the lady is wearing a red bra, on the other it's a red latex catsuit. Whichever takes your fancy! Lipstick!

Price Tag - Jessie J Featuring B.o.B.

Cover Artwork Remix of Jessie J Price Tag Original Cover Artwork of Jessie J Price Tag It's amazing what money can buy. Here we were thinking that the Price Tag referred to by Jessie J Featuring B.o.B. in their 2011 single was to do with ordinary household items like washing machines and stoves, but it turns out, if the remix of the cover of the single is to be believed, that price tag refers instead to the going rate for flashing your tits whilst drinking wine in a public place. I wonder what the price tag to do the same back at AllBum.Art HQ would be? Priceless!
