flo rida akon who dat girl remixflo rida akon who dat girl 1Yo, yo, yo! Flo Rida to the A to the K to the O to the N. OK, so we should steer away from the whole rap thing. But not remixing covers. The original cover of Who Dat Girl shows Flo Rida sitting on a chair but no sign of Akon. Odd that. Also, there's no indication of 'who dat girl' is. Thankfully that's easy to fix and in the remix we can see who 'dat' girl is. If you look carefully, you will see that the chair has also been replaced by a stool. Oh, and all her clothes have fallen off. Mysterical!

Leap Up And Down (Wave Your Knickers In The Air) - St. Cecelia

st cecelia leap up and down remixst cecelia leap up and down 1News arrives at the AllBum.Art headquarters from Alan Preston of Macclesfield, England of a revival of an old 1970s song. Leap Up And Down by St Cecelia was apparently banned from radio in England when it was first released but is having a new lease of life as a summer party song. We can see why as the title lends itself to many a happy summertime party. The original cover shows the band leaping around with some womens' knickers in their hands. The remix shows a babe of around the same era who is not leaping as much, but who is waving her knickers in the air. Thanks for the remix Alan. Float it brother!

Dish Of The Day - Fool's Garden

fools garden dish of the day remixfools garden dish of the day 1What must Fool's Garden have been thinking when they sat down to work out what images to put on the front cover of their album Dish Of The Day? One thing that is for certain, is that they were not thinking very literally. A hand-drawn fish is not dishy, just fishy! The remix is dishy, and shows a hot babe preparing something in a kitchen. And she seems to be preparing for something as well. Stirring!

Just One Look - The Hollies

hollies just one look remixhollies just one look 1The original cover for Just One Look by The Hollies scores on only one of the criteria that make for a great piece of album artwork. That is - it features a picture of the band. But what is it that they are looking at? And why is one look all that is needed? The remix does away with the band but answers these other questions. One look down the panties of the babe on the left is obviously more than enough for the girl on the right. And probably for any hot-blooded male too! Visionary!

Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel

peter gabriel sledgehammer remixpeter gabriel sledgehammer 1Who could forget Peter Gabriel's iconic video for Sledgehammer. One of the first plasticine based cartoons of our era. So it is odd that the original single artwork does not reflect this icon-o-plastic theme. To be fair, neither does the remix. Instead we see one chick about to hit another babe with a sledgehammer. Why she would do this is not certain but given her PVC clad body, it may be that she is familiar with the use of heavy tools in a less than engineering environment. Banging!

Family Affair - Sly And The Family Stone

sly family stone affair remixsly family stone affair 1A Family Affair - dangerous thing - brothers and sisters, mothers and sons, all very incestuous and nepotistic. None of these issues is truly reflected on the original cover of the single. In the remix we see two sisters who are clearly interested in each other in a way that extends to wanting to see what's in each other's bikini bottoms. We shall leave it there at the risk of stoking the fuel of an inter-familial feud.

Sailing - Rod Stewart

rod stewart sailing remixrod stewart sailing 1Sailing. Conjures up images of long lazy days in the sun with hot babes dancing around the decks, doesn't it. Well apparently in 1975 for Rod Stewart it did not. Instead it conjured up images of Mr Stewart leaning against a brown paper bag. Good job for remixes so that we can correct the image to what it should have been. And wouldn't you know it, in the remix we see a hot babe on a boat, playing with the fox horns. Horny!

Sunshine On A Rainy Day - Zoë

zoe sunshine on a rainy day remixzoe sunshine on a rainy day 1Sunshine On A Rainy Day. What would that look like. In most likelihood, there would be a rainbow involved, but that's not how we roll at AllBum.Art. Instead we prefer to be cheered up on a rainy day not by a picture of Zoe, or of a rainbow, but of a hot naked chick getting soaked to the skin. Now that really would bring sunshine to any rainy day, or even to days when it's not raining. Blazing!

Everybody Everybody - Black Box

black box everybody 2black box everybody 1Wasn't it some children's TV program that began with the poem, 'Everybody, Verybody, Erybody, Rybody, Ybody, Body, Ody, Dy, Y'? Whoever wrote that poem might have been listening to Everybody Everybody by Black Box. But what they wouldn't have done is learned who everybody is, because on the cover there is just the one, not the many. Of course the remixed album artwork fixes this and now we see not jusy anybodies but manybodies. Touche!

Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain - Willie Nelson

willie nelson blue eyes crying in the rain remixwillie nelson blue eyes crying in the rain 1What would you expect to see on the cover of a single if its title is Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain. For one, blue eyes, and Willie Nelson does not disappoint in this respect. What about some rain? No, none of that. And crying? That neither. But moving from Tennessee to Tokyo can fix all that, as on the remixed cover we find a soaked Japanese babe who is all of the above. Rain, blue eyes, crying and oops, her blouse has gone all see-through. Prudent!
