Let's all go on a Girls Night Out. That might have been the mentality of Alda because on the original single front cover artwork are drawings of three girls who seem to be on more of a day out than a night out. On the remix are a group of girls standing on what looks like a stage, holding handfuls of glitter, which they are releasing while their hand are held over their heads. This seems more of a night-out activity. There seem to be other handfuls also in view, though the glitter is obscuring some of the view. Sparkly!
Show Me A Sign, that is the simple request that is coming from Kontakt. The original single front cover artwork shows virtually nothing, other than the name of the band and the title of the song and the name of the record company. The remix shows a babe who is holding up a sign, with the name of the band and the title of the song on it. She is showing us a sign. She is also showing us a little more than this, but we doubt that this would raise anything other than a sign or two. Signature!
Yet another remix for the band Level 42. Today it is the turn of their single Hot Water. On the original front cover artwork is nothing other than the name of the band, and the title of the song. There is no indication of what the hot water might be. On the remix we find a babe showering outdoors. There is definitely water involved, but is the water hot, or is the temperature hot and the water cold. Just to ensure that there is at least some heat involved, the babe is hot, so it doesn't really matter whether the water is hot or not. Phew!
Status Quo are one of the most remixed artists here at AllBum.Art. They seem to have a big fan base among our British visitors who send us lots of cover artwork they have worked on. This one comes from Mark Hudson who tells us that the original cover for The Wanderer, though it shows a guitar case that a wanderer might carry, doesn't show us who the wanderer is. On the remix we find a babe wandering off down the street. But not only has she forgotten her guitar, but all her clothes too. Thanks Mark - keep them coming (if there are any Status Quo songs left that haven't yet been remixed). Amble!
Jamie Lawson Wasn't Expecting That. But what is that, that it was, that he wasn't expecting? The original single front cover artwork can only tell us that it was the rather sharp turquoise background. On the remix we find a scene that was not expected. A babe is exposing her naked body whilst three people around her seem to be shocked at her exposition. They weren't expecting that, but perhaps that is because they don't know her very well. Maybe she does this kind of thing all the time. Exhibition!
A favorite topic for remixing here at AllBum.Art as lots of pretty ladies wear High Heeled Shoes, and today it is the turn of Megan McKenna. The odd thing is that on the original single front cover artwork, though we get to see Ms McKenna, the photograph that has been used chops off her lower leg so we can not see if she is wearing high heeled shoes or not. On the remix we see a babe who could, or may not, be wearing high heeled shoes, but she is holding a pair on top of her naked torso. Magenta!
What is it that is Better In A Black Dress? We don't know, so let's ask Katie Armiger. If the original single front cover artwork tries to answer this, then we are left a little lacking for a solution as we can only see Ms Armiger in a black dress, but what is it better than? A red one? A blue one? Or maybe no dress at all? That is the choice we are given on the remix. Better with or without the black dress? You decide. Selfie!
We seem to be on a run of songs about oldness at the moment. Today it is the turn of Alan Jackson and his song The Older I Get. The strange thing about the title of the song is that it seems to be missing an ending. What is it that occurs when Mr Jackson gets older? The original single front cover artwork doesn't give us any answers. On the remix we find two old babes, one who seems to be enjoying undressing her busty mature friend and showing off her hairiness. Maybe 'the older I get, the more I enjoy embarrassing my friends' is the real title? Ancient!
What can we say about Grow Old With Me by Tom Odell. Not a great deal, as we couldn't be bothered to actually listen to the song. Also, the original single front cover artwork doesn't say very much, it just shows Mr Odell and his shadow. On the remix, much is clarified, as we find a mature babe standing in front of Mr Odell, who, given her state of attire, is enticing him to grow old with her (though this might not take long in her case). End!
We would tend to agree with The Snake Oil Willie Band that based on the artwork on the original front cover of their single, I Don't Look Good Naked Anymore, they don't look that great naked any more. The bulging pink belly is not that attractive. On the remix is an older babe who maybe thinks she doesn't look good naked any more, but that is a matter for personal taste. Sure, her hair is going grey, and her skin is wrinkled in places, but her body is still taut and toned. Evermore!
