Rhythmic Feet - AKB

Cover Artwork Remix of Akb Rhythmic Feet Original Cover Artwork of Akb Rhythmic Feet A rather obscure disco album from the 1970s? Yes! Why? Because the original cover of Rhythmic Feet by AKB shows a babe in red high heels, wearing a red dress sitting on a piano. And? And, the remix shows the same. So? So the babe has aged a little since the 70s but seems to have remained in pretty good shape. Pretty? Yes, dressed like that, or should that be undressed like that, she still looks the part, don't you think? Keyboard!

In Trance - Scorpions

Cover Artwork Remix of Scorpions In Trance Original Cover Artwork of Scorpions In Trance Occasionally, here at AllBum.Art, we find the cover of an album that remixes itself, simply through modernization. On the original cover of the Scorpions album, we see a sexy babe with an electric guitar. On the remix, the identical concept, just a more modern and less clothed version. Bizarrely, for an album called In Trance, it's a heavy metal album, not some plinkly plonky dance music. Simple!

Below The Belt - Boxer

Cover Artwork Remix of Boxer Below The Belt Original Cover Artwork of Boxer Below The Belt The original cover of the Boxer album Below The Belt apparently shows a model called Stephanie Marrian spreadeagled and naked with just a boxing glove covering her decency. Boxer's logo has a belt around it so in essence, the whole of Ms Marrian is below the belt. Full marks for effort there boys. On the remix we see an older babe but she is letting the guy standing next to her take a much closer look at what is below her belt. And she isn't even wearing a belt. Examination!

The Wall - Pink Floyd

Cover Artwork Remix of Pink Floyd The Wall Original Cover Artwork of Pink Floyd The Wall All in all, you're just another brick in The Wall is the famous refrain from the title song from the album of much the same name by Pink Floyd. Now we can't knock the band for their choice of cover for their album, being, as it is, a wall. But we can improve it. Instead of the plain white wall, we see a regular brick wall and would you know it, it has structural instabilities and is having to be held up by a babe. Who didn't have time to get dressed. Stanchion!

Country Life - Roxy Music

Cover Artwork Remix of Roxy Music Country Life Cover Artwork Remix of Roxy Music Country Life Whoa! Something very special to get February off to a happy start. Four remixes of the cover of Country Life by Roxy Music. The original is the one on the top left and shows two babes: one in see-through white lingerie and the other in black panties but no bra, trying to cover their decency with their hands.

The first three remixes (top row and the one immediately to the right of this text with the two ebony babes) are actually attempts by other people (not AllBum.Art) to re-pose this iconic album cover.

The final remix (bottom right) is also by two babes who are trying to re-pose for a remake of the cover but have got it very badly wrong. They have forgotten the lingerie, their pose is all wrong, and their hands are covering up (or not covering up) the wrong parts of their bodies. At least they got the pine trees right. Fail!

Christmas Disco - The Mistletoe Disco Band

Cover Artwork Remix of Christmas Disco Mistletoe Band Original Cover Artwork of Christmas Disco Mistletoe Band The Mistletoe Disco Band only had one album. In fact, they probably didn't even have one, because the album is actually just a bunch of session musicians. Christmas Disco is popular though, and it has been re-mastered. So we thought we would re-master the cover and bring it up to date too. On the original cover we see a babe dancing in a holiday outfit. On the remix we see a girl who has had too much to drink at the office Christmas party and is now feeling a little forlorn. Anyone for helping her feel better? Touchy!

Black Widow - Lalo Schifrin

Cover Artwork Remix of Lalo Schifrin Black Widow Original Cover Artwork of Lalo Schirfin Black Widow According to Wikipedia, Black Widow could mean many things, but the one we are interested in here is the 1970s album by Argentinian Lalo Schifrin. The cover remix here though refers exactly to that self same album. On the original cover we see a widow, in black, silhouetted against a shiny red background. On the remix we see the same, except the widow is not shrouded in darkness. And guess what, she's wearing kinky widow underwear. Morbid!

Saturday Night Fever

Cover Artwork Remix of Saturday Night Fever Original Cover Artwork of Saturday Night Fever Not strictly a remix of the cover of a song, but there is an album of the movie soundtrack for which this cover fits perfectly! We just couldn't bare to see Mr Travolta jiving away on the dance-floor with a woman who seems unable to fulfill even the basic feverish requirements. So we have given him a most suitable dance partner, a bare lady who seems more than able to strut her stuff just as well as Mr Travolta does, just without the unnecessary accompanying clothing.

Cover Artwork Remix of Van Morrison Moondance Original Cover Artwork of Van Morrison Moondance It's always great to receive remixes of album artwork submitted to us by our visitors. It seems we were not the only ones who were inspired by the definition of 'moon' relating to revealing buttocks - an activity we greatly support here at AllBum.Art. This one is provided by Dirk Fansome of Santa Rosa, CA. Dirk says:
I know there's no picture of the moon in my re-imagining of the cover, but I figured that a hot babe dancing at sunset and mooning at us would fit better with the original color scheme of the cover.

We think Dirk has a point and that his remix has more aplomb than most of ours... what do you think?

Delights Of The Garden - The Last Poets

Cover Artwork Remix of Last Poets Garden Delight Original Cover Artwork of Last Poets Garden Delight As has been said many times at AllBum.Art, sometimes a remix of a cover is inspired by the cover of a song or its title, and sometimes by a picture that is just too good to miss the chance to use. This is one of those latter instances where a picture (in this case of a lot of mature ladies in wellington boots in a garden) was just too good not to be used in a remix. In this case it's the 1977 album Delights Of The Garden by The Last Poets With Bernard Purdie. We are sure you will agree that the remix sings more about the delights of the garden than the original cover does!
