Cover Artwork Remix of Pinkertons Assorted Colours Mirror Mirror Original Cover Artwork of Pinkertons Assorted Colours Mirror Mirror Another mirror based remix. Today it's Mirror Mirror from British band Pinkerton's Assorted Colours. How do we know they're British? They spell color all funny! The original cover shows the band - how original. In the remix we see, what else, a cute babe getting changed in front of a mirror. Sadly there are no assorted colors, just black and white, but that's how it was in 1966. Brightly!

Hitch Hike - Marvin Gaye

Cover Artwork Remix of Marvin Gaye Hitch Hike Original Cover Artwork of Marvin Gaye Hitch Hike Now where were we before we were rudely interrupted by Valentine's Day? Ah, yes, just about to launch a short series of remixes of songs about hitch hiking. Today it's turn of soul legend Marvin Gaye to sing about a Hitch Hike. On the original cover we see Mr Gaye looking ebullient (is that a word?) but no hitch hiking. On the remix we see a babe who is awaiting a hitch hike. She clearly needs a lift as it seems all her clothes, except her shoes, have been stolen. Help!

Teen Angel - Mark Dinning

Cover Artwork Remix of Mark Dinning Teen Angel Original Cover Artwork of Mark Dinning Teen Angel Oh dear. Mark Dinning, you should be ashamed of yourself (if you hadn't died in 1986). What an opportunity is presented by the cover of a single called Teen Angel, and you waste it by sitting there with a guitar looking for all the world like neither a teen, nor an angel. Damn good job that we here at AllBum.Art were able to help and replace you with an angel who is around 19 years old. A real teen angel if ever there weren't one. Snegatives!

Skiing In The Snow - The Invitations

Cover Artwork Remix of Invitations Skiing In The Snow Original Cover Artwork of Invitations Skiing In The Snow This is not the first remix of Skiing In The Snow, as this original by The Invitations was covered in the 1970s by another band. The original cover of the original song sees the band standing around looking very warm, despite the monochrome picture. They aren't skiing and they aren't in the snow. In the remix we see a babe skiing in the snow. We'd like to say she's a hot babe but in that outfit, or lack of outfit, a better description might be cool. Arctic!

Under The Boardwalk - The Drifters

Cover Artwork Remix of Drifters Under The Boardwalk Original Cover Artwork of Drifters Under The Boardwalk Pink, orange, yellow and blue stripes. Is that what The Drifters think that life is like Under The Boardwalk. Well sorry to disappoint them, but it is not. It is a hostile environment where the sea lashes against the exposed metalwork whilst naked babes have to stand around holding up stanchions to ensure the boardwalk doesn't fall into the sea. Hang on, is that true - the bit about naked babes and stanchions? Obviously it is - see the remix! Joist!

I Got You Babe - Sonny & Cher

Cover Artwork Remix of Sonny Cher I Got You Babe Original Cover Artwork of Sonny Cher I Got You Babe When Sonny & Cher sang I Got You Babe, who could have guessed that their apparently strong connection would be broken. The original cover already suggests that the two of them were not that close, both of them looking as if they are very disinterested in each other. In the remix we see a mature woman who has very clearly got her younger male babe, him being trapped in her vice like grip and unable to get away without extensive pain being caused. Crusher!

Cover Artwork Remix of The Who My Generation Original Cover Artwork of The Who My Generation Another viewer submitted entry, this time from Rosemary Kittle of Palm Bay, FL. Of her remix of My Generation by The Who she writes:
People think that us silver-surfers are just interested in vacations and pensions but many of us still enjoy a good time in the bedroom. My remix of the song shows how 'my generation' like to party!

We can see that Rosemary! If that is how your generation party, who are we to deny you a remix? Comfortable!

Georgy Girl - The Seekers

Cover Artwork Remix of Seekers Georgy Girl Original Cover Artwork of Seekers Georgy Girl Still back in the 1960s, as we discover what Georgy Girl looks like. The Seekers provide no real indication of what a Georgy Girl is or does and though the 1960s are a long way back in the past, we at AllBum.Art are proud to have found a picture of a Georgy Girl in the internet archives. It seems she was a very curvy babe who liked to hang around peering out of curtains and standing next to standard lamps. And doing this wearing no clothes that are immediately visible. Bright!

Jackie - Scott Walker

Cover Artwork Remix of Scott Walker Jackie Original Cover Artwork of Scott Walker Jackie Always nice to receive a well thought through remix from someone who is clearly a bit mad. Dave Wilson of London, England has sent us this remix of the single Jackie by Scott Walker. Dave takes up the story:
Jackie was the name of a pirate radio station in the 1980s in London and used this song as their theme. As a boy listening to the radio I often dreamed about what Jackie must look like and was disappointed when I saw the cover of the song and found that Jackie was not there. I always imagined here as being a swash-buckling sea-wench and when I saw your site it inspired me to rekindle my childhood fantasies and do a remix.

Nothing mad there, you might think. But then again, you might not think, and that would be mad. A-harrr!

Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles

Cover Artwork Remix of Beatles Here Comes Sun Original Cover Artwork of Beatles Here Comes Sun Not a single from The Beatles as such, but a track from the multi-selling album Abbey Road, Here Comes The Sun seemed to deserve a remix as much as any other song. The inspiration, well let's just say that in the remix, it's very clear where the sun is coming from, isn't it...? And it's not coming from behind the sofa, or under the bed, or behind the wardrobe? No, it's coming right between the legs of a babe who is highlighting exactly where the sun is coming from by pointing at it, as if there could have been any doubt. Dazzling!
