inxs kick remixinxs kick 1Another remix for Inxs (which is pronounced 'in excess' rather than 'inks' in case you were wondering). The original artwork for their album Kick is a kind of random jumble of images of the band members - none of them in a kicking posture. On the remix we find a babe who is doing a high kick, in her heels, or maybe she is trying to kick off her heels, we may never know. High!

White Shoes - Emmylou Harris

emmylou harris white shoes remixemmylou harris white shoes 1We give full marks to Emmylou Harris for the cover of her album White Shoes. Why full marks? Because it shows both the artist (Ms Harris) and a pair of white shoes (in this case ones that she is wearing herself). So really our remix is a little pointless, however we had this great picture of some white shoes and though these would make a great replacement for the original artwork. Do you like the picture of the white shoes? Oops, look what's in the mirror. Reflection!

Real Girl - Mutya Buena

mutya buena real girl remixmutya buena real girl 1Mutya Buena is a Real Girl, as far as we can tell. But the problem with the cover artwork of her single and album (of the same name) is that although we can see Ms Buena's face, whether the rest of her body proves that she is a real girl is not known. On the remix we find a babe who is 100% real girl and has the body to prove it. That being said, there may be some surgical enhancement going on up there. What do you think?

How Dare You - 10cc

10cc how dare you remix10cc how dare you 1Another remix for 10cc, this time for the artwork of their album How Dare You. On the original cover we find a businessman on the telephone to a female, possibly his wife, or mistress, or secretary. On the remix we find only the female who is fiercely proclaiming her dare, which appears to have been to stand in the street and flash her naked body. Dare!

Disco Shock - Various Artists

disco shock remixdisco shock 1A rare remix of a compilation album by none other than Various Artists. The original cover artwork for Disco Shock has five babes with their backs to us, walking away into the distance. They are wearing a combination of jeans and hot pants and high heels, and one of them (second from the left) appears to be topless. On the remix we have just updated this picture with five alternative babes. This time they are facing towards us and wearing hot pants and heels and several of them are topless. Updated!

Watermelon Man - Rafael Nunez

rafael nunez watermelon man remixrafael nunez watermelon man 1Rafael Nunez has got it half right. On the original cover artwork for his album Watermelon Man, he shows a watermelon, but the person holding it is not a man, but is instead female (at least that is what she appears to be - looks can be deceptive!) On the remix nothing much has changed except that it is now almost beyond doubt that the person holding the watermelon is female. Fruit!

Let's Clean Up The Ghetto - Philadelphia International All Stars

phildelphia international all stars lets clean up the ghetto remixphildelphia international all stars lets clean up the ghetto 1Brushes and mops out, Let's Clean Up The Ghetto. Or at least that is what the Philadelphia International All Stars wanted us to do in 1977. The original cover artwork has no cleaning equipment visible. The remix helps as we find a ghetto babe doing some cleaning. Why she is doing this in wedge heels and no panties is anyone's guess, but perhaps that is what the ghetto is like. Downtown!

The Bends - Radiohead

radiohead the bends 2radiohead the bends 1Another remix for Radiohead, anyone would have thought that we had planned that! Today it is the turn of their 1995 album The Bends. The original cover artwork for the album is another of their epic fails. Its only saving grace is that it might have been bendy if you took the album out of the sleeve and just played with the sleeve. The remix is simple. A babe who has the bends. So much so that she is heels over head. Chair!

All Wrapped Up In Cash - Johnny Cash Played By Nashville Fiddles

johnny cash all wrapped up in cash 2johnny cash all wrapped up in cash 1All Wrapped Up In Cash was an album by the Nashville Fiddles in which they played some Johnny Cash numbers. On the original cover they take the correct approach of picturing a babe who is wrapped up in cash but not much else. On the remix the same approach has been taken, the only slight difference is that the babe concerned has a few less dollar bills covering her up. That and the fact that she is upside-down. Invert!

Pleasure/Pain - Ohio Players

ohio players pleasure 2ohio players pleasure 1A bit of a special end to the Ohio Players special remix week, with two remixes on the same day. The first is for their album Pleasure. On the original cover is a babe with her hands in the air. She doesn't look that happy, but then pleasure is a personal thing and maybe having her hands in the air is all that she needs. On the remix we find a different babe who also has her hands in the air, so not much has changed there!

ohio players pain remixohio players pain 1And now you can see why the two on the same day. On the original cover of Pain is a girl who may be the same as the one on Pleasure, but now dressed in bondage gear. On the remix is definitely the same girl as on the remix of Pain, but just the frame has been pulled back so that we can see why her hands were in the air. Pleasure, Pain, Principle!
