moody blues nights in white satin 2moody blues nights in white satin 1Those crazy Moody Blues and their Nights In White Satin. What a set of wacky dudes. So much so, that the cover of their single doesn't show any of them wearing white satin, nor does it show anyone else wearing it. The remix solves this as we find a babe lounging around on what looks like an old oil barrel painted red. What is important, here though, is that she is wearing white satin lingerie, and not that much else. She looks like a barrel of fun. A material girl. OK, we give up. Sheets!

Ain't Too Proud To Beg - The Temptations

temptations aint too proud to beg 2temptations aint too proud to beg 1Another remix for The Temptations. This time it's their 1966 single, Ain't Too Proud To Beg. The original cover is somewhat boring, where the word 'somewhat' should be replaced by the word 'totally', and the word 'boring' should be replaced by the word 'terrible'. The remix shows a babe down on her knees, begging for something or other. Perhaps she's begging for someone to give her a hand up because she's finding it difficult to walk in those heels. Help!

Walkin' Back To Happiness - Helen Shapiro

helen shapiro walkin back to happiness remixhelen shapiro walkin back to happiness 1Helen Shapiro is Walkin' Back To Happiness, and she is doing so by staring out across a yellow-tinged cityscape. Not much walkin' going on, and no real sign of happiness. On the remix we find three babes who are doing some walkin'. They may look a little sad, but remember they are walkin' back to happiness, presumably therefore, they have been somewhere less than happy. Hopefully they will cheer up when they get there. Smile!

Up On The Roof - The Drifters

drifters up on the roof remixdrifters up on the roof 1When The Drifters sang Up On The Roof, did you visualize the band members standing around with their arms open wide? Because whoever visualized the original single cover artwork did just that. We visualized something a bit different which, as you might guess, involves a babe up on the roof of a building somewhere, which is exactly what the remix shows. It seems quite sunny up there so she has decided to remove her clothes and catch some rays. Dangerous!

Little Devil - Neil Sedaka

A satanic triple-play from us good folk at AllBum.Art from none other than Neil Sedaka. On the original single cover artwork for Little Devil we find Mr Sedaka looking at something. He may be a little frightened, but with that sweater on, he might just be a bit hot. On the first remix we find a babe who is holding a very small devilish rubber duck in her hand but you can tell although he is little he is a devil, as he is pecking at her nipple ring. On the second remix we find a babe who has clearly been taken over by Beelzibub himself and is a devil in female form. She's not that little though. Size!

Baby Twist - Bob Azzam E La Sua Orchestra

bob azzam baby twist remixbob azzam baby twist 1In the 1960s when Bob Azzam E La Sua Orchestra put together the original cover artwork for their single Baby Twist, it must have been quite daring to have had a bikini-clad babe dancing by the sea. All that we have done for the remix is to modernize the outfit being worn by the babe. She is still a babe dancing by the sea but half of her bikini has vanished, as the 50 years since the single was release have passed, perhaps it has just perished. Fade!

Peek-A-Boo - The New Vaudeville Band

new vaudeville band peek a boo 2new vaudeville band peek a boo 1Going back in time to the 1960s for this remix of Peek-A-Boo by The New Vaudeville Band. The original cover sees the band members sitting in, or standing next to, a car that has come even further back in time (though not using any kind of flux capacitor). Now Peek-A-Boo is a game often played with babies where one hides and just reveals a small part of yourself to the glee of the child concerned. Our version has a babe who has just revealed a small part of herself, to the glee of the childish mentalities of the staff here. Game on!

(Must You Always) Tease Me - Keith Kelly

keith kelly must you always tease me 2keith kelly must you always tease me 1(Must You Always) Tease Me? That is the question posed by Keith Kelly. Now on the cover of Mr Kelly's single, we see a happy yet intrigued looking Mr Kelly and the question is, what or who is doing the teasing (always). The remix turns the camera around 180 degrees so that we can see what or who it is that is doing the teasing. Now it is clear why Mr Kelly is looking so intrigued and happy on the original cover artwork. Smile!

Happy Together - The Turtles

turtles happy together remixturtles happy together 1The Turtles are apparently Happy Together and although there are one or two smiling faces on the cover of their single, it is not at all clear that everyone in the picture is happy to be together. The remix shows two babes who seem very happy to be together. Perhaps it is the fact that they are both naked and therefore are happy to have the mutual support for whatever they are going to do next - such as to find out where their clothes have disappeared to. Joyous!

Snow Flake - Jim Reeves

jim reeves snow flake remixjim reeves snow flake 1Whilst we are on the subject of snow flakes, here is a remix of Snow Flake by seasonal swooner Jim Reeves. On the original cover artwork we find Mr Reeves looking anything but snowy, though perhaps if he hasn't used anti-dandruff shampoo he might be a bit flaky. The remix shows a babe dressed as a snow flake, though it appears that she may have forgotten certain important parts of her outfit. Then again, perhaps that is how nature intended it, you never really know when it comes to snow flakes. Geometric!
