wonder stuff size of a cow remixwonder stuff size of a cow 1What is The Size Of A Cow? According to The Wonder Stuff, the answer to this question is to be found in an old television set that's been colorized yellow and blue. That might be OK for them, but for us here at AllBum.Art, we like something more obvious. For example, a cow is found in a field so let's begin with a field. And the size of the cow, well generally quite large. Now wouldn't you know it, the remix shows a large lady in a field. Moo!

Daydream In Blue - I Monster

i monster daydream in blue 2i monster daydream in blue 1What's your idea of a Daydream In Blue? Is it a lot of badly drawn blue flowers? If it is, then you're on the same level as I Monster on the original cover of their 2001 single. When we close our eyes and daydream about blue things, we see something that looks more like the picture on the remix - a cute babe in blue lingerie. Now close your eyes and think about a daydream out of blue... Dreamy!

Is There Something I Should Know - Duran Duran

duran duran is there something i should know remixduran duran is there something i should know 1Please, please tell me now, Is There Something I Should Know? That's exactly the kind of question that would spoil all the fun but then again maybe Duran Duran are spoil sports. The cover of their single doesn't provide much enjoyment so thank goodness for the remix which shows a babe checking that, if there is something she should know, she's got her eye on the situation. Does she know she's standing in front of a window naked? Query!

Do Your Time On The Planet - Lime

lime do your time on the planet 1lime do your time on the planet 2lime do your time on the planet remix
Completing our week (well just over a week) of futuristic and space-age remixes, we find Lime instructing us to Do Your Time On The Planet. Another triple-play from us here at AllBum.Art. The original cover artwork shows what could the the captain of a space vessel enjoying a dark green cocktail. The first remix is more Barbarella in nature harking back to the futuristic views of those whacky 60s film makers. The second remix shows a babe who has been locked in the brig aboard a space ship and doesn't look too happy about her incarceration. Let's hope that she repents of her crimes and is let out to roam the ship more freely. Force field!

Method Of Modern Love - Hall & Oates

hall and oates method of modern love remixhall and oates method of modern love 1Another remix on a futuristic, space age theme. This time it's Daryl Hall & John Oates who are describing the Method Of Modern Love. Apparently, if the original cover artwork is to be believed, this particular method involves permed hair, mustaches and sideburns. Oh, and leather jackets. On the remix we discover that the real method of modern love relies on weird, metal machines on a far-away planet. And, of course, a naked babe in a space helmet. Definitely!

Space Oddity - David Bowie

david bowie space oddity 2david bowie space oddity 1Another futuristic remix for David Bowie, this time for his hit Space Oddity. The original cover shows Mr Bowie and although his hair style is a bit of an oddity, the rest of the picture shows nothing that might be from space. The remix shows three neon space creatures who apparently are from the planet Hornypants. At only 37 light years from Earth, it's the kind of place that NASA should be sending probes to. Human probes!

Modern Love - David Bowie

david bowie modern love remixdavid bowie modern love 1If you're sensing a theme this week at AllBum.Art then you wouldn't be far wrong. Our theme this week is space-age and futuristic remixes. And what better source of such material than David Bowie. Today's remix is for Modern Love and on the original cover we see the aforementioned Mr Bowie who may have looked modern in the 1980s but who looks positively old-fashioned now. Good job we remixed it and replaced Mr Bowie with a far more modern love. Purple?

Future Love Paradise - Seal

seal future love paradise ep remixseal future love paradise ep 1Continuing the vaguely space-age theme, here is a remix for Future Love Paradise by Seal. The original cover shows Mr Samuel (see what he did there - Seal is an anagram of Samuel dropping the mu-sic!) being vaguely futuristic with his curly hair and muscular arm on show. Yeah, right! In the remix we see what appears to be a vaguely hybrid human-android love machine from some future paradise or other. Vague?

She's So Modern - The Boomtown Rats

boomtown rats shes so modern remixboomtown rats shes so modern 1Infamous for not liking Mondays, the cover of The Boomtown Rats single She's So Modern indicates that the band also have odd ideas about what constitutes a modern woman. For them she's got the right clothes to wear, she knows the right things to say, and that is what makes her modern. For us, it's more to do with wearing a space-age outfit and, of course, the good thing about space-age outfits is just how skimpy they are. Boom!

Humanoid - Stakker

stakker humanoid 2stakker humanoid 1Following yesterday's outer-space based remix, we thought another space-aged cover could do with the AllBum.Art treatment. This time it is Humanoid by Stakker that is under the telescope. The original cover has all of that late 1980s post-apocalyptic neo-transigent nonsense going on. The remix shows a humanoid, or at least what looks like a humanoid that is unless the blue patches on her skin are just decoration and not part of her actual physical being. Human being that is. Or not. Heck, you decide.
