War - Former Vandal

former vandal war remixformer vandal war 1War by Former Vandal is apparently a song inspired by the TV show Teen Wolf. On the original cover we see a face daubed with neon paint standing in a room replete with ultra violet light. On the remix we see a babe who is not just a former vandal, but is clearly still keen on tearing places apart, oddly in very high platform heels. And nothing else. Now if that isn't enough to start a war, what is? Alien!

Smoke - Natalie Imbruglia

natalie imbruglia smoke remixnatalie imbruglia smoke 1Ribbons of wispy and pungent vapor distort out view of Natalie Imbruglia on the cover of her single Smoke. Under normal circumstances that would score full points on the AllBum.Art leader board containing, as it does, a picture of the artist and a connection to the title of the song. So in a way, the remix would score less covering off, as it does, the smoke element but having replaced Ms Imbruglia with a different babe who appears to enjoy smoking whilst walking down country lanes. Score?

Nice Legs, Shame About Her Face - The Monks

monks nice legs shame remixmonks nice legs shame 1Any band that describes themselves as neo-punk revivalists deserve to have the cover of their song remixed. Oddly, The Monks do not make this claim, but we decided to remix the cover of their song Nice Legs Shame About Her Legs anyway. On the original - legs. On the remix, a wicked pair of legs but oh dear, not so pretty in the facial area. What's that you say, beggars can't be choosers. Hand that begging bowl over... Change!

Another triple-play for you, this time for Chris Spedding's 1975 hit, Motor Bikin'. Now to be fair to Mr Spedding, the original cover does show a motorbike, so in that respect it does reflect the title of the song. We just prefer to see sexy babes on the bike rather than leather bedecked, behelmetted men. Vroom!

Russians - Sting

sting russians remixsting russians 1Whilst we are talking about all things Russian, here is a remix for Russians by Sting. The original cover sees Mr Sumner seemingly deeply concerned about something, probably whether he was about to be assassinated for saying something vaguely negative about the leadership and residents of the USSR. On the remixed, remastered cover artwork we see typical AllBum.Art fodder which is no more than one of the aforementioned residents. In a Russian hat. Da!

The Freeze - Spandau Ballet

spandau ballet the freeze remixspandau ballet the freeze 1Whilst the nights are still longer than average and the days colder than average (at least in the northern hemisphere), we bring you the remix of The Freeze by Spandau Ballet. The original cover is, well, just plain dull. What a roman carriage has got to do with anything is anyone's guess and as for the Russian style font, nyet. The remix replaces this with a girl in the freeze, in the cold, in the snow, in the nude. Chill!

Let Me Show You - K-Klass

k klass let me show you remixk klass let me show you 1What were the band K-Klass thinking when they developed the cover of the single Let Me Show You? What does a whale diving into the ocean have to do with either the band, or the title of the song? The only, possible, tenuous link is that the whale is showing off. We prefer the remix by far in which a babe and her boyfriend appear to have been playing some kind of card game. The girl has lost and has to show her man her goods. Wonder if she's up for another hand? Deal!

Spending My Time - Roxette

roxette spending my time remixroxette spending my time 1Another band who have appeared before on AllBum.Art, Roxette once again grace the site. The original cover of their single Spending My Time shows the two band members and a clock, so pretty much full marks for covering the artist and the name of the song. No real need for a remix, but we liked the idea of spending time to mean spending money as well as time, so the remix shows a babe leisurely spending time spending money at a casino. Deal!

Graffiti - Maximo Park

maximo park graffiti remixmaximo park graffiti 1Another remix for Maximo Park. This time it is for their one of their earliest singles, Graffiti. On the original cover we see a slim, cute babe swaying her long hair (presumably in time with the music). On the remix we see a similar babe with shorter hair beginning to spray graffiti on a wall. For some reason another babe is standing next to her pointing at the yet to be formed letters. For yet another, totally unexplained reason, they are both largely naked. Paint!

Catch Me If You Can

catch me if you can remixcatch me if you can 1A rarity to start March here at AllBum.Art - a remix of the cover of a Blu-Ray and not a song. Catch Me If You Can is the 2002 film in which Tom Hanks chases around the country after Leonardo Di Caprio (a.k.a. Frank Abagnale). On the original cover we see the two aforementioned gentlemen standing back to back. On the remix we see a babe who is much harder to catch, as she is running quickly away from us in her sneakers. But not much else. No wonder she doesn't want to be caught... Slippy!
