dodgy good enough 2dodgy good enough 1What is Good Enough for Dodgy? According to their original single cover artwork, a sunflower is good enough for them. Fair enough. On the remix we find a babe who appears to have made an attempt to trim her bush and is showing it to someone in a way that begs the question, is it good enough. The question then becomes, good enough for what? Without knowing what the aim of her trimming exercise was, it's difficult to answer the question as to whether it is good enough or not. Fuzz!

Turn Around - Phats & Small

phats small turn around 2phats small turn around 1Turn Around (or Hey What's Wrong With You as it is sometimes sub-titled) is by Phats & Small whose original single front cover artwork tells us that they are on Multiply Records, but nothing about who or what is turning around or, even, why. On the remix we find two babes out for a cycle on their tandem bike. Why do they need to turn around? Because, and as if you hadn't noticed this, they appear to have gone out for their ride without first putting any clothes on (other, oddly, than scarves, socks and gloves). Saddle!

Your Mirror - Simply Red

simply red your mirror 2simply red your mirror 1So Simply Red want to sing to us about Your Mirror do they? This is odd, as on the original single cover artwork, there are no mirrors visible, just the lead singer standing in front of a sunset (or is it a sunrise?) On the remix we find a babe examining her outfit in a mirror. Is it her mirror, or is it your mirror? That is for you to know and us to puzzle about. One thing is for certain, she needs to put on a few more clothes if she is going to walk outside into the sunrise (or sunset) as the outfit she has on at the moment is only really any use in bedrooms with mirrors and little else. Echo!

The Best Christmas Of Them All - Shakin' Stevens

shakin stevens best xmas of them all 1shakin stevens best xmas of them all 2Wouldn't you credit it, Shakin' Stevens brings us another attempt at making it The Best Christmas Of Them All, which according to the original single cover front artwork simply requires Mr Stevens to stand singing into a microphone wearing a red suit and black shirt. On the remix we improve this scene by introducing a babe wearing a Santa outfit who is cooking a gingerbread house if you look closely - like you need any encouragement to do that! Ginger!

Your Christmas Wish - The Smurfs

smurfs your christmas wish 2smurfs your christmas wish 1As Christmas approaches, we bring you another festive remix, this time from The Smurfs and their Christmas Wish. It seems that what the Smurfs wish for at this time of year is to float around underneath a mushroom with a bag of presents. That might be OK, but it's not what we wish for. Instead on the remix of the original single cover artwork we find a babe wearing a Santa hat and who is biting on the panties that she seems to have removed along with the rest of her festive outfit. Wishful!

Naughty Christmas (Goblin In The Office) - Fat Les

fat les naughty christmas remixfat les naughty christmas 1It's the last working day before Christmas this year, and probably the last day in the office for many. It therefore seems appropriate that today's remixed artwork is for Naughty Christmas (Goblin In The Office) by Fat Les. The original single cover shows a babe holding some mistletoe though what she is holding it over is not revealed to us. On the remix we find a babe who has revealed almost everything to us, other than her festive hat and seasonal red heels. Naughty!

Winter Song - Chris Rea

chris rea winter song 2chris rea winter song 1On the original single cover artwork for Winter Song, we find Chris Rea apparently getting soaked by water pouring over him from a tuba floating above his head. What exactly this has gotten to do with winter remains as mysterious as the Bowler Hat being held by Mr Rea. On the remix we find a babe who is singing a song whilst in a very snowy and wintery setting. She has a nice warm scarf but seems to have forgotten most of the rest of her winter clothes. Icicles!

Red Hot - Vanessa-Mae

vanessa mae red hot remixvanessa mae red hot 1You might wonder why we are remixing Red Hot by Vanessa-Mae in December? Let's begin by examining the original single cover artwork where we find Ms Mae posing provocatively in red whilst some flames lick at her body. Not that Decembery you might think. On the remix we find a bane who is also posing provocatively in red. The thing is that she is so hot, that in order to cool down she is throwing snow at her ass. And now you can see why this remix works in the context of the winter months. Defrost!

Fantasy Island - M People

m people fantasy island 1m people fantasy island 2m people fantasy island 3
We're on a bit of a roll at the moment with remixes of artwork from M People and today we bring you one of our legendary triple-plays. On the original single cover we find the lead singer of the band lying down among some clearly fake grass and plants. Could this be on a Fantasy Island, as the title suggests? Maybe. Then again the first remix shows a different babe against a backdrop that is clearly a tropical island and put the two together and maybe there are fantasies to be lived. Finally, on the second remix we find a babe who has been sitting in the sand and is off to wash it off in the sea. She must have removed her bikini for safe keeping. Rinse!

Don't Look Any Further - M People

m people dont look any further 2m people dont look any further 1So when M People were singing Don't Look Any Further, what they seemed to have in mind was the notion that you would stop looking for whatever it was you were searching for, when you found a pink sofa. For some people that may be true, but let's make it more compelling and add a babe to the sofa and see if that has more of a desired effect when it comes to helping you to find what it was you were looking further for in the first place. Seek!
