Honey - Ohio Players

ohio players honey remixohio players honey 1We have to say, that in producing this week-long Ohio Players special, it is clear that whoever it was that originally designed their album covers had similar ideas to the team at AllBum.Art, which is to say that they liked their hot babes. Here we find a babe drizzling Honey into her mouth. On the remix little has changed other than the babe, and the fact that the honey seems to have missed her mouth and been drizzled onto her boobs instead. Miel!

Jass-Ay-Lay-Dee - Ohio Players

ohio players jass ay lay dee remixohio players jass ay lay dee 1Another in our week-long Ohio Players special. It is clear that the Jass-Ay-Lay-Dee that they have named their album after is fond of dressing provocatively in expensive cars. The remix stays with this ethos, just with a few fewer (can you have a few fewer?) things that may be constituted as clothes. At least she has left her hat on. Maybe it was sunny and she was scared of getting sunburn. Or maybe that why she is a Jass-Ay Lay-Dee and not a regular one. Miscreant!

Angel - Ohio Players

ohio players angel 2ohio players angel 1Regular visitors to the AllBum.Art web-site will recognize the fact that we do like a good Angel to remix. So in our continuing week-long Ohio Players special, it seems fitting to remix this heavenly album cover. On the original cover we find a babe who could be described as angelic, but is missing her wings. On the remix, there is nothing more than a full-blown angel sitting waiting for something or other. Maybe she is waiting for someone to start playing the album. Pensive!

Explosion - Champagne

champagne explosion remixchampagne explosion 1We like the original cover of Explosion by Champagne, as it promises so much. A babe, in high heels and stockings ready to pop a cork and let the champagne flow. Nice. On the remix we find that the bottle is open, the champagne has flowed and the stockings and heels are nowhere to be seen. Not just a remix but a time-series of events. Or just a hot blonde holding a glass of bubbly. Fizzy!

Best Of - The Fatback Band

best of fatback band remixbest of fatback band 1Another cover which scores quite highly without the remix, the Best Of The Fatback Band shows us a cute babe who is using her hand to do the job that her panties would more commonly undertake. On the remix little has changed other than that the hands of the babe concerned have moved to her hips, though the lighting does not actually reveal much more than we already knew. And what did we already know? That she's not wearing panties of course. Knickers!

Boogie Down - Blackwell

blackwell boogie down 2blackwell boogie down 1It can be disappointing to stumble across the artwork for an album which really doesn't need remixing, as where's the fun in that. So the cover for Boogie Down by Blackwell, which already features two naked babes, really does not require a remix. That doesn't mean we can't try, and on the remix we have increased the number of babes but otherwise left most things unchanged. Is it better? Who cares - we don't. Triple!

Boys In The Trees - Carly Simon

carly simon boys in the trees remixcarly simon boys in the trees 1There's nothing particularly wrong about the original album cover artwork for Boys In The Trees by Carly Simon, other than the fact that there are no boys and no trees. Instead we find Ms Simon putting on (or maybe taking off) her stockings. On the remix we have done nothing more than modernize this vista by replacing Ms Simon with a different babe who is also in the process of sorting out her stockings. Retro!

Fight Dirty - Charlie

charlie fight dirty remixcharlie fight dirty 1We can see why the original album cover artwork for Fight Dirty by Charlie would reflect the title, as what we can only presume is Ms Charlie looks as if she is ready to pull a few dirty moves if threatened. On the remix we find two babes already engaged in an epic battle and who are clearly fighting dirty. One is ripping off the clothes of the other. Having said that it seems that the one doing the ripping has already had hers ripped off her so it's all about revenge. Heave!

Point Of View - Matumbi

matumbi point of view remixmatumbi point of view 1What is Matumbi's Point Of View? A red jacket, yellow tie and black shirt on a hanger in front of a green curtain, that's what. Yes, some very obscure metaphorical analogies going on here because we assume that they have taken the point of view of someone who has no idea about how to produce covers for music. Then again, the remixed point of view may not be to everyone's taste, in fact it might be to very few people's taste unless those people happen to like looking up at hairy old women. Vertigo!

sister sledge we are family remixsister sledge we are family 1Whilst we are in a family mood, here's another sibling related remix. We Are Family was a hit for Sister Sledge in the 70s and again in the 80s and 90s as a remix, so it is only fitting that the cover of their single (and album of the same name) receives the AllBum.Art treatment. On the original cover we see the sisters, sitting around looking less than familial. On the remix we find a mother and her daughter looking equally familial but much happier than the sisters appear. Then again letting the wind blow through your hair on a sunny day is always a winner. Smile!
