Cover Artwork Remix of George Formby Leaning On A Lamp Post Original Cover Artwork of George Formby Leaning On A Lamp Post As we have said many a time at AllBum.Art, sometimes a remix is inspired by the name of a song, and sometime by a particular picture that we stumble across. In this case it was the picture that spawned the remix. After all, what other song would a babe leaning naked on a lamppost be suited to than Leaning On A Lamppost by George Formby. Actually we had never heard of the song either but the whole thing fitted like a hand in a glove. Smooth!

Footprints In The Show - Johnny Duncan And The Blue Grass Boys

Cover Artwork Remix of Johnny Duncan Footprints In The Snow Original Cover Artwork of Johnny Duncan Footprints In The Snow There are two things basically wrong with the original cover artwork for Footprints In The Snow by Johnny Duncan And The Blue Grass Boys. Firstly there is no sign of the Blue Grass Boys, only Mr Duncan is visible. Secondly, and most importantly, there is no snow and related to that, there are no footprints either. The remix rectifies this second point as we find that there are many footprints in the snow and we can also see the babe who has made them. Chilling!

Suzy Snowflake - Rosemary Clooney

Cover Artwork Remix of Rosemary Clooney Suzy Snowflake Original Cover Artwork of Rosemary Clooney Suzy Snowflake You always know you are onto a winner with the original artwork for a song comes with a sticker that says 'Rudolf Recommends'! And so it is with Suzy Snowflake by Rosemary Clooney. The original cover suggests that Ms Snowflake is perhaps a star-shaped snowflake with a woman's head. The remix suggests otherwise, and instead proposes that Suzy is a regular girl who just enjoys protecting her modesty with a snowflake. Who is right? Maybe we shall never know, or even care? Tally!

Stairway Of Love - Michael Holliday

Cover Artwork Remix of Michael Holliday Stairway Of Love Original Cover Artwork of Michael Holliday Stairway Of Love A Stairway Of Love, that is what Michael Holliday sings about in this 1950s crooner style song. And who could not forgive Mr Holliday for putting his croony face on the cover of his single? But surely something better can be done? Of course it can. That is why we here at AllBum.Art exist, to serve your remixed artwork needs. So we have replaced Mr Holliday with a real stairway of love. One that we would love to climb and reach the top. Ascend!

To Know Him Is To Love Him - The Teddy Bears

Cover Artwork Remix of Teddy Bears To Know Him Is To Love Him Original Cover Artwork of Teddy Bears To Know Him Is To Love Him To Know Him Is To Love Him. Matt here in the AllBum.Art design department seems to think that this song is written about him. But as Matt was not even born when The Teddy Bears wrote this song in 1958, we think he has ideas above his station. What can we say about the remix of the cover artwork that doesn't speak for itself? Well there's a teddy bear, and a girl getting to know him. If her name were Teddy, she'd be a Teddy bare, so then there would be two of them. Double!

What Are You Doing New Year's Eve - The Orioles

Cover Artwork Remix of Orioles What Are You Doing New Years Eve Original Cover Artwork of Orioles What Are You Doing New Years Eve What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? That is the question we are being asked by The Orioles. This is another single that is so ancient, it does not have any original cover art. The only artwork is for the original 7" single label which we have lovingly re-created in it's original dark blue and gold. In the remix we see a New Year's Eve party in full swing. Whilst the babes may not be that tasty, there are so many to choose from, there must be something for everyone. Selection!

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer - Various Artists
Sunday, 21 December, 2014, 05:51 - Singles Released Before 1960, Christmas Crackers

Original Cover Artwork of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer No remix as such here as Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer has been covered by so many artists, but none of them have produced a cover for their version. This cover is therefore a generic version that can be used on any of the versions you might have in your music library. In it we see someone who has been doing their college art homework and has taken an unusual approach to modelling Rudolph. They have cut out pieces of what must be felt to produce the antlers and as for the nose, well more felt and a red bauble. The best part is the canvas they have used. The question that remains unanswered is whether the canvas took the artwork out to a Christmas party with her, or whether she just stayed at home. We think Rudolph would have encouraged her to head out. Shiny!

Presents For Christmas - Solomon Burke

Cover Artwork Remix of Solomon Burke Presents For Christmas Original Cover Artwork of Solomon Burke Presents For Christmas This song is so old, it doesn't have proper original cover art. Presents For Christmas by Solomon Burke dates back to a time when printing was expensive and so the only cover was the middle of the 7 inch single itself. We've extrapolated this to form a more modern cover. Then we've remixed it to form an even more modern cover in which there are actually some presents for Christmas. Some of the presents are in boxes and wrapped up. One, though, is largely unwrapped. Thorough!

I'm Gonna Lasso Santa Claus - Little Brenda Lee

Cover Artwork Remix of Brenda Lee Lasso Santa Original Cover Artwork of Brenda Lee Lasso Santa I don't think folk across the nation would be happy with Little Brenda Lee if she were to carry out the threat inherent in the title of her song I'm Gonna Lasso Santa Claus. The very thought of having St Nick tied up and unable to attend to his duties is abhorrent to children the world over. Santa, however, is not a child and whilst lassoing him may be one way to get his attention, on the remix we see an alternative way. Less lasso, more leg... Gotcha!

Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry

Cover Artwork Remix of Chuck Berry Run Rudolph Run Original Cover Artwork of Chuck Berry Run Rudolph Run Chuck Berry issues a wise mantra to the most famous reindeer in his song Run Rudolph Run, but the cover of this 1958 song does nothing to explain why it is that the one with the shiny red nose should travel so quickly. Is it to deliver presents on time? No! As we can clearly see in the remix, it is because a sexy babe in a bikini is chasing after reindeer with a shotgun, of course. That makes complete sense. Pull!
