dana dawson show me 2dana dawson show me 1What is it that Dana Dawson is referring to when she tells us to Show Me? She is clearly wishing us to show her something or other, but it's not clear what. Nor is she showing us anything much. On the remix we find a babe who seems very happy to show us, in this case to show us that she is happy to show her boobs to anyone in the neighborhood who wants to see them, whilst traveling along an escalator. Each to his or her own. Hark!

Your Woman - White Town

white town your woman remixwhite town your woman 1Could there possibly be a cover for a single more boring and pointless than that for Your Woman by White Town? What do we learn from the original cover? Nothing, other than that someone in the band (or maybe a friend of theirs) thought that putting the title of the song and the name of the band in a boring green font, on a boring white background made sense. What they should have done is something more like our remix, which shows a guy looking up at a babe that may well not be his girl, but may be your woman. Our our woman. Or whatever. Either way she's very cute. Happy!

The Banana Song - G.S.P.

gsp the banana song 2gsp the banana song 1When G.S.P. sing The Banana Song, there's plenty of banana mayhem to be had, as the song is a remix of the title of the theme tune of the late 60's children's program the Banana Splits. The fact that Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork appear on the original cover artwork is not, therefore, that surprising. The remix does away with the original cast and instead we find a cute babe holding some bananas, which is, we think, an equally valid picture for the cover of the song. Musa!

Glitterball - Simple Minds

simple minds glitterball remixsimple minds glitterball 1When Simple Minds sing about a Glitterball, you might expect that there would be some indication of the glitterball on the cover of their single. But no, instead we find the band walking in front of a number of car garages which makes no real sense at all. Thankfully, us here at AllBum.Art have provided a remix that does have a glitterball on it, and to go with it is a babe holding it still so that it doesn't roll off. Handy!

Black Cat - Janet Jackson

janet jackson black cat remixjanet jackson black cat 1Another single that in theory scores full marks, as on the cover of Black Cat by Janet Jackson we find Ms Jackson posing with a black feline. So no point remixing this one then? Probably. But, as you might have guessed by now, we like naked babes rather than clothed ones, and so on the remix we have just replaced the picture with one of a babe who is not strictly naked, but is instead wearing a black cat outfit which consists of little more than some cats' ears, black thigh boots and a long black tail. Meow!

Street Dreams - Nas

nas street dreams 2nas street dreams 1We think Nas was onto a good idea when he put together the cover for his single Street Dreams, though it's a little back to front. On the cover we find someone waving a dollar bill out of the window of a car to entice a young man. On the remix we find a similar situation, though one that has progressed some. We think that someone waved a dollar bill (or more) out of the window of their car and they enticed a naked babe to come on over and put her head through the window. Or something like that anyway. Sterical!

deacon blue queen of the new year 2deacon blue queen of the new year 1What better way to begin 2016 than with a remix of a song about the New Year. And so we bring you Queen Of The New Year by Deacon Blue. On the original cover we find some kind of gold plated artistic rendering of something or other. On the remix we find a princess who is on her way to a New Year party where she will no doubt put on the crystal slipper and become someone's queen. All sounds so romantic, doesn't it not? January!

A triple-play remix from Queen in the form of their track A Winter's Tale. The original cover shows what might be a chilly scene, though with the lighting as it is, it's difficult to tell. Upon this scene are superimposed some words. Very wintry! The first remix shows a chapter from a winter's tale that has neither just begun or just ended, but has reached the point where a cute babe has ended up wearing just her boots and her coat whilst her man is still fully clothed. The second remix shows a complete winter's tale from start to finish, as a babe undresses in the snow. Story!

That Woman's Got Me Drinking - Shane MacGowan

shane macgowan that womans got me drinking remixshane macgowan that womans got me drinking 1You might wonder what a remix of the punky song That Woman's Got Me Drinking by Shane MacGowan is doing sandwiched between various seasonal songs. Well the answer is a simple one, as lead singer of the Pogues, Mr MacGowan is the voice behind that holiday hit Fairytale Of New York. And whilst we don't have a remix of that single, we do have one for this single. We're not sure why the woman on the remix has got Mr MacGowan drinking so, but we're led to believe that he doesn't need much tempting (obviously) and after all, she is holding a cup to drink from. Storytime!

Winter - Tori Amos

tori amos winter remixtori amos winter 1What do a white horse (with no tail), white rubber boots and a silver PVC jacket have in common? They are, apparently, what in the wonderful world of Tori Amos represent Winter, or at least that is what we are led to believe if we take the cover of her single at face value. For us, winter is far more about hot chicks hanging about in snowy forests wearing nothing more than gloves and boots to keep them warm. Which is what the remixed cover of this single shows. How's about that then? Drop!
