Cover Artwork Remix of Frosty The Snowman 2 Original Cover Artwork of Frosty The ShowmanThere are many, many versions of Frosty The Snowman by a myriad of artists including Gene Autry, Perry Como, The Ronettes and Johnny Mathis. But as so many of these versions were after-thoughts, or cynical attempts to sell records at Christmas, and not released as singles in their own right, many don't have original cover artwork. This remix is not therefore a remix because there is no original work to compare. Instead, it is just a random cover that could be used for any version of Frosty The Snowman.

The first remix is nothing too rude. The picture of the lady sitting on Frosty's knee used here was taken from the front cover of a magazine called 'Flirt' and is by the famous 50's pinup artist Peter Driben. There are several artists who have released Frosty The Snowman as a song but this album cover is aimed fairly and squarely at those pre-1960s versions such those belonging to Gene Autry (1950), Perry Como (1957) or Danny Kaye, in the days when pinups were as sexy as it got.

In the second remixed version of the cover we see a very naughty Frosty who has obviously taken the notion of
we'll have some fun now, before I melt away

very literally indeed. Who would have thought that snowmen were capable of that kind of fun, eh? Chilling!
