Cover Artwork Remix of Dire Straits Twisting By The Pool Original Cover Artwork of Dire Straits Twisting By The Pool Leaving the beach temporarily, we find ourselves back at the hotel, and wouldn't you know it, there are folk Twisting By The Pool listening to Dire Straits. Sadly, when they made the cover for the single, the band forgot the cardinal rule, which is to at least put something on the cover that illustrates the song, or a picture of the band, or better still both. Thankfully the pool at our hotel has provided the perfect picture with which to exact a remix. Bikini!

On The Beach - Cliff Richard

Cover Artwork Remix of Cliff Richard On The Beach Original Cover Artwork of Cliff Richard On The Beach We made it, summer is here and we're On The Beach with Cliff Richard, the English Elvis, as English people apparently dubbed him. On the original cover we see Mr Richard whose head seems oddly dispositioned dancing on the beach with a babe of the era. In the remix we focus more on the beach babe of the era who is now sitting under her umbrella in a most tempting, teasing, pose. Thrilling!

Hot Hot Hot - Arrow

Cover Artwork Remix of Arrow Hot Hot Hot Original Cover Artwork of Arrow Hot Hot Hot So here we are, on our way to the beach flying on a Groovejet when the pilot comes on the tannoy to announce the weather at the destination. Is it warm and sunny? No. Is it hot and sticky? No. According to the captain it's Hot Hot Hot, which is exactly the forecast that Arrow gave in his 1980s song and album of the same name. How fortuitous that the remix shows the weather at the destination and even better that it shows three hot hot hot babes waiting there. Sizzle!

Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) - Spiller

Cover Artwork Remix of Spiller Bextor Groovejet Original Cover Artwork of Spiller Bextor Groovejet Now that the summer is with us, it's time to head out of the city and hit the beach. But how do we travel? By Greyhound? By Amtrak? No, by Groovejet of course! The original cover of Groovejet (It This Ain't Love) by Spiller shows a desert island in the setting sun - just the kind of place that a Groovejet should fly to. All we would add to this delightful destination is a naked babe and would you guess it, there she is in the remix! Marooned!

Long Hot Summer - The Style Council

Cover Artwork Remix of Style Council Long Hot Summer Original Cover Artwork of Style Council Long Hot Summer Yes, summer is now officially here and let's hope it's a Long Hot Summer which is what The Style Council hoped it would be. The original single cover shows them sitting around on a wall in Paris on a sticky summer day. The remix shows a feisty French babe wearing nothing but high heels and an overcoat sitting around on a bench on an equally sticky summer day in Paris. How do we know it's Paris - why, by the shape of the streetlights of course! Eye-full!

One Day I'll Fly Away - Randy Crawford

Cover Artwork Remix of Randy Crawford One Day Original Cover Artwork of Randy Crawford One Day Ah yes, the song made infamous by the misguided miming of a million drag artists, One Day I'll Fly Away was probably one of the biggest hits of Randy Crawford. The original cover shows a happy, smiling Ms Crawford which in one way is good (it shows the artist) but in another doesn't really reflect the melancholy melody of the song. The remix shows an angel, stuck on the ground, who longs to fly back to heaven. Angelic!

Never Had A Dream Come True - S Club 7

Cover Artwork Remix of S Club 7 Never Had A Dream Come True Original Cover Artwork of S Club 7 Never Had A Dream Come True S Club 7 sang Never Had A Dream Come True back in 2000. And it's easy to see why. On the cover of the single, the band seem to be lounging around doing very little rather than getting up of their butts and going to find the dream they so desperately seek. We have made it easier for you by including a dream girl on the remixed cover. Now if only she could come true... Tantalizing!

I'm In Heaven - Jason Nevins Presents U.K.N.Y. Featuring Holly James

Cover Artwork Remix of Jason Nevins Ukny Holly James Heaven Original Cover Artwork of Jason Nevins Ukny Holly James Heaven Isn't it great when artists co-operate on a single. Maybe. But then again when the name of the artist becomes Jason Nevins Presents U.K.N.Y. Feat. Holly James, perhaps that's a bit too much co-operation. The original cover of I'm In Heaven shows Holly James in a purple hue. Nice. But better still, the remix shows an angel who appears to have fallen to Earth, so not strictly in heaven, but if you bumped into her we are sure she would take you there with her on her way back up. Vertical!

Doop - Doop

Cover Artwork Remix of Doop Doop Original Cover Artwork of Doop Doop This remix of Doop by Doop is just a thinly veiled excuse to use a picture of a thinly veiled pin-up babe. Beyond that there's not much to add except to say, 'doop doop deeby dabby doo-doo-doop' ad nauseum until such time as the song is so deeply engraved in your brain that the only thing you can think of day, night and all times inbetween is doop and yet you don't actually know what doop means which makes it all the more doopy. Doop!

My Girl - Otis Redding

Cover Artwork Remix of Otis Redding My Girl Original Cover Artwork of Otis Redding My Girl Today we're talkin' 'bout My Girl, by Otis Redding. Red, they say, is the color of passion, which is probably why Mr Redding is pictured against a red background. Either that, or whoever designed the cover of the single recognized the connection between red and Mr Redding's name. In the remix we see the girl about who he is singing. Also in red. It's clear to see why he would want to sing about her and be so possessive with all that 'my girl' tangent, isn't it? Scarlet!
