Cover Artwork Remix of Chas Dave Snooker Loopy Original Cover Artwork of Chas Dave Snooker Loopy It's always good to receive a user submitted 'fanmade' entry. This one by The Matchroom Mob With Chas & Dave comes from Steve Virgo of Liverpool, England who says:
Snooker Loopy nuts are we is how the song goes, but who or what is nuts? On the remix I have put a sexy babe on the snooker table instead of the balls, which suits my nuts far better.

Thanks Steve, that makes about as little sense as the song itself. Cue!

Tied Up Too Tight - Hard-Fi

Cover Artwork Remix of Hard Fi Tied Up Tight Original Cover Artwork of Hard Fi Tied Up Tight You have to sigh a little when a band (in this case Hard-Fi) release a single called Tied Up Too Tight and on the cover have nothing other than a dirty van on it. What a missed opportunity for mayhem, an opportunity that we at AllBum.Art are not going to turn down. Open up the doors to that van and what do we have loitering in the back, why only a sexy babe who has obviously been tied up too tight. Obviously!

International Rescue - Fuzzbox

Cover Artwork Remix of Fuzzbox International Rescue Original Cover Artwork of Fuzzbox International Rescue A song about the Thunderbirds, that wasn't in any way connected with the original series or the later movie might seem an odd theme for a song. International Rescue by Fuzzbox is such a song and the cover scores very highly in that it features a member of the band in an outfit that would befit a member of the international rescue team. The remix adds two large things. We'll leave you to work out which things they are...

Hey, Good Lookin' - Hank Williams

Cover Artwork Remix of Hank Williams Hey Good Lookin Original Cover Artwork of Hank Williams Hey Good Lookin Hey, Good Lookin' may be a single released by Hank Williams in 1951 but can still be heard on many a mid-west radio station and in karaoke bars across the nation to this day. This is because the title produces images of a good lookin' woman, and such images are timeless. Sadly the original cover doesn't produce such an image. The remix does though and answers the question on the second line of the song, 'what you got cookin'? To which the answer seems to be a raspberry tart...

The Phantom Of The Opera - Various Artists

Cover Artwork Remix of Phantom Of The Opera Original Cover Artwork of Phantom Of The Opera We had an email from Timothy Blenkinsop-Smithe of Olde England who said:
Your web-site is replete with alternative artwork for very low-brow songs that should be in the gutter. You need to add some high-brow content to your site through classical music and opera.

Timothy sent us this remix for the soundtrack album of The Phantom Of The Opera as an illustration of what he called 'a more aesthetically blended visualization'. Whatever floats your boat Timothy!

Cover Artwork Remix of Duran Union Of The Snake Original Cover Artwork of Duran Union Of The Snake Following our featured artist week of Duran Duran remixes, this cover for the single Union Of The Snake was submitted by Kinki Westin (surely not a real name!) of England, who says:
Your last Duran Duran remixes were rather vulgar and crude. Mine is classy, like the frame of a picture dabbed gregariously in lithe, unquenched ink.

Hmmm.. whatever that means is not clear, but thanks for the remix anyway Kinki. Slithery!

Cover Artwork Remix of Prince Kiss Original Cover Artwork of Prince Kiss The second of this week's featured artist remixes comes from Prince And The Revolution. The original cover of (ne-me-ne-me-ne-me-ne-me-ne) Kiss has a black and white Mr Nelson posing in a kind of male Bolero top looking about as masculine as Homer Simpson in a tutu. The remix shows a sexy babe blowing a kiss. Ne-me-ne-me-ne-me-ne-me-ne to that!

Prince And The New Power Generation - Cream

Cover Artwork Remix of Prince Cream Original Cover Artwork of Prince Cream The start of another of AllBum.Art's featured artist week begins with this remix of Cream by Prince And The New Power Generation. Unquestionably one of the most obvious remixes that has ever been attempted. Instead of a photo of Mr Nelson standing in a highly sexualized position over a babe lying on her back, we see some cream. Pourfect!

Three Of A Perfect Pair - King Crimson

Cover Artwork Remix of King Crimson 3 Perfect Pair Original Cover Artwork of King Crimson 3 Perfect Pair There is an obvious remix for any cover artwork for an album called Three Of A Perfect Pair, focusing, as would be expected, on the perfect pair analogy. But for this remix of the 1980s album by King Crimson, we have chosen a less beaten path and simply replaced the odd symbol with three babes, all of who have a perfect pair. Now that's what we call a remix. Sextuplet!

Mirror Mirror - Dollar

Cover Artwork Remix of Dollar Mirror Mirror Original Cover Artwork of Dollar Mirror Mirror Mirror Mirror might be a line from the the De La Soul song Me, Myself and I, but this remix is for the obscure but equally reflective song by Dollar. The original cover scores very well in that it not only features the band themselves, but they are reflected in a mirror. The remix does away with the band, and so loses points on that score, but scores more highly as a young version of the wicked witch from Snow White at a time when the mirror may have truthfully responded that she was the fairest of them all. Sceptered!
