Goodbye - The Coral

Cover Artwork Remix of The Coral Goodbye Original Cover Artwork of The Coral Goodbye 'Yes', said in the kind of creepy slow way that is commonly used in the Simpsons to represent confusidity in the face of embiggened disunderstanding. What exactly The Coral were on when they produced the cover for their single Goodbye, is anyone's guess, though such guesswork is probably best left to the authorities who deal with people who have ingested such things. The remix is much clearer, it's a babe waving goodbye. With no clothes on. Insufflation!

She Blinded Me With Science - Thomas Dolby

Cover Artwork Remix of Thomas Dolby She Blinded Me With Science Original Cover Artwork of Thomas Dolby She Blinded Me With Science It's interesting, in an uninteresting kind of way, to wonder how Thomas Dolby managed to write and record this song if, indeed, as he states in the title, She Blinded Me With Science. Surely if he had been blinded, as he states that he was, he would no longer be able to find the right keys on the keyboard, nor strings on a guitar. Maybe that explains the terrible music. Anyhow, for your enjoyment, we have a remix that shows one babe still in the process of trying to blind a second babe and we know this has something to do with science as the first babe is wearing a lab coat. Physical!

Ain't Too Proud To Beg - The Temptations

Cover Artwork Remix of Temptations Aint Too Proud To Beg Original Cover Artwork of Temptations Aint Too Proud To Beg Another remix for The Temptations. This time it's their 1966 single, Ain't Too Proud To Beg. The original cover is somewhat boring, where the word 'somewhat' should be replaced by the word 'totally', and the word 'boring' should be replaced by the word 'terrible'. The remix shows a babe down on her knees, begging for something or other. Perhaps she's begging for someone to give her a hand up because she's finding it difficult to walk in those heels. Help!

Juicy Fruit - Mtume

Cover Artwork Remix of Mtume Juicy Fruit Original Cover Artwork of Mtume Juicy Fruit The original cover of Juicy Fruit by Mtume shows the band looking less than fruity, and certainly not particularly juicy. Thank goodness then for the remix in which we find a juicy looking babe bending over towards a bowl of fruit, which are most certainly fruity. Thinking about it, the babe is quite fruity too, making the whole thing far more appropriate, or not, depending on your view on bananas and all that. Apple!

Move Your Ass - Scooter

Cover Artwork Remix of Scooter Move Your Ass Original Cover Artwork of Scooter Move Your Ass Blowing a horn loudly in your ear is a sure-fire method of getting you to jump high in the air and Move Your Ass, which is what Scooter are asking us to do on the cover of their single. A picture of a horn is one thing, but what about a picture of the ass that has been moved, and its resting position. We are happy to oblige as that is exactly what can be seen on the remixed cover artwork. Leap!

Living In Danger - Ace Of Base

Cover Artwork Remix of Ace Of Base Living In Danger Original Cover Artwork of Ace Of Base Living In Danger We all live in danger to some extent, so when Ace Of Base sing about Living In Danger, you might expect a higher level of danger than the background peril that we all put up with. But on their cover there is no indication of any danger that they might be experiencing, other than the danger of boring everyone with such a dull piece of artwork. That is why on the remix we find a babe who is quite literally living in danger. That is to day that the clothes (if you can call them that) are comprised entirely of danger. Now how much more danger-related can you get than that? Risky!

Peek-A-Boo - The New Vaudeville Band

Cover Artwork Remix of New Vaudeville Band Peek A Boo Original Cover Artwork of New Vaudeville Band Peek A Boo Going back in time to the 1960s for this remix of Peek-A-Boo by The New Vaudeville Band. The original cover sees the band members sitting in, or standing next to, a car that has come even further back in time (though not using any kind of flux capacitor). Now Peek-A-Boo is a game often played with babies where one hides and just reveals a small part of yourself to the glee of the child concerned. Our version has a babe who has just revealed a small part of herself, to the glee of the childish mentalities of the staff here. Game on!

5 Colours In Her Hair - McFly

Cover Artwork Remix of Mcfly 5 Colours In Her Hair Original Cover Artwork of Mcfly 5 Colours In Her Hair She has 5 Colours In Her Hair, at least she does if McFly are to be believed. But other than looking like a load of teenage jerks, the original cover material does not illustrate what this might look like. Is it auburn, blonde, brown, red and grey? Well, not it's not, as we can see in the remix. The five colors in her hair are, in fact, blue, pink, red, yellow and green. Rainbow!

Show Me - Dana Dawson

Cover Artwork Remix of Dana Dawson Show Me Original Cover Artwork of Dana Dawson Show Me What is it that Dana Dawson is referring to when she tells us to Show Me? She is clearly wishing us to show her something or other, but it's not clear what. Nor is she showing us anything much. On the remix we find a babe who seems very happy to show us, in this case to show us that she is happy to show her boobs to anyone in the neighborhood who wants to see them, whilst traveling along an escalator. Each to his or her own. Hark!

The Banana Song - G.S.P.

Thursday, 21 January, 2016, 05:19 - Singles Of The 1990s, Single Covers, Safe For Work

Cover Artwork Remix of Gsp The Banana Song Original Cover Artwork of Gsp The Banana Song When G.S.P. sing The Banana Song, there's plenty of banana mayhem to be had, as the song is a remix of the title of the theme tune of the late 60's children's program the Banana Splits. The fact that Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork appear on the original cover artwork is not, therefore, that surprising. The remix does away with the original cast and instead we find a cute babe holding some bananas, which is, we think, an equally valid picture for the cover of the song. Musa!
