My Favorite Mistake - Sheryl Crow

sheryl crow my favorite mistake remixsheryl crow my favorite mistake 1It is such a shame. If only Sheryl Crow had put a little more thought into the original cover of her single My Favorite Mistake, she might have scored top marks on the AllBum.It scoring scheme. But she didn't, and instead of trying to illustrate what her favorite mistake was, she just vainly included a picture of herself. On the remix we see one of our favorite mistakes: some babe has bent over to talk to her teacher and her pants have fallen down. Mistake?

See Through - Pentatonix

pentatonix see through remixpentatonix see through 1You can probably see where we are going here without even getting as far as looking at the pictures. With a song named See Through, there is only one direction that a remix of the cover of this Pentatonix single can go. So let's just go there and get it done with. The original cover sees nothing more than a few light bulbs on a wall. In the remix some babe has gotten in the way of the bulbs and is blocking the view. Or perhaps she is the view. See through. Translucent!

No Limit - 2 Unlimited

2 unlimited no limit 12 unlimited no limit 22 unlimited no limit remix
A triple-play remix for 2 Unlimited and their song No Limit. The original cover shows not much except a space ship. No space cadets though. The first remix shows a space cadet babe for whom contortion is clearly not a limit as she is bent into the most unlimited position. The second shows a babe clinging to one of the space ships and wouldn't you know it, the radiation from the engines has melted her clothes (though oddly not her high heel shoes or other plastic accoutrements). Gamma!

Spring Rain - Silvetti

silvetti spring rain remixsilvetti spring rain 1Spring Rain (or Lluvia De Primavera as it was originally known) was a 1977 hit for Bebu Silvetti (or Silvetti for short). We tell you this as this is one of those tracks that is so obscure that you might think we had made it up otherwise just so that we could remix it. The original cover shows a babe, in the rain, holding an umbrella and little else. The remix shows the same thing, except this time the babe is holding an umbrella and wearing little else. Brolly!

Walking On The Moon - The Police

police walking on the moon remixpolice walking on the moon 1The third AllBum.Art remix for The Police. According to the band, giant steps are what you talk, Walking On The Moon. But we learn nothing of this on the original cover of the single, only that grey, yellow and cyan make for a jarring color scheme. On the remix, we see exactly what we would expect. A babe. Walking on the moon. Naked of course. Now where has she put her space suit? Vacuum!

Pretty Flamingo - Manfred Mann

manfred mann pretty flamingo remixmanfred mann pretty flamingo 1Overall, we give a thumbs up to the original cover of Pretty Flamingo by Manfred Mann. Why? Well it contains a hot babe wearing clothes that resemble the color scheme of flamingos and carrying some feathers. No sign of the band themselves, but that can be overlooked. The remix, then, doesn't offer much new, except that the babe in question is wearing far fewer clothes. The feathers remain, though. Down!

Something Happened On The Way To Heaven - Phil Collins

phil collins something happened on the way to heaven remixphil collins something happened on the way to heaven 1Another angelic remix from AllBum.Art as we find out that Something Happened On The Way To Heaven. According to the original cover artwork, what seems to have happened is that some old codger got grumpy. Perhaps that could happen on the way to heaven, but in the remix, a more plausible story is told. It seems that an angel has lost her way and has fallen from the realms and become more demonic. Mixed!

Lay Your Hands On Me - Bon Jovi

bon jovi lay your hands on me 2bon jovi lay your hands on me 1Not the first remix of a piece of cover artwork for Bon Jovi. This time it is his 1989 single Lay Your Hands On Me. Quite how the picture of Mr Jovi on the original cover of the single is meant either to represent the laying on of hands, or enticing you in to wanting to lay your hands on him is unclear. In the remix we see a practical example of laying on of hands which is equally representational and enticing in equal measure. Grab!

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida - Iron Butterfly

iron butterfly garden of eden remixiron butterfly garden of eden 1In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is, as every Iron Butterfly fan knows, just a corruption of the phrase, 'in the garden of Eden'. The original cover of the album (and single) do nothing to portray the biblical scene that you would normally associate with the garden of Eden. Thankfully, this has been corrected in the remix as we see a girl wearing what most people would agree was what Eve wore, and doing what most people believe Eve did, a.k.a. taking an apple from a tree. Biblical!

Skinny Dippin' - Vengaboys

vengaboys skinny dippin 2vengaboys skinny dippin 1A user submitted entry from Pim Weermuizje from the Netherlands. Pim has sent us his remix of Skinny Dippin' by Vengaboys. Pim tells us that this was actually a B-side, but was very popular nonetheless. The original cover sees the Vengaboys (of which at least 2 appear to be girls) posing by a swimming pool. The remix shows a guy in the sea and a girl getting undressed, both about to go dippin in a skinny fashion. Thank Pim. Hydration!
