The Model - Kraftwerk

Cover Artwork Remix of Kraftwerk Model Original Cover Artwork of Kraftwerk Model According to this 1981 single from German electronic popsters Kraftwerk, "She's a model and she's looking good". At least that is how the opening line of their single The Model goes. But just who is this model, and why is she looking so good? The original cover offers no insight unless the model in question is a model of computer (which it could have been). The remixed cover shows a suitable model, looking good. I'd like to take her home, that's understood...

Hanky Panky - Madonna

Cover Artwork Remix of Madonna Hanky Panky Original Cover Artwork of Madonna Hanky Panky Not the first remix for Madonna (in fact the third so far). Ms Ciccone's 1990 single Hanky Panky is perfectly poised for a remix what with it very explicitly mentioning a little 'spanky'. And so Ms Ciccone's visage has been explicitly replaced by a perfectly poised maid, ready to be spanked by her master. Is the girl a cantankerous yank? Frankly, it doesn't matter. Swanky!

The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?) - Ylvis

Cover Artwork Remix of Ylvis The Fox Original Cover Artwork of Ylvis The Fox What do you imagine when you think of Norway? Is it snow covered pine forests? Reindeer? Whale fishing? Well think again. Think 'ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringading' and you're getting warmer (global warming no doubt). Norwegian comedy due Ylvis have brought the sound of The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?) to the hot 100 and in return we at AllBum.Art have remixed the cover of their single to show a more foxy fox! Fair exchange is no robbery.

Stupid Girl - Garbage

Cover Artwork Remix of Garbage Stupid Girl Original Cover Artwork of Garbage Stupid Girl The original cover for the 1990s single Stupid Girl by Garbage deserves to go where the band's name suggests, in the trash can. Has there ever been a less interesting cover for a single whose title holds out so much promise? Probably not. So the AllBum.Art team has remixed it to show what the song is talking about - a stupid girl. Why is she stupid? She is naked except for some snake-skin boots and she has a snake around her neck. It it just us, or is that not a recipe designed to make the snake angry? How stupid can you be?

Goody Two Shoes - Adam Ant

Cover Artwork Remix of Adam Ant Goody Shoes Original Cover Artwork of Adam Ant Goody 2 Shoes Another submission from a fan of the site (if 'fan' and 'this site' aren't inherently contradictory). This comes from Alan Morris from Manchester in the UK. Alan says,
Goody Two Shoes is a song that has always held a special meaning for me. I met my first love when this was playing at a disco and she had the most amazingly sexy legs and shoes. So a remix to remind me of those days seemed necessary. But don't tell the wife!

OK Alan, we won't say a word!

Bus Stop - The Hollies

Cover Artwork Remix of Bus Stop Hollies Original Cover Artwork of Bus Stop Hollies Another cover art remix prompted by a picture rather than by the song. What could be more normal than a woman standing at a Bus Stop with her panties around her ankles? Where on earth did these pinup artists get their ideas. Regardless, it's a good chance for a remix of a golden oldie, in this case a song from The Hollies whose original cover was OK but has no bus stop in it, natch.

Somebody Else's Guy - Jocelyn Brown

Cover Artwork Remix of Jocelyn Somebody Else Original Cover Artwork of Jocelyn Somebody Else Despite not being a big hit in the charts, Somebody Else's Guy by Jocelyn Brown is one of those songs you just can't help bobbing along to. The remix of the cover is just simply pulling open the blinds of the original cover to reveal the girl behind. With the blinds open we can see that she is rather hot, though her temperature will no doubt be lowered by the sparsity of clothing that she's wearing.

Whip It - Devo

Cover Artwork Remix of Devo Whip It Original Cover Artwork of Devo Whip It Whip It by Devo is one of those songs that will probably be played forever more at discos and parties across the nation. Why? Because the idea of 'whipping it good' provides an image that most party-goers would see as being the next steps to a successful night after the party has ended. But unlike the original cover for the single, it isn't standing around a globe of the world that they have in mind, but more like the remixed version no doubt!

Legs - ZZ Top

Cover Artwork Remix of Zztop Legs Original Cover Artwork of Zztop Legs Just a simple update of this classic 1980s rock track from ZZ Top. The original cover does a pretty good job of identifying the kind of legs that the Top boys are singing about. But that was nearly 30 years ago. Today, skirts are shorter and heels are higher and the remixed cover does a good job of reflecting today's more extreme leg related situation, together with a bit of cleavage for that truly 2010s feel. Oh, and we've done away with the whole stupid car thing as well. Eliminator: what were they thinking of?

Bounce - Calvin Harris Featuring Kelis

Cover Artwork Remix of Calvin Harris Kelis Bounce Original Cover Artwork of Calvin Harris Kelis Bounce If ever a song title was rife for a-remixing, it has to be Calvin Harris with his song Bounce (featuring Kelis). The original cover shows Mr Harris wearing some rather odd looking sunglasses that would appear to pretty much cut out all the light. The remix shows us why he needed them as he's obviously trying to shield his eyes from the de-light of the bouncy jiggling jugs of the pretty babe on the cover.
