Cover Artwork Remix of Tom Petty Learning To Fly Original Cover Artwork of Tom Petty Learning To Fly If it wasn't enough that Pink Floyd have a single called Learning To Fly, but so, as we continue our remixes dedicated to flying, does Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers! On the original cover we find the band standing around (what is it with bands that do this on their covers). On the remix we find yet another babe keen to gain her wings and learn to pilot an aircraft. Nice uniform - no doubt she has broken a few hearts in her time. Let's just hope she doesn't break the aircraft. Brace!

Cover Artwork Remix of Cast Flying Original Cover Artwork of Cast Flying August is upon us, and so people begin to disappear on their summer vacations. To celebrate their departure, we begin the month with a series of remixes dedicated to Flying, with a song with exactly that title from band Cast. On the original cover we find the band members standing around looking at something in the sky. On the remix we find a hot aviation babe standing by the tail of an aircraft. She may not by flying yet, but surely someone will whisk her off her feet soon. Aviate!

Power Of A Woman - Eternal

Cover Artwork Remix of Eternal Power Of A Woman Original Cover Artwork of Eternal Power Of A Woman Eternal sing sweetly for us about the Power Of A Woman as the sit sweetly in sepia-toned silence. Now this may be a powerful picture to some people, but we prefer our power more obvious and so on the remix we have replaced the girl band with a woman whose power is so strong, she is connected up to the electricity grid. Whether she is consuming or supplying the power is, somehow, irrelevant and so the only question remains as to how many Volts she could generate. High Energy!

Stop And Stare - One Republic

Cover Artwork Remix of One Republic Stop And Stare Original Cover Artwork of One Republic Stop And Stare What would make you Stop And Stare? Well, according to One Republic, if the cover of their single is to be believed, it is the chiselled faces of the band themselves. Sadly, that doesn't work for us and so on the remix we find a babe who would certainly make you stop and stare if you bumped into her on a dark night, or indeed on a light one. She actually seems to be staring back which is quite scary. Stop and Scare?

High - Lighthouse Family

Cover Artwork Remix of Lighthouse Family High Original Cover Artwork of Lighthouse Family High It would seem that the Lighthouse Family may be vertically challenged. The other remix on the AllBum.Art web-site is 'Lifted' and this one is called High. The original cover may show the band members standing on a very high platform, or they may be on the ground, it is difficult to tell. On the remix, however, the babe in question is standing on very high platform heels that must be 8 inches or more. Lofty!

Blue Jean - David Bowie

Cover Artwork Remix of David Bowie Blue Jean Original Cover Artwork of David Bowie Blue Jean David Bowie is a regular source of remixes here at AllBum.Art so finding Blue Jean here is no real surprise. What is surprising is that the original cover, though very blue, does not introduce us to Jean, whoever she may be. On the remix we find a babe who may, or may not, be called Jean. But she is wearing denim. Whether she is wearing blue jeans is less clear but does that part of the story matter so much? Indigo!

Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band

Cover Artwork Remix of Starland Vocal Band Afternoon Delight Original Cover Artwork of Starland Vocal Band Afternoon Delight Looking for a little Afternoon Delight, that is what the Starland Vocal Band were trying to do but sadly the cover of their single fails to do this in any satisfactory way. A yellow lion hardly portrays a time of day, let alone an associated emotion. The remix fixed this with a group of ladies sitting around drinking afternoon tea. Why they are largely naked is unknown, but those Brits can be very weird at times, don't you know? Spiffing!

Lipstick Powder And Paint - Shakin' Stevens

Cover Artwork Remix of Shakin Stevens Lipstick Powder And Paint Original Cover Artwork of Shakin Stevens Lipstick Powder And Paint Good 'ole Shakin Stevens, whoever he is, sings about Lipstick Powder And Paint. But he isn't wearing any of those things on the cover artwork of his single. Thankfully there is an easy fix for this and on the remix we see a babe tidying her lipstick up, after having already dealt with her powder and paint. The rest of her outfit needs some work though as she surely isn't going to go out partying dressed like that? Then again, who would mind? Lippy!

Paint Me Down - Spandau Ballet

Cover Artwork Remix of Spandau Ballet Paint Me Down Original Cover Artwork of Spandau Ballet Paint Me Down Just because we had a whole week dedicated to Spandau Ballet remixes, doesn't mean there isn't room not to add yet another one. And hence we give you Paint Me Down. We have no idea what the picture on the original cover is meant to be illustrating, but we do know that on the remix is a woman doing some nude modelling for a painting class. Now in this context, painting her down presumably means starting from the top of the canvas. We're no experts, but that's what we would do. Brush!

Nice - Fat Larry's Band

Cover Artwork Remix of Fat Larrys Band Nice Original Cover Artwork of Fat Larrys Band Nice Another remix for Fat Larry's Band, and this time it's Nice! Nice, according to the original cover artwork, infers a bride wearing white lingerie including fishnet tights and high heels. Nice would be a good word to describe that apparition. In the remix nothing much has changed other than that the bride is wearing slightly less but otherwise little is changed. Less of a remix and more of a refresh. How refreshing, hand me a cold beer to make life complete.
