Just occasionally, we feel it is right, that we at AllBum.Art do a remix designed for the fairer sex, or as we call it One For The Ladies. This time it is the turn of Thin Lizzy and their hit The Boys Are Back In Town. On the original cover we find the 'boys' (a.k.a. the band) digging that crazy guitar. On the remix we find a gang of boys that have just gotten back to town, but for some reason have forgotten all their clothes, except their sneakers. Sneaky!

Blowing a horn loudly in your ear is a sure-fire method of getting you to jump high in the air and Move Your Ass, which is what Scooter are asking us to do on the cover of their single. A picture of a horn is one thing, but what about a picture of the ass that has been moved, and its resting position. We are happy to oblige as that is exactly what can be seen on the remixed cover artwork. Leap!

It's a leap year and on February 29th it is traditional for the tables to be turned and for women to ask men to marry them so we thought this might be an appropriate day for one of our 'One For The Ladies' remixes. The original single cover artwork for Statuesque by Sleeper shows one of the Easter Island head statues. On the first remix we find a guy posing on a plinth as if he was a statue, definitely statuesque. On the second remix we find a babe doing the same thing, that is to say standing on a plinth too. We added that just in case any guys were going to ignore the leap year thing and ask their babes to marry them. Leap of Faith!

We know that a picture of Jerry Lee Lewis playing the piano is probably about all that those in charge of producing the original single front cover artwork for his song entitled Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On could imagine back in 1957. Te remix, however, presents the kind of picture that we think invokes more of a view of there being lots of shakin' goin' on, as five babes dance naked on a sandy beach, presumably listening to the song. Is that a large (maybe empty now) bottle of moonshine in the background? It might explain their carefree abandon. Drunk!

When The Drifters sang Up On The Roof, did you visualize the band members standing around with their arms open wide? Because whoever visualized the original single cover artwork did just that. We visualized something a bit different which, as you might guess, involves a babe up on the roof of a building somewhere, which is exactly what the remix shows. It seems quite sunny up there so she has decided to remove her clothes and catch some rays. Dangerous!

A rare remix in that it is of a song that was released before 1960. Marvin Rainwater sings about a Whole Lotta Woman, but on the original single cover artwork all we find is Mr Rainwater looking as if he is about to play tennis with a bunch of Apache Indians. On the remix we find a whole lotta woman, so much woman in fact that she nearly fills the whole remixed cover. Is this who Mr Rainwater was singing about? She does appear to come from the 1950s. Ancient!

A satanic triple-play from us good folk at AllBum.Art from none other than Neil Sedaka. On the original single cover artwork for Little Devil we find Mr Sedaka looking at something. He may be a little frightened, but with that sweater on, he might just be a bit hot. On the first remix we find a babe who is holding a very small devilish rubber duck in her hand but you can tell although he is little he is a devil, as he is pecking at her nipple ring. On the second remix we find a babe who has clearly been taken over by Beelzibub himself and is a devil in female form. She's not that little though. Size!

Let's all go and join Definition Of Sound at Moira Jane's Cafe. After all, if the original single cover artwork is to be believed, we would enjoy sitting around on some chairs which don't seem very comfortable, and drinking from a very small pot of tea. Or you could go to the remixed Moira Jane's Cafe, in which a blonde babe sits on the counter offering more than coffee and cake. Yummy!

We really have absolutely no idea what Puddle Of Mudd were trying to depict on the original album cover artwork for Come Clean. A little boy peeing against a bush says nothing to us. On the remix, though, one thing is obvious - the babe is clean, having just gotten out of her bath. Why she wore pantyhose and heels in the bath is not clear but you can be assured that if you want to come clean, you need a clean babe to begin with. Shiny!

Ermm... Is it just us, or does the fact that Aerosmith have an album called Big Ones, mean that a remix is so inevitable, to not do it would be worse than letting your ice cream melt on a sunny day without even licking it? Let's put this plainly... On the original album cover artwork we find nothing, other than the name of the band and the title of the album. On the remix we find a babe, with big ones. Easy!
